The problem of displaying the gray block when the map is loaded.
I tried both versions of the maps.
Native maps is not very suitable for many reasons, but it is loaded without gray blocks.
Google Maps API is completely suitable, but there is a problem when loading the map. Is it possible to somehow map the cache so that it is displayed as a native map?

I understand you are using the Google Maps JavaScript API with Ionic 2. If so,

Embed Google Maps - Difference between Google Maps Embed API and Share a map - Embed
I need to embed a Google Map Place in my web Application. I can see two options:
Google Maps Embed API -
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/embed/start
Google
Maps Share Location Embed -
https://support.google.com/maps/answer/144361?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en
What is the difference between the two with respect to usage in a web application?
Google Maps Embed API have a few features which are not available with Google Maps Share Location Embed like highlighting places and tracking the usage of the API(e.g. how many times the map was loaded), while the Share a map is mostly customized for each user:
When you view the map on your site, you'll see your saved places on
the map(saved on your gmail account).
Your site's visitors won't see those saved places – they'll see a map
built for them.
If you are building a site that will be used by the public, I would suggest that you use the Embed API, this will also help you monitor the volume of the visitors of your site.
I have recorded flight track data (lat, lon, altitude, angle, speed...) and want to simulate a cockpit view of the recorded flight.
Is there a JavaScript API to do this in 3D Google Maps (set and move camera view in Google Maps 3D)?
I am new to Google Maps API and cannot find documentation for this.
I think you can't do it using Javascript API. But closest thing for this is by using Styled Maps. As of now only Google Maps Android API and Google Maps SDK for iOS
can do it.
I found the very cool framework cesiumjs
which provides excatly what i was searching for.
Set camera with heading, roll, pitch and altitude.
I'd like to use the Google Directions API on iOS 6 but I'm concerned about Sections 10.1.1g in the Maps API Terms of Service, which states that content must be displayed exclusively on a Google map. Am I allowed to use the Google Directions API and display the results using MapKit on iOS 6?
I want to show the google map of my company in the company website. I read on the google maps site that new keys for google map for actionscript are no longer available. How can I show google map in the site?
These are the two alternatives you have :
Bing Maps Platform in Flash/Flex/ActionScript
Yahoo! Maps AS-Flash API
MapQuest offers both Flash and Mobile Flash APIs and they ARE supported!
Obviously this isn't a solution that involves Google, but I've been happy with the MapQuest Flash APIs. Hope this helps!
These are the alternatives we've been deciding between:
Flex Only
ESRI ArcGIS Flex API
AS3
OpenScales
ModestMaps
MapQuest
As a side note if you are just trying to show a simple map on your website, perhaps you should consider the JS Google Maps API? It's fairly simple to add a small map to a html page. Check out http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/javascript/
Hope that helps.
I am using the google maps api v2 to build attraction guide mashup. Currently it shows some landmarks on the tiles it returns. I notice some of the geocoding of certain attractions is off.
Is there a way I can tell google to send back map tiles with no land marks? I cant seem to find any info on the api docs about it.
As of Google Maps API v3, you can use the Google Maps API Styled Map Wizard to do exactly this.
There is no way to request custom tiles from Google. Your only option is to choose from the available map types, or to generate your own tiles.
The Terrain map (G_PHYSICAL_MAP) might be more acceptable for you.
