I have a LibGDX project which I can run on all platforms that are supported by LibGDX. Recently I started integrating the Google Nearby Messages API. I got it working on Android through platform-specific code, pretty much like the description on Google says it should be done. Now I want to integrate it in the iOS project, which uses RoboVM, but according to their documentation (https://developers.google.com/nearby/messages/ios/get-started) I should use CocoaPods, which doesn't seem so straightforward for integration, especially in a LibGDX project. I hope someone with some experience in doing this can help me out, or point me to a project in which that's already done. Thanks!
As far as I know, with RoboVM you use their available RoboPods supporting the most popular 3rd party intgrations, but not all.
Popular Google tools are listed there but I did not see Google Nearby Messages API, more info here:

I'm using TestFlight to test my app.
I uploaded on itunesConnect and after some problems, now it works fine and I think I understood itunesConnect's flow.
Now I want to monitor the user experience (just for my testers) and I want to know where the user is clicking and if sometimes the app crashes.
I remember that TestFlight had some API to do this, but now I can't find them!
Maybe it was an old features when it wasn't buy from Apple. I don't know... but I don't find any good information about the API.
I'm working inside Flash Builder using as3. Any idea?
Thanks a lot!
As I mentioned in my comments, this is not acheivale at full by ItunesConnect and its App Analytics, I am using and recommend you to try this tool: https://www.appsee.com/ it matches what you want and shows really good UX analytics.
I am wanting to develop a simple micro location app using iBeacons (just arrived today...how exciting). I have zero experience coding native in iOS and Android however have developed several apps using AS3/Air so I was wondering if there is a way to receive the beacon data using AS3?
I know there is a Bluetooth ANE for Android (which is not production ready) but was hoping someone knew of an iOS and Android ANE.
Happy to pay someone to create one for me if possible!
To my knowledge, nobody has built a ANE wrapper for the Android iBeacon Library or for the iOS CoreLocaton APIs. There is an iOS wrapper and an Android wrapper for Xamarin (another cross-platform development framework), and I have been approached by folks interested in building an Android wrapper for the Basic4Android.
An ANE wrapper would be an interesting addition, so if anyone experienced with building them is interested in working on this, I would be happy to help on either the Android or iOS side.
Full disclosure: I am the primary author of the Android iBeacon Library.
I've just found iBeacon ANE on this site http://www.caffaware.com/archives/469
Good job! ;-)
If anybody is still looking, a free ANE can be found here:

With the launch of Google Drive, i have been looking over the API and information available. I failed to find example or information that its even possible.
I would like to create a editor that two users can collaborate within at the same time. We all seen how google's own editor can do this.
The idea is for creating a demo where two programmers can work on the same project and work on the same files replacing subversion or other team solutions with a alternative solution.
Anyone able to find any examples in the google api or elsewhere, or better yet able to share some experience/code.
I assume its possible as WeVideo release an app for collaborate video editing.
Currently, the Drive SDK doesn't offer this feature, sorry. Those apps that are achieving this are performing the collaborative aspects by themselves.
The SDK does support ETags so that your app can check that the file content has not been changed since it loaded the data, which will help.
Google Drive now has the Realtime API (as of 2013, I think).
i'm need to develop and web application that uses maps, and i have two option in my to reach the goal. Google maps or bing maps, my concern it's witch it's better about
Documentation it's very important
Implementation with a Web application develop in .net
Fast learning curve
i need recommendations because for my point of view both are a completed tools for solve my problem. Thanks
I strongly recommend Google Maps.
Fabulous documentation
Code Playground
Very fast learning curve
With the new v3 api you don't need a api key
Cheers
take a look at our series of articles comparing aspects of both, and Ill admit up front I like bing more but have tried to be as impartial as possible:

I'm looking to build a small GIS in my spare time and have been digging into Geodjango.
I've been trying to find examples of open source Geodjango projects to look through, but I have had little luck, so here I am. I've been through most of the tutorials I could find, but they all seem to stop at the same point and I'm curious to look into some more complicated real-world code.
Anyone know if/where I can find some? Anything will suffice, but stuff using the Google Earth API as opposed to Open Layers would be ideal.
everyblock.com recently released their source code for their GeoDjango-based site. I've been digging through it - it's an interesting case study. It includes the public-facing site, a JSON API and some back-end data aggregation and map-generating code. Links and more info can be found at: http://www.everyblock.com/code/
I would recommend reading about what a GIS mapping stack is all about first. Once you understand where GeoDjango fits within this stack, there is a geodjango-basic-apps Google repository that gives some GeoDjango examples. The examples that you find online will swap certain portions of the stack (e.g. Open Layers for Google Maps API or MapServer for GeoServer) but the the design patterns and ideas are very similar if not the same in numerous cases.
