I'm using Bootstrap and Bootstrap Live Customizer to build a theme for a new site. One feature seems like it may be missing. I'm not sure how change the border width on any elements. Is there a way to change this globally, with or without Bootstrap Live Customizer? Or do I have to append my own CSS for this? Fairly new to Bootstrap, BTW.

So basically i need to add few responsive grid elements inside website, i only have access to html text editor..
I tried one way, to link bootstrap css, it worked, but problem is it messed up other webpage elements as well.
So im running out of ideas how to do this hackjob..
Another thing, i cant upload css to that website server (css file uploading is blocked in html text editor), so i can either link or use inline style css.
Any ideas of how i should this?
Use the CDN of the Bootstrap Grid only. Then none of your other elements will be changed from the other Bootstrap CSS.
Bootstrap 4 Grid:

I'm working with Macrowave Dreamweaver 8. I need to make display my website for all devices. I have an index.css witch contains desktop style, and an index_mobile.css that is the style sheet of mobile devices.
I used display:none to all div in index_mobile.css that aren't used on mobile version. Than in my index.htm i set:
#import url (LAYOUT/index.css);
#import url(LAYOUT/index_mobile.css);
but it didm't change nothing. What i missed?
The easiest and best way to do this is by using bootstrap. Take a look at the container rows and columns. Bootstrap is really easy to use and it will safe you a lot of time, it also comes with components that you can easily style by overwriting the bootstrap CSS with your own CSS.
Either use bootstrap 3 or the latest bootstrap 4 beta.

I am trying to achieve a very simple concept, but couldn't find an easy way to do it (without having to override Bootstrap's default CSS).
I am using SASS, I use the bootstrap-sass repo .
My goal is to make the page "fluid" when it's on md size or below, but not "fluid" when it's bigger. Is there a simple way of doing this with bootstrap SASS, or do I have to manipulate the CSS directly?
Thanks!
I've built a website using bootstrap, and I now want to use the Bootstrap Material Design theme for its sexy components. So I included the css and js in my <head>, which immediately changes a lot of things in my website, such as the background and the navbar.
Unfortunately I do not want to use the background or the navbar of the theme. Does anybody know how I can override or "disable" the theme's navbar and background?
All tips are welcome!
You can override it by going into your new theme. Find the background and navbar in the css file of your new theme and simply use "!important" to override this.
Example:
background: white !important;
find all unwished components, copy and paste them into your own css file, change the values and include it as latest into the header section. hope this helps
