Project Transfer executes but target project is still blank - mysql

My current set up for EA is hosted on MySQL DBMS and has version control with Subversion. I attempted to do a DBMS to File project transfer to one on a desktop which complete's successfully. However, when I open the target project it seems as if the source project did not transfer over at all. Has anyone come across this issue before?
Below is my logfile:
+--------------------------------------------
| Data Transfer model log file

| Target DBMS: JET

Most likely it's a missing table usystables. You need to recover it from some blank EAP file. See also this post: enter link description here
P.S. Or it's what Geert posted just a few seconds ago ;-)

Do you still have security set on the target model?
That can effectively cause this type of issue.
Solution is to remove security from the target model (or start with a blank target project)

Formulare (German) vs Forms (English)

I am getting an issue running a Microsot Access Database (.accdb).
The application was made by a German colleague (using Ms Access in German language of course), now after I copied into my machine (I am using Ms Access in English language) I am getting the following prompts: "Enter parameters values" (see screenshot).
It is clear that the program is looking for values like "Auswahl_MinDate" , in the query I replaced all the code from "Formulare" to "Forms" - it has worked however it is still looking for 2 more values starting with Formulare.
I tried to check all the Forms, Query 1 by 1 however could not find significant results.
For example the 'Auswahl_MinDate' is a date picker control, hence I deleted and recreated but still...
Where else this 'Forumulare' could be set ?
Thanks.
If you can't find it in query parameters or SQL, it may be hidden in control properties.
Your best bet is probably a global search tool.

The 2nd post has an .accdb for Access 2016 (the original is .mdb)
You need to register to download the file.
Still available for download, but unfortunately not for purchase is Find and Replace by Rick Fisher (Shareware)

V 9.00k also works for Access 2016 / 365.
I don't remember if it stops working after 30 days or just keeps nagging.

Cloudconnect CSV buffer size

When I try to load a big CSV from a zip file, the execution log give me the following error:
----------------------------------------- Error details ------------------------------------------
Component [Clientes:CLIENTES1] finished with status ERROR.
The size of data buffer is only 100663296. Set appropriate parameter in defaultProperties file.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How can I set the appropriate parameter in defaultProperties file?
I tried this link, but my cloudconnect run configurations page is different from the link:
I've created the parameters file and filled the additional parameters with the right values like said the tutorial (code bellow) and the same error appear in the screen.
Name: -config; Value: new_buffer_size.txt
The new_buffer_size.txt content have just this line:DEFAULT_INTERNAL_IO_BUFFER_SIZE = 200000000
How can I solve this problem? I need to solve this before the world explodes.
CloudConnect is designed to develop ETL(s), which can be run on GoodData cloud workers and therefore some lower level settings are surpassed as in this case. The only legitimate way is to modify the ETL the way it can process the data with current settings. Regarding to docs, the referenced article is outdated. GoodData docs team is aware if it and they are preparing docs refactoring.
Note: As you have probably noticed, CloudConnect is being powered by Javlin's Clover ETL, therefore feel free to check their forums, as you would find there how to overcome the issue on lower level (no UI), but it would work only for data processing on the local machine.

Failure log from Dev Center

Recently I’ve release my Windows 10 UWP application in store .
Last week I released a new update in store ,after a week I receive lots of mail from users about a bug in my app.(Pages that want to connect to database can't open and they crash)
Funny part is that when I deploy and run it by visual studio or Powershell (appx-package command) everything works fine, so I can't find a thing.(Even in RemoteMachine and Emulator)
So I was checking my dashboard in dev center and find some "failed log" there.
How can I use these logs to find my problem?
I'm really stuck and don't know what to do!!
Solution:
In Properties of the Project there is a file named Default.rd.xml that contains an element like <Assembly Name="*Application" ...
So by mistake the attribute it was changed to name="*Application" (Don't know what changed that and VisualStudio didn't notice that.)

Renamed SSIS Package and Now Don't Have Access to my Solutions

I made a goof and renamed my SSIS package without fully understanding what I was doing. Now I get "one or more solutions couldn't be added..." I then go to my solution explorer and no solutions are there. Please note that I've been working on this project for 6 months. I checked the project obj folder and all my solutions are there. I'm pretty sure I have to rename something else. Will somebody please help me. I am an intern and am FREAKING OUT.
Let's examine what's happening. I am using SSIS 2012 in this example but the steps will be the same for 2005 to 2014. This assumes you have turned off "hide file extensions".
Visual Studio is an Integrated Development Environment, IDE, for developing software. The outermost concept is a Solution. See 1 below. Solutions solve a problem as a whole. A solution might need multiple tools to solve a problem. A tool in this case, is a Project (#2). Depending on the type of project, different folders and such will appear in section 3. This is an example of an SSIS project.
If you don't see your solution, there's a question for that Solution Folder Not Showing in Visual Studio 2010 - How Can I Make It Visible?
If I Rename the project JeffOrris to JeffOrris2 and close Visual Studio, it will prompt me to save changes to JeffOrris.sln (and optionally, the project). If I click No, when I reopen the solution, I am greeted with the following error message along with Visual Studio indicating that my project JeffOrris is unavailable. :'(
---------------------------
Microsoft Visual Studio
---------------------------
One or more projects in the solution were not loaded correctly.
Please see the Output Window for details.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
To start fixing things, you have to get Visual Studio to play ball. You can do this one of two routes. The first is to Add the renamed project back into the solution. Add... Existing Project... and then find your .dtproj file (or .whatever it was with 2005/2008) Assuming that loads fine, you can right click on the one that isn't loading and select Remove. Then click "Save All" or Ctrl-Shift-S
Option 2, which is what I do is to go mucking about with files. Find where your .SLN is. If your project is still open, it will indicate it under properties but once it's bolloxed then you'd need to right click and choose Open Folder in File Explorer.
However you get here, look at what you have.
A solution is represented on disk by a .sln file. That's a text file, might be UTF-8 but it's human readable text. The .suo file is binary that keeps track of what you have open and such. It doesn't matter, the .sln does.
Take a peek inside your solution file. Knowledge is only good for you
Microsoft Visual Studio Solution File, Format Version 12.00
# Visual Studio 2012
Project("{159641D6-6404-4A2A-AE62-294DE0FE8301}") = "JeffOrris", "JeffOrris\JeffOrris.dtproj", "{631559E9-5ED5-4F63-B74E-BFB6CBAE89C5}"
EndProject
Global
GlobalSection(SolutionConfigurationPlatforms) = preSolution
Development|Default = Development|Default
EndGlobalSection
GlobalSection(ProjectConfigurationPlatforms) = postSolution
{631559E9-5ED5-4F63-B74E-BFB6CBAE89C5}.Development|Default.ActiveCfg = Development
{631559E9-5ED5-4F63-B74E-BFB6CBAE89C5}.Development|Default.Build.0 = Development
EndGlobalSection
GlobalSection(SolutionProperties) = preSolution
HideSolutionNode = FALSE
EndGlobalSection
EndGlobal
Of importance is the line starting with Project. That says I, the Solution, have a Project called JeffOrris and the project file can be found, relative to my location, at Folder called JeffOrris and inside there a file named JeffOrris.dtproj
The "trick" then is to make your subject and verbs agree. Or in this case, make your Solution and your .dtproj file agree. That'd be #6 below. After saving the solution file, Visual Studio should prompt you to reload it and whoosh, your project is back.
If you have inadvertently renamed the .dtproj file, then you can rename it back. Again, save all

MySQL T4 Templates Error: Metadata file 'MySql.Data' could not be found

D:\Web\CityV2\App_Code\ActiveRecord.tt(0,0) : error CS0006: Compiling transformation: Metadata file 'MySql.Data' could not be found
Let me start by saying I'm using VWD 2008 Express.
These are the steps I've taken so far:
Created an entirely new project
Added references for Subsonic.Core.dll and MySql.Data.dll
Copied Active Record templates to project
Changed all <## include file="SQLServer.ttinclude" #> to <## include file="MySQL.ttinclude" #>
Copied the MySQL.ttinclude and Settings.ttinclude from the TemplateProviders folder
Updated Settings.ttinclude with my connectionstring and database information
Updated the Settings.ttinclude and created the external tool mapping as per ranomore's instructions
Attempted to build the code from the templates and received the error
I then realized that I didn't have MySql Connector "installed" on my dev box (even though I added a reference to the bin). So I proceeded to MySQL.com and downloaded the latest 6.0.4 connector msi and installed it (GAC). The error no longer appears, but neither does anything else: no new classes, no new errors, nothing [and yes, I refreshed the project after running the command ;-)].
Two things:
Am I missing a step somewhere?
Is there a way build the templates without needing MySQL installed to the GAC?
Unfortunately SubSonic 3 doesn't support VWD 2008 Express (or more specifically VWD doesn't support t4). There is a sort of workaround that ranomore came up with but it will require some work by you. See the following question for more details:
SubSonic ASP.NET MVC sample in Visual Web Developer Express
EDIT: I should have read your question properly you obviously already have the link above. Maybe worth your while downloading the trial of VS professional and seeing if you have more luck with that to see if it's worth outlaying the cash to buy it.
On a side note if you're looking to get an msdn subscription for free you should have a look into registering for the bizspark program
