In the link is a bootstrap 4 example with navbar. There is a cart icon to the right of search bar. What i want to achieve is at the expanded state the cart should be present as it is now i.e right of search section but when the section collapses in mobile views, the cart should not be in collapsible section but it should be to the left of the toggle button. I have attached an image of expected result
How can I achieve this using css or any other method?
UPDATE:
In the original code the cart is wrapped with anchor like follows. So the solution should work when the cart is wrapped with anchor tag
<i class="fa fa-shopping-cart ml-auto moving-cart" style="font-size: 24px; margin-right: 15px;" aria-hidden="true"></i>

Remember when using bootstrap, to always design from mobile first. So I have set your cart to float to the left of your navbar toggler initially on mobile. Then once the width reaches the lg breakpoint, I change the positioning of the cart to be absolute and set it to the far right of the navbar, while givng the navbar some room with pr-lg-5
#media (min-width: 992px) {
.moving-cart {
position: absolute;
right: 0;
transform: translateY(-50%);
}
}
.moving-cart {
font-size: 24px !important;
margin-right: 15px;
}

Why my bootstrap toggler is not showing items?

Im using bootstrap version5 and learning about navbar togglers but my togler is not showing any content on clicking.
Here is my code.

In learning bootstrap and creating a navbar using nav, So I used navbar toggler for small devices so I kept all my links in a toggler button but while clicking on toggler button nothing is showing
And this what I get.
The HTML markup you have shared with your post is correct. It should show the navigation panel while clicking on the toggle button.
I think you have not included the Bootstrap JavaScript file properly with your page. That is why the panel is not responding while clicking on the button.
Add the bootstrap JavaScript file to your page and it will work properly as you expected.

Change data-bs- to data- in your toggle button.

Your code is quite good but You missed to hook up bootstrap5 correctly ;-)
As we can read in official docs:
Include Bootstrap’s CSS and JS. Place the tag in the for
our CSS, and the tag for our JavaScript bundle (including
Popper for positioning dropdowns, poppers, and tooltips) before the
closing </body>.

You can also include Popper and our JS separately. If you don’t plan
to use dropdowns, popovers, or tooltips, save some kilobytes by not
including Popper.
<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/#popperjs/core#2.11.5/dist/umd/popper.min.js" integrity="sha384-Xe+8cL9oJa6tN/veChSP7q+mnSPaj5Bcu9mPX5F5xIGE0DVittaqT5lorf0EI7Vk" crossorigin="anonymous"></script>

Did you include the Bootstrap js file ? If not, the nav bar won't work properly.

Cannot get bootstrap dropdown to work with local files offline

so I have been looking for how to solve this and it's been over a day now.
I have bootstrap version 4.5.2 downloaded locally. I have linked it to my html page and it seems to already be working, but one thing I cannot seem to get to work is the dropdown menu. I tried it with the exact same code in bootstrap website but it doesn't seem to want to work. If anyone could help I would appreciate it very much, thank you all! Also note that when I use the cdn everything works but I want it to work offline if possible.
I will link the code below.

To make bootstrap work offline. you have to link the boostrap javascript to your project. It comes with the downloaded file. Also you have to link the dependencies.

Hamburger in desktop-first site

I want to display hamburger icon and list items in it only on mobile view and want no menu items in navbar in the desktop and tablet view. How do i achieve this if possible with bootstrap or otherwise? This is kind of what i want to do but with a better method if possible.

Bootstrap Navbar is not opening when selecting button

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title> Bootstrap navbar </title>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="bootstrap.min.css">

</div>
</nav>
<script src="bootstrap.min.js"></script>
<script src="jquery-slim.min.js"></script>
<script src="popper.min.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
here it is my Complete Bootstrap Navbar Code, it is collapsing when we view it on mobile device, but when we select the button to open the Navbar that time it is not opening.
OK, the problem is the sequence of your js files. Jquery file needs to be first in order for other files to work as they are using jquery.
<script src="bootstrap.min.js"></script>
<script src="jquery-slim.min.js"></script>
<script src="popper.min.js"></script>
It will work now.
<script src="jquery-slim.min.js"></script>
<script src="bootstrap.min.js"></script>
<script src="popper.min.js"></script>

Bootstrap 4 - Navbar searchbar center

I'm currently struggling a bit on centring my search bar inside my nav. I've tried many different things, like mr-atuo and ml-auto or mx-auto but I just can't get the element to move. I don't want to use individual pixels because then it will look horrible on mobile. Here is a small demonstration of where the bar needs to be and where it currently is: https://imgur.com/a/bHXJD
Here is the code for my navbar:
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="nl">
<head>
<meta charset="UTF-8">
<title>Title</title>
<script src="https://use.fontawesome.com/0ba2bca7b4.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/4.0.0-alpha.6/css/bootstrap.min.css" integrity="sha384-rwoIResjU2yc3z8GV/NPeZWAv56rSmLldC3R/AZzGRnGxQQKnKkoFVhFQhNUwEyJ" crossorigin="anonymous">
</head>

<nav class="navbar navbar-expand-lg navbar-light bg-light navbar-custom z-depth-half">
<div class="container">
<a class="navbar-brand" href="#">
<i class="fa fa-skype"></i>
</a>
<button class="navbar-toggler" type="button" data-toggle="collapse" data-target="#navbarSupportedContent" aria-controls="navbarSupportedContent" aria-expanded="false" aria-label="Toggle navigation">
<span class="navbar-toggler-icon"></span>
</button>
<div class="collapse navbar-collapse" id="navbarSupportedContent">
<ul class="navbar-nav mr-auto">
<li class="nav-item">

</li>
<li class="nav-item">

</li>
</ul>
<ul class="navbar-nav">
<li class="nav-item" style="border-right: 0.1rem solid lightgrey">
<form class="form-inline">
<input class="form-control mr-sm-2 search-input" type="search" placeholder="Zoeken..." name="search" id="search">
<button class="btn btn-search my-2 my-sm-0 " type="submit">
<i class="fa fa-search"></i>
</button>
</form>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link" href="">Aanmelden</a>
</li>
<li class="nav-item">
<a class="nav-link btn nav-register-btn" href="">Registreren</a>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
</div>
</nav>
</body>

Thanks in advance!
You will have to change your HTML structure a bit. Move the form out of the UL
HTML:
...
</ul>
<form class="form-inline">
<input class="form-control mr-sm-2 search-input" type="search" placeholder="Zoeken..." name="search" id="search">
<button class="btn btn-search my-2 my-sm-0 " type="submit">
<i class="fa fa-search"></i>
</button>
</form>
<ul class="navbar-nav">
...
CSS:
.form-inline{
width: 100%;
display: flex;
justify-content: center;
}
.form-inline #search{
width: 50%;
}
JsFiddle
One solution would be to assign a min-width to your .form-inline and let the .search-input grow with flex-box:
.form-inline {
min-width: 500px;
}
.search-input {
flex-grow: 3;
}
