how to resolve ResolveLibraryProjectImports" task failed unexpectedly Exception - exception

ResolveLibraryProjectImports" task failed unexpectedly
System.IO.FileNotFoundException Could not load assembly
I have tried to resolve it like clean bin, obj rebuild again said in the previous results of this issue but it doesn't work for me. Does anyone have a solution for this issue, please help me.
Note: I am having an error in Mono.Android in the References of portable code is this the problem and how to resolve this also?
This is the error I get:
Error The "ResolveLibraryProjectImports" task failed unexpectedly. System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load assembly 'SampleProject, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken='. Perhaps it doesn't exist in the Mono for Android profile?

=> delete .vs folder
=> restart visual studio in run as admin(if not).
=> clean and rebuild.

Mono.Android is purely a native Android dll for Xamarin.Android
using this in your portable project will throw an error (Of Course.)
This might be the issue if the error still persists after removing the dll then I would suggest you remove the bin obj folders and clean build and in case it still persists you should upload the output window for the debug build as well as error list explanation for this particular error.

Advice needed: NewtonSoft.Json and Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 Classic

I'm trying to get the Codeunit 50000 in this zip file to work: https://kappiwebhosting.blob.core.windows.net/dynamcisis/2015/09/Json.zip
Found here: https://dynamics.is/?p=2303
C/AL Globals
I'm trying to get Dynamics Nav 2009 to recognize the NewtonSoft.Json.dll, but no matter which version i try, i get this error as soon i want to verify the DotNet variable "JsonTextReader"/"JsonTextWriter" when selecting the subtype.
.NET interop: exception occured, 'Could not load file or assembly 'Newtonsoft.Json, Version=4.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=30ad4fe6b2a6aeed' or one of its dependencies. This assembly is built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and cannot be loaded.'.
If i declare a new Test variable of type DonNet and click [...] to select it from scratch i got this error when trying to choose which assembly to use:
.NET interop: exception occured, 'Could not load file or assembly 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\60\Classic\Add-ins\Newtonsoft.Json.dll' or one of its dependencies. This assembly is built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and cannot be loaded.'.
The Newtonsoft.Json.dll file is present ind the folder, and "Everyone" have full control to the folder as well as the file.
The Json.zip file contain a single Newtonsoft.Json.dll which i started out with. Same error. The i downloaded the https://github.com/JamesNK/Newtonsoft.Json/releases and tried all versions with the same result.
Why all this? Yes, the company i work for have decided to start using Shopify, and i need to write an interface for getting orders from Shopify etc.
I really cannot figure out why i can't get this to work. There are 3 other DotNet "variables" that's configured and works as intended with no errors.
So any advice is highly appreciated.
Thanx

The "GenerateDepsFile" task failed unexpectedly

I tried to compile my new application in MonoDevelop and I got this error:

I cannot compile any application. Please help.
I had the same problem using .Net Standard 2.1, and I solved it for myself by cleaning the solution and then rebuilding it.
Just moved my projects to a new machine (copying, not pulling from GIT) and started getting this. Deleting the bin and obj folders in each project solved this issue.
Your combination of Mono MSBuild and .NET Core SDK is incompatible because they use different versions of the internal NuGet library. To resolve this problem, you can:
Downgrade .NET Core SDK to 2.1.5xx or 2.2.1xx (for example, 2.1.505 or 2.2.108)
Upgrade Mono to 6.0
You can find a detailed explanation of this problem and possible solutions here: https://rider-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004180039
This appears to be a known issue.
The only fix at this stage seems to be to downgrade to .NET Core v2.2.105.
To downgrade:
Uninstall the latest .NET Core version (v2.2.2+).
Download and install v2.2.105.
Run the following CMD in the *.sln folder. This will delete all your OBJ and BIN folders automatically. And your issue will be solved.
FOR /d /r . %%d in (bin,obj) DO ( IF EXIST "%%d" ( ECHO %%d | FIND /I "\node_modules\" > Nul && ( ECHO.Skipping: %%d ) || ( ECHO.Deleting: %%d rd /s/q "%%d" )))
I had the same problem in migration from .Net Framework 4.5 to .NET 6.0 (with the 70 project).
All of the above answers are correct, but they were not enough for my problem.
I use this answer:
Deleting the bin and obj and .vs folders then Clean Solution and
Rebuild Solution
it's working in Build Mode, not Rebuild. And the problem remained.
I update the Version of SDK , but not enough and I have the problem.
I realized this:
duplicate property (or variables) with the same name (or similar Name) in derived classes.
It was a good solution and a few problems were solved.
finally (after the 3 days), The biggest problem I noticed was that I had Loop References.
I fixed The Loop References in projects and the error is solved.
Change the name of the file. For instance, Add prefix _ or #; so, it cannot be used.
Restart Visual Studio, then try to build. If still problem is there, needs to restart the machine.
I had this error happen and the slove for me was correcting the Package version number in .csproj file .
<Version>2.0.7.</Version> <!--casued the error-->
<Version>2.0.7</Version> <!--this fixed the error-->
Removing the trailing '.' fixed this for me.
I had .net standard project built on .net standard 2.0. Yesterday I updated my Visual Studio 2019 to 16.3.0 to leverage .Net Core 3.0. But all of sudden build of project targeting on standard 2.0 started throwing "GenerateDepsFile" task failed unexpectedly error.
I was able to resolve this issue by changing the target framework to 2.1.
If you have <DelaySign>false</DelaySign> in your .csproj file remove it to solve this Problem.
in vs code i got this error, after trying some solution from forms, i found solution in deleting bin and obj foldersfrom project and build again.
this solved my problem.
vs code version: 1.53.1
dotnet version : 5
I had it after updating vs 2019 community,
Delete bin & obj folders,
then clean & build the solution.
I had this error and after reading comments, I was able to resolve by combining comments - First deleted bin folder, obj folder, executed clean command, deleted enter image description here and then rebuilded.

Eception From HRESULT: 0*8013141a

I have made a desktop application for my project in my other laptop when i run this in my new laptop on same visual studio this shows following error:
could not load file or assembly 'MySql.Data, version=7.0.6.0, culture= neutral, PublicKeyToken=c5687fc88969c44d' or none of its dependencies. Strong name validation Filed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0*8013141a)
Please check below two issues and i think you tag should be changed because it is not directly mysql problem
Does the shortcut in the Start Menu set the working directory
correctly? (I suspect that this is the most likely answer)
Is there a different/incorrect version of MySql.Data.dll installed in
the GAC (Global Assembly Cache)? I've seen this give similar error
messages before.

Unable to call apoc.load.json on Neo4j 3.2.6

I am using Neo4j Community Edition 3.2.6 along with apoc-3.2.3.5-all.jar on Mac. When I try to use any query on the browser that contains call apoc.load.json, I keep getting Failed to invoke procedure apoc.load.json: Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class apoc.util.JsonUtil. I can confirm that Neo4j is able to find my jar under plugins directory as apoc.load.json is listed when I use CALL dbms.procedures(). Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong that I am getting the error?
I tried the same versions on my Mac, and could not reproduce that error.
If you installed the Neo4j Desktop for OSX, you need to put plugin jar files in 2 folders:
- /Applications/Neo4j\ Community\ Edition\ <version>.app/Contents/Resources/app/plugins
- /Users/<user>/Documents/Neo4j/default.graphdb/plugins

Unable to cast COM object of type 'System._COMObject' to interface type

I have 3 SSIS packages. Two out of the 3 SSIS packages work perfectly, the third. Which is a copy of the 2nd one, except changing connection strings keeps throwing the problem:
Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Pipeline.Wrapper.IDTSObject100'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{D4E5AF42-7999-473C-8082-6EFC676953C4}' failed due to the following error: The application called an interface that was marshalled for a different thread. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8001010E (RPC_E_WRONG_THREAD)).
It has been doing this ever since I copied the package over. I have followed through online guides and run the regsvr32 dts.dll and this said it was successful but nothing has changed. I still get the error, why is this?
The SSIS package seems to validate my containers, it takes a long time to do this compared to the other two and then fails later on in the validation throwing the above error message.
You can't just copy the package, but you need additionally to change the name and generate new GUID (which identifies the COM object) for this package. Check this MSDN article for more info.
Here is the workaround: Solution Explorer -> right click project ->properties->debugging->Run64bitRuntime->set to false.
I hope it helps others. The solution worked for me:
I registered the assembly using the gacutil.exe. My SSIS project target server version was SQL 2012. So, I was using the DTSPipelineWrap.dll version 11.0. I opened the "Developer Command Prompt for VS2015" in Administrator mode, then typed the following command: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v8.1A\bin\NETFX 4.5.1 Tools\gacutil.exe /i "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\120\SDK\Assemblies\Microsoft.SqlServer.DTSPipelineWrap.dll"
Then from my SSIS script task, References--> I removed the existing DTSPipelineWrap which was using the assembly from the location "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\120\SDK\Assemblies\Microsoft.SqlServer.DTSPipelineWrap.dll". Then in the References folder, right click-->Add Reference-->Browse find the assembly from the location "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Microsoft.SqlServer.DTSPipelineWrap\v4.0_11.0.0.0__89845dcd8080cc91\Microsoft.SQLServer.DTSPipelineWrap.dll"
Click Ok. Rebuild the code and executed the package. It has worked for me.
In my case this is was a validation overload/timeout, the package contained references to hundreds of tables.
Opening the offending data flow forced re-validation and cleared the error.
Project --> Properties --> Configuration Properties --> Debugging
and then change Run64BitRuntime to False under Debug Options
In case this might help someone: I got this error due to timeout issues caused by a poorly optimised query. There was nothing inherently wrong with the SSIS package and it ran fine once i fixed the problem in the DB Source.
