Produce a fixed slidebar in the left:
But I want change the position to the right.
Like this:
so how can I put to the right the fixed slidebar?
and which command can I move the the fixed sidebar around the page?
Thank you for the help :)

In this case you can just set .sidenav {right: 10px;} but then have to remove margin from .main and to see the content add a width on the .main div which you can adjust as you wish based on content.
Using .main {margin-right: 140px;} could also do, based on the size of the .sidediv {width: 130px;}.
body {
font-family: "Lato", sans-serif;
}
.sidenav {
width: 130px;
position: fixed;
z-index: 1;
top: 20px;
right: 10px;
background: #eee;
overflow-x: hidden;
padding: 8px 0;
}
.sidenav a {
padding: 6px 8px 6px 16px;
text-decoration: none;
font-size: 25px;
color: #2196F3;
display: block;
}
.sidenav a:hover {
color: #064579;
}
.main {
font-size: 28px; /* Increased text to enable scrolling */
padding: 0px 10px;
width: 75%;
}
#media screen and (max-height: 450px) {
.sidenav {padding-top: 15px;}
.sidenav a {font-size: 18px;}
}

Just change the left setting to right for the sidebar and the margin-left to margin-right for main
body {
font-family: "Lato", sans-serif;
}
.sidenav {
width: 130px;
position: fixed;
z-index: 1;
top: 20px;
right: 10px;
background: #eee;
overflow-x: hidden;
padding: 8px 0;
}
.sidenav a {
padding: 6px 8px 6px 16px;
text-decoration: none;
font-size: 25px;
color: #2196F3;
display: block;
}
.sidenav a:hover {
color: #064579;
}
.main {
margin-right: 140px;
/* Same width as the sidebar + left position in px */
font-size: 28px;
/* Increased text to enable scrolling */
padding: 0px 10px;
}
#media screen and (max-height: 450px) {
.sidenav {
padding-top: 15px;
}
.sidenav a {
font-size: 18px;
}
}

How do I remove the white bar on top of my parallax scrolling effect?

If I want to change the background color of my text inside the parallax scrolling effect there's a white bar on top of it. I tried changing every color that I wrote down but it didn't disappeared. You can see the white bar here. Do I need to change a color in CSS or do I need to need to create a new div?

you should add a class instead of adding style attribute
It appears to be the <h1> tag's default margin sticking out the top. Try clearing the margin with

If you do need some gray space above the <h1> you could add padding instead.
Set margin: 0; on your h1 element.

Why is there white space at the bottom of my web page when run in the browser?

When I run my code in the browser, I have this little line of white space at the bottom of the page. I’ve been trying different solutions but can’t seem to find one that works. Below is the home.html page. Maybe someone here can shed some light into the problem.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why that little line of white space is in there at the very bottom. screenshot
Yes, I have observed white space showing in the bottom. It is because the elements inside body tag is not occupying the full available body size.
elemets heights are as
body- 722
header- 104
.showcase- 251enter code here
.info-bar- 201
.testimonials- ~71
footer- ~62
the white space in the botom is remaining area of viewport. If you make the browser smaller the white space will go away.
To fix this proble you can use below css to the body.
body {
font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Segoe;
font-size: 15px;
line-height: 1.5;
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
background-color: #ffffff;
/* Add below lines*/
display: flex;
flex-direction: column;
align-items: stretch;
}

How to position images and text inside divs?

I am making a ten-page website and I made the general layout but I can't figure out how to position images and text in the div box. Nothing works. In this particular page I want the image to be on the top right of the Div and the text to be on the left. I feel if I can get the general idea of how this works I will be able to do it for the other pages as well.
Below is my code:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<style>
h1{
color:white;
font-size: 50px;
font-family: ultra;
}
p{
color:white;
}
h2{
color:white;
}
body {
font-family: "Lato", sans-serif;
}

width: 250px;
position: fixed;
z-index: 1;
top: 0;
left: 0;

Your code is wrongly finished, look at the below sample from your code, put another </div> tag.
<div align="center">
<div class="main">
<div class="rcorners1" style="background-color: #fffafa;" "text-align:right;">
<img src="Our Gadgets.jpg" class="expand" width="400" height="391" alt=""/>
<div>Content for New Div Tag Goes Here</div>
</div>
</div>
if you place image on the top right and text on the left, then simple use bootstrap for making grids like .col-md-6 .col-sm-12 .col-xs-12 in both image and text
OR
if you wrap the text around the image, then use float: right on the image and it will move to te right and text will wrap the image.
By the way, the code looks so messy, Don't put styles inside HTML page, use an external stylesheet for that.

White bars on both sides of the image

I am working on a website, but I have an issue with white bars on the side of my image.
I tried to fix that with margin, but they are still there.
Here is the code:
body {
overflow: hidden;
height: 100%;
}
.navbar {
overflow: hidden;
background: #1A1A1A;
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
margin: -10px;
font-size: 14px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
}
.navbar a {
float: left;
display: block;
color: #fff;
text-align: center;
padding: 14px 20px;
text-decoration: none;
transition: 0.4s;
}
.navbar a:hover {
background-color: #36A9E0;
color: #000;
transition: 0.4s;
}
.navbar .icon {
display: none;
}
#media screen and (max-width: 600px) {
.navbar a:not(:first-child) {
display: none;
}
.navbar a.icon {
float: right;
display: block;
}

Have you tried changing the margin to 0; on the body element in your CSS?
I just did it in the codepen and it worked.
body {
overflow: hidden;
height: 100%;
margin: 0;
}
Thanks,
It's hard to fully see the impact of the default styling given the example, but the issue is visible in the code snippet.
You image does not have white bars. Your image has a fixed aspect ratio within the html page body.
The content of the page has padding. Your nav element is stacked at the top of the page and has margin: -10px. As the page has a natural padding you've "overridden" the built-in style.
The image is stacked correctly within the confines of a padded body. Removing the negative margin will realign the header to your image left and right edges.
Check any unwanted margins within parent elements of your image - including the html and body tags.

Why do pixels appear a different size on the same device on these two web pages?

I'm making a portfolio for some projects I've worked on whilst learning to code. I've added a banner to the top of each project's webpage, but I'm having issues with a site which is unresponsive (Jubilee Austen page).
Using the Chrome Inspector tool, it says the banner is 55px tall, but it appears smaller than it does on another project page (Rogue Pickings page), where the height of the banner is also 55px. How could this be?
Jubilee Austen page
Rogue Pickings page
Does anyone know how I can fix this so that both banners appear the same height?
Thanks so much in advance!

i cant remember if zoom level is persistant on an iphone but it is on desktop browsers, could you have zoomed in/out of one of them? is there a way of making sure you are at 100% zoom?
Edit
is the smaller one contained in a set of tags that is smaller than 55px? as that would cause it to be restricted to the smaller size
Your banner is not responsive, its height is fixed (55px). If the site is being displayed differently - different viewport zoom, your banner will seems to be smaller/larger.
Check the viewport meta tag in those sites:
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0">
If the initial-scale is different or if one of the pages is missing the viewport tag it can explain the differences.
As mentioned before, the zoom affects the presented width and this affects the visual size of your banner. If you want it to be responsive, you should change the height units into percentage instead of pixels.
EDIT
The first page is much wider than the second, when you zoom out to see all the page it changes the visual height of your banner.
