I imported a JSON file into Firebase Realtime db, but cannot see the db schema change as per my JSON. Where will my JSON file data be seen in the Firebase db?
I think you know very well that how to import or export database json.
Now if your database JSON file is correct then it import your json file in the firebase database and automatically create the schema of the database according to the json file...
Otherwise it show you error
check your json file and try again
Here is the comment I'm using to import JSON files to a database:
firebase database:set /location/ file.json -P project-id
You can replace set by push and update depending on what you are trying to achieve (read Firebase CLI references for more options)
Your data will then be uploaded to the "location" you mentioned in the above command.
Note: pay attention to your JSON file as it can contain the location too what will result in having your data uploaded at the wrong location...

I have a Firebase realtime database and would like to import some json. However, to import data, Firebase seems to want to delete all existing data in the database. I don't want to do that, I just want to add data by importing it. Is this possible?
;
It's possible if you write code to read the JSON file and perform the necessary updates against the existing data. There is no automatic process for this.
I have noticed there is a feature in web interface of ArangoDB which allows users to Download or Upload data as JSON file. However, I find nothing similar for CSV exporting. How can an existing Arango DB collection be exported to a .csv file?
If you want to export data from ArangoDB to CSV, then you should use Arangoexport. It is included in the full packages as well as the client-only packages. You find it next to the arangod server executable.
Basic usage:
https://docs.arangodb.com/3.4/Manual/Programs/Arangoexport/Examples.html#export-csv
Also see the CSV example with AQL query:
https://docs.arangodb.com/3.4/Manual/Programs/Arangoexport/Examples.html#export-via-aql-query
Using an AQL query for a CSV export allows you to transform the data if desired, e.g. to concatenate an array to a string or unpack nested objects. If you don't do that, then the JSON serialization of arrays/objects will be exported (which may or may not be what you want).
The default Arango install includes the following file:
/usr/share/arangodb3/js/contrib/CSV_export/CSVexport.js
It includes this comment:
// This is a generic CSV exporter for collections.
//
// Usage: Run with arangosh like this:
// arangosh --javascript.execute <CollName> [ <Field1> <Field2> ... ]
Unfortunately, at least in my experience, that usage tip is incorrect. Arango team, if you are reading this, please correct the file or correct my understanding.
Here's how I got it to work:
arangosh --javascript.execute "/usr/share/arangodb3/js/contrib/CSV_export/CSVexport.js" "<CollectionName>"
Please specify a password:
Then it sends the CSV data to stdout. (If you with to send it to a file, you have to deal with the password prompt in some way.)
I see we can import json files into firebase.
What I would like to know is if there is a way to import CSV files (I have files that could have about 50K or even more records with about 10 columns).
Does it even make sense to have such files in firebase ?
I can't answer if it make sense to have such files in Firebase, you should answer that.
I also had to upload CSV files to Firebase and I finally transformed my CSV into JSON and used firebase-import to add my Json into Firebase.
there's a lot of CSV to JSON converters (even online ones). You can pick the one you like the most (I personnaly used node-csvtojson).
I've uploaded many files (tab separated files) (40MB each) into firebase.
Here are the steps:
I wrote a Java code to translate TSV into JSON files.
I used firebase-import to upload them. To install just type in cmd:
npm install firebase-import
One trick I used on top of all the one already mentioned is to synchronize a google spreadsheet with firebase.
You create a script that upload directly to firebase db base on row / columns. It worked quite well and can be more visual for fine tuning the raw data compared to csv/json format directly.

Here is the fastest way to Import your CSV to Firestore:
Create an account in Jet Admin
Connect Firebase as a DataSource
Import CSV to Firestore

I have json data and i want to import in neo4j.
Export data option will be there in neo4j but how to import JSON data in neo4j.
This is the link of jsfiddle. http://jsfiddle.net/harmeetsingh090/mkdm4t44/
Please help if someone know.
You can use jq to manipulate your data into CSV format and then use the LOAD CSV command.
Neo4J doesn't have a native way of doing this, but there is a plugin for Neo4J called apoc.load.json. You can load data doing the following:
CALL apoc.load.json("file:///<path_to_file>/example.json") YIELD value as document
UNWIND document.root AS root
MERGE (e:ExampleNode {id: root.id})
...
You can find more information on the plug here: https://neo4j-contrib.github.io/neo4j-apoc-procedures/. I've recently used this and found it to be quite intuitive.
As the title goes , I wonder if MongoDB has a data file format to import directly ?I know that mysql has "sql" file format for it to import directly .I am now in a project has the same requirement.Any one can tell me ?
MongoDB can import data using the mongoimport tool from JSON, CSV and TSV data format as you can see here
MongoDB internally represents data as a binary-encoded JSON (BSON), so importing and exporting in JSON format is really fast and intuitive
Of course.Mongodb use mongodump/mongoexport to export the data to outside files and use mongorestore/mongoimport to import data to its databases.more details , just reference to mongodb doc.mongodump and mongoexport ,mongorestore and mongoimport ,do have some differences .More details ,please refer to mongodb doc.
