How did they do this with youtube - embed

Hi in the below code if i change domain name the video is not streaming saying that the site has no permision
For the safty of orginal owner i have changed domain in below code
https://www.youtube.com/embed/8EDIJcaAq8Y?iv_load_policy=3&modestbranding=0&playsinline=1&rel=0&autoplay=1&start=0&enablejsapi=1&origin=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cox.com&widgetid=7&showinfo=0
My question is does he take any permision from YT for that site or any other issues
If yes can any one help me with the process

I believe you're talking about the www.cox.com part of the URL.
I've changed it and typed https://www.youtube.com/embed/8EDIJcaAq8Y?iv_load_policy=3&modestbranding=0&playsinline=1&rel=0&autoplay=1&start=0&enablejsapi=1&origin=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.itdoeswork.com&widgetid=7&showinfo=0 instead and opened in a new tab it did work.
What's your exact problem? (I can't comment, pardon me.)

How to change LinkedIn share image in HTML?

I developed some html pages with social sharing functionalities like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn etc.
But now, I have some problem to change LinkedIn image.
To share on LinkedIn I use platform.linkedin.com/in.js plugin:
When I change image from image6.jpg to another JPG file in metatag og:image, changed image couldn't be shared.
Please help me to solve this.
Thank you.
I post this answer for the developers touch Linkedin first.
The other social sites have no problem like this.
But facebook and Linkedin have this problem, because these sites have cache and save the first scraping data in cache (especially images).
Facebook cache can be removed by manually, but Linkedin cache can not be.
Linkedin cache restore scraping data for a week, and Linkedin clean cache after a week.
During this period (one week) the page you want to change image wouldn't be shared.
Because as I write, Linkedin show old data in cache , and save it again, so you have to wait for a week.
Only way to change image immediately is to change page url also.
Thank you.
So, let's think about this. Here is your what I think is the kernel of your problem:
...When I change image from image6.jpg to another JPG file in metatag og:image, changed image couldn't be shared....
At first, when you said When I change image, I thought you meant changing it in the HTML, but now I think what you mean is you are changing it through JavaScript: i.e. $(metaelement).content(newimage);.
If this is what you mean, it will not work. LinkedIn is doing a blind, simple, non-JS activated scrape/parse/cURL of your webpage. If you try to change <title> or <meta> tags with JS, the scrape will not see it. This is true with almost every type of scraped URL, in every single search engine, for instance, like google and bing (changing your <title> via JS will not be reflected in the search result). This is just how the Internet currently works!

For example, this works for me:
https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/?url=http://www.wikipedia.org/
See, it works fine:

Redirecting Posts on Tumblr to Custom Pages

Now before you post one of the many "Add a Page" tutorials I've read, I'm going to say that none of those have helped because not only has Tumblr removed the "Redirect" option on it (courtesy of April 8th, 2015, unfortunately), but the add a page feature does not seem to work when using a custom HTML code--even when you use the "add a page" link that you created and paste it into the link url section provided for the tabs!
Of course, I have also looked at questions on here, but those pertain to loops leading back to the Home page, and do not specify how to have your posts redirected to a specific page. Believe me, I have tried the whole /tagged/yourname URLS under the URL section for the Link, but that is ineffective. I have even tried giving the post a Custom URL and then pasting that URL into the designated link URL section to see if it would pop up under the page but alas, that did not work either. And yes, I've even scoured through the code to find a possible paste solution and have pasted the link into the code directly, but that didn't change anything either as it was just under the "naming" section in the beginning of the code, anyways (should've known that wouldn't work).
If anyone can help me with this issue, or at least understand what I'm even asking, I would be forever grateful.
EFFORT FURTHER EXPLAINED:
Note: the tumblr's /submit URL works, but my attempts on, for eg, a separate art page for posts tagged "somethingart" have been fails.
Redirect: Here's an example of one of the many tutorials I read that has a clear image of where the "redirect" option should be, but of course it's outdated as the edit appearance looks slightly different from that now (you have to scroll down a little).
Okay, so let's move on to the other attempts now although, unfortunately, you're going to have to view them on a google document because apparently, you need to have 10+ reputation to post more than two links (click the link above)!
As for the coding part, well I'm actually a beginner at coding as I've only had two classes last semester (which was a while ago), and that was in C# and the foundations of computer science, so scouring through this code to try and find where I could add something to make it work only gave me a headache in the end (it's really long...).
I think I get you now. As a new account some features are not yet available to you. You will get those features eventually. For now (from what you have in the pictures):
The link (link6 URL) went to home page (or to the error page) most probably because you did not have http:// in the beginning. I said that by assuming how your theme is made based on the picture of 'Theme Options'.
After that is solved, you know the page would not redirect itself to your "tagged/something" page because it is not a "Redirect" page, and you do not have any script to do the redirection (if you do not actually).
Do not worry though, there is a better way; just have the "tagged/something" link directly in your "Link6 URL" option (as in the pictures). You have to put it something like; http://yourblog.tumblr.com/tagged/something.
Let me know if you have any questions?

Web worker not working html5

i have recently started to program in html5,
My friend asked me to build him a youtube video to gif, i have zero idea how to do this, he wants it to sit in his computer (with a web server).
I am looked around in google for few hours before coming in this time because i know this is not google.
So, i found this code - http://techslides.com/demos/video/generate-animatedgif.html, on hes website its working like a charem right? so. he said, copy this template to your web server and it will work.
Well, i did just that - look what happnd -
w.js:3 Uncaught ReferenceError: Worker is not defined
IF NEEDED, i can upload and share my link here if needed. But i will be really happy if someone can tell me what am i doing worng or give me another web that can create gifs ( that you can download the html and host in your own server).
Ty very much, please. i know this is not the reguler qustion in stackoverflow, but please dont close this theard, i ask for help.
Make sure you have this line of code
var worker = new Worker('w.js');
in your html file
So, it seems that web workers can only work if you create a file for them,
So, my answer is simple. I created a w.js file with the code inside, and it works.
Good day all.

Double spelling of url

If I write exemple.com, the web address automatically go to exemple.com/exemple.com, but with www.exemple.com, the website work fine,
I tried to redirect to my index, but the problem still persists.
My .htaccess is empty.
I've stumbled upon this too. Try putting http:// before the url or just write / in the a-href.
But you need to supply us with more information and what you want to achieve for us to help you.

How to set referer when user comes from Google Chrome app icon?

I have a chrome app which basically is just a visual bookmark which sends the visitors to my website.
Currently it doesn't show any referer because technically the user came directly to the website.
Is there a way to detect this?
I understand I can append some query parameters in the URL of the chrome app but I am wondering if there's a cleaner solution than this.
The chrome.webRequest property should allow you to set the information you need. I couldn't find exact details that would help but there is an Auth option which you may be able to use as a referrer.
Hope this helps. Sorry I could not help further.
