Angular tab change on new value?
<ul class="nav nav-tabs">
<li class="active">
<a class="A" data-target="#A">Nye({{c.data.feil_nye_ant}})</a>
</li>
<li class="nav">
<a class="B" data-target="#B">Aktive({{c.data.feil_aktive_ant}})</a>
</li>
<li class="nav">
<a class="C" data-target="#C">HASTER({{c.data.feil_haster_ant}})</a>
</li>
<li class="nav">
<a class="D" data-target="#D">Ferdige({{c.data.feil_ferdig_ant}})</a>
</li>
</ul>
Need to draw focus by opening the "HASTER" tab (means "urgent"), when the value of c.data.feil_haster_ant is updated.
You can use ng-class to make your tabs active. When you perform an event on the tab (like click), set the value of some condition to trigger changes for the css of that tab using ng-class.
HTML:
<ul class="nav nav-tabs">
<li class="active" ng-class="{'active': Some condition}">
<a class="A" data-target="#A">Nye({{c.data.feil_nye_ant}})</a>
</li>
<li class="nav" ng-class="{'active': Some condition}">
<a class="B" data-target="#B">Aktive({{c.data.feil_aktive_ant}})</a>
</li>
<li class="nav" ng-class="{'active': Some condition}">
<a class="C" data-target="#C">HASTER({{c.data.feil_haster_ant}})</a>
</li>
<li class="nav" ng-class="{'active': Some condition}">
<a class="D" data-target="#D">Ferdige({{c.data.feil_ferdig_ant}})</a>
</li>
</ul>
CSS:
.active{

I have a bootstrap template I am practising on. In the navbar there is "Blog" and "Test"
On the test button, I removed the li class="dropdown ", because I wanted to try to make a button where the hover is active like on the "blog" button. But when I hover over the test, the text only display blue, on there is not a white background.
I cannot figure out how I can make that work? I have to make a CSS class for a button on the navbar, who does not have a dropdown.
For fun sake I tried to delete all the CSS, but the hover was still working on the blog button.
<div class="collapse navbar-collapse" id="navbar-collapse-1">
<!-- main-menu -->
<ul class="nav navbar-nav ">
<li class="dropdown ">
Blog
<ul class="dropdown-menu">
<li >Blog Home <span class="badge">v1.1</span></li>
<li >Blog Home 2 <span class="badge">NEW</span></li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
<ul class="nav navbar-nav ">
<li>
Test
<ul class="dropdown-menu">
<li >Blog Home <span class="badge">v1.1</span></li>
<li >Blog Home 2 <span class="badge">NEW</span></li>
<li class="dropdown ">
<a class="dropdown-toggle" data-toggle="dropdown" href="#">Large Image</a>
<ul class="dropdown-menu to-left">
<li >Right Sidebar</li>
<li >Left Sidebar</li>
<li >Without Sidebar</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li class="dropdown ">
<a class="dropdown-toggle" data-toggle="dropdown" href="#">Medium Image</a>
<ul class="dropdown-menu to-left">
<li >Right Sidebar</li>
<li >Left Sidebar</li>
<li >Without Sidebar</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li class="dropdown ">
<a class="dropdown-toggle" data-toggle="dropdown" href="#">Masonry</a>
<ul class="dropdown-menu to-left">
<li >Right Sidebar</li>
<li >Left Sidebar</li>
<li >Without Sidebar</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li >Timeline</li>
<li >Blog Post</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
To style your links within navigation menus you have to add one of these lines in your CSS file according to your HTML
(1) if the main parent div is .navbar-collapse:
.navbar-collapse .navbar-nav>li a{background-color:#fff;}
(2) if the main parent is Navbar-default:
.navbar-default .navbar-nav>li a {background-color:#fff;}
(3) if the main parent is navbar-inverse:
.navbar-inverse .navbar-nav>li a{background-color:#fff;}
And something like this depending on the main parent class and the class with in ul tag
I'm trying to create spaced tabs. I want about 6-8 of them running across the width of the screen, each with equal distance apart from each other. I also need them to have dropdown ability on hover.
Initially I went with Bootstrap 3 for quick and fast tabs. However, I can't seem to get them to space equally across the width of the page.
Alternatively, I found this awesome snippet of code which is pure css. However, I'm far from a css wizard and making a pure dropdown like the tabs would take me a long time.
Anyone know a solution to the bootstrap 3 problem of spacing or know where I can get a pure css dropdown solution? Bootstrap 3 code below, pure css in jsfiddle link
Thanks!
Code:
<ul class='nav nav-tabs'>
<li class='dropdown'>
<a class='dropdown-toggle' data-toggle='dropdown' href='#'>Test 1</a>
<ul class='dropdown-menu'>
<li><a href='#'>test 1</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li class='dropdown'>
<a class='dropdown-toggle' data-toggle='dropdown' href='#'>Test 2</a>
<ul class='dropdown-menu'>
<li><a href='#'>test 2</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li class='dropdown'>
<a class='dropdown-toggle' data-toggle='dropdown' href='#'>Test 3</a>
<ul class='dropdown-menu'>
<li><a href='#'>test 3</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
You can enclose your code inside a div with container-fluid class. It will help you to utilize entire width of apge.
ul.nav-tabs > li {
width: 33%;
text-align: center;
}
<link href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.6/css/bootstrap.min.css" rel="stylesheet" />
<div class="container-fluid">
<ul class='nav nav-tabs'>
<li class='dropdown'>
<a class='dropdown-toggle' data-toggle='dropdown' href='#'>Test 1</a>
<ul class='dropdown-menu'>
<li><a href='#'>test 1</a>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li class='dropdown'>
<a class='dropdown-toggle' data-toggle='dropdown' href='#'>Test 2</a>
<ul class='dropdown-menu'>
<li><a href='#'>test 2</a>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li class='dropdown'>
<a class='dropdown-toggle' data-toggle='dropdown' href='#'>Test 3</a>
<ul class='dropdown-menu'>
<li><a href='#'>test 3</a>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
I have run into a bug with Bootstraps navbar-fixed-top with the iPhone 6+'s mobile safari in landscape on iOS 8. The bug only happens with other tabs open.
Here is how to replicate it:
1) Go to http://getbootstrap.com/examples/navbar-fixed-top/ on your iPhone 6+ in landscape – be sure you have one other tab open
2) Scroll down the page without opening the collapse
3) Once Safari's status bar (the url and tabs) goes away, open the navbar
4) Scroll back up so that Safari's status bar with tabs comes back up
5) Try to close the navbar.
I had this bug in iOS 7, but was able to fix it by adding the viewport minimal-ui meta. I have tested my iPhone 6+, and the 6+ iPhone simulator with the latest version of iOS 8. It appears the tabs are to blame since the regular iPhone 6 doesn't have this problem because the tabs do not show on the status bar. I would imagine this bug goes beyond just Bootstrap though, but applies to any fixed element on the top.

I have yet to find a work around. Any ideas?
If I understand correct this issue comes up whenever the landscape tabs are open. You will be unable to either open/or close the mobile menu.
I managed to fix it with a workaround:
Make an absolute positioned div(with id #ios_menu_fix in this case) about the size of the toggle button.
In css align it where the toggle button would be in the fixed nav menu. Make sure it has z-index set and also -webkit-transform: translate3d(0,0,0); to fix ios z-index issue when scrolling up.
Every time page is scrolled set the top to page scrolled height like so:
$(window).on('scroll',function() {
$("#ios_menu_fix").css("top", $(document).scrollTop()+"px");
});
Open/close the menu when #ios_menu_fix is clicked
$(".nav-collapse").collapse('hide');
$(".nav-collapse").collapse('show');
You can check if the menu is open like so:
var toggle = $(".nav-collapse").is(":visible");
if (toggle) {
$(".nav-collapse").collapse('hide');
}
else {
$(".nav-collapse").collapse('show');
}
Its an ugly solution but the only one I currently find working that doesn't break other mobile browsers and layouts.
These code examples use JQuery.
I have this in my HTML , I am using bootstrap 3 classes to make a drop down with in another drop down.
<div class="subnav">
<ul class="nav-pills">
<li class="dropdown" style="float: right;">
<a class="dropdown-toggle" data-toggle="dropdown" href="#" >
<span id="spnUsrName">Welcome, {{usrName}}</span>
</a>
<ul class="dropdown-menu pull-right">
<li class="disabled" >Disabled link 1</li>
<li class="disabled" >Disabled link 2</li>
<li class="divider"></li>
<li class="dropdown-submenu">Settings
<ul class="dropdown-menu">
<li>Change Password</li></ul>
</li>
<li>Logout</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
However, the 'ul' inside the first dropdown-meu is not showing up. The "Settings" option is displayed, but change password option is not displayed. Where have I gone wrong.
<div class="content">
<ul class="clean menu" id="topics">
<li class="drop png">
<div>
<span href="#" id="phone" style="BACKGROUND-POSITION: 13px -79px">Phone</span>
</div>
<ul class="clean menu sub">
<li>
<a cat="tech" class="sec_phone_0" href="javascript:void(0);" name="&lid=choose_category_phone_digital" rel="1">FiOS Digital Voice</a>
</li>
<li class="last">
<a cat="tech" class="sec_phone_1" href="javascript:void(0);" name="&lid=choose_category_phone_dialup" rel="1">Home Phone(Copper)</a>
</li>
<li class="last">
<a cat="tech" class="sec_phone_2" href="javascript:void(0);" name="&lid=choose_category_phone_fiosVoice" rel="1">FiOS Voice</a>
</li>
<li class="last" style="margin-bottom:7px;">
<a cat="tech" class="sec_phone_2" href="javascript:void();" name="&lid=choose_category_phone_wireless" rel="1">Verizon Wireless</a>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
</div>
Now I need to select the "cat" value of Fios Voice. How can I do this in Mootools v1.3.2?
Need to set the value in cookie.
This script gets the property of link on click event.
window.addEvent('domready',function(){
$$('ul.sub')[0].getElements('a').each(function(el,ind){
el.addEvent('click',function(){
var cat = el.getProperty('cat');
alert(cat)
})
})
})
For case when <a cat="tech1" class="sec_phone_0 active" href="javascript:void(0);" name="&lid=choose_category_phone_digital" rel="1">FiOS Digital Voice</a> has class="active"
window.addEvent('domready',function(){
if($$('ul.sub')[0].getElements('a.active')[0]){
var cat = $$('ul.sub')[0].getElement('a.active').getProperty('cat');
alert(cat);
}
})
