How do I stop the slider content from hiding? - html

I am currently trying to figure out how to stop slider section content from disappearing. I tried to remove the "data-hide-transition" & "data-hide-delay" from the code, but still no luck.
Below I have included code for the slider section. I would really appreciate, if some could let me know what the problem & solution could be.
<section class="section-header-slider">
<div class="slider-pro-init vertical-slider" data-orientation="vertical" data-buttons-control="true" data-arrows-control="false">

How do I add social media icons side by side in my footer?

I need to add Instagram and LinkedIn icons next to the facebook icon side by side in the footer and for it to be responsive. I have a page builder but this is code, which I am learning but not too familiar with. Attached is a screenshot of the current module and below is the code.
Code:
[vc_row row_type="row" use_row_as_full_screen_section="no" type="grid" text_align="left" css_animation=""]
[vc_column width="1/2"]<p class="footer-title">Our Services</p>
<p class="footer-text">Building Inspections<br>

Asbestos Surveying & Testing<br>

[/vc_column]
[vc_column width="1/2"]<p class="footer-title">Connect with us</p>
<p class="mobile-hide footer-text"><a class="wplightbox" href="#newsletter" data-width="400" data-height="450">Newsletter Signup</a>
<div id="newsletter" style="display: none;">
<div class="lightboxcontainer">
<div class="download_block">

</div>
</div>
</div>

<i class="fa fa-facebook-official social-icons" aria-hidden="true"></i></p>
[/vc_column]

I have tried to make some update but they haven't worked

Why my width-100% not working before 900px

When I am working on responsive then width 100% is not working, when I shrink my website. This problem is in my main section which is available after header section

<h5>Sumanyu Sood - Cohort 1</h5>
<p>Hello, Ocus Before I joined the cohort, I was into UX/UI design. Many of my friends were getting good gigs doing video editing. So, I always used to wonder how I can also get some good gigs. I had some experience with video editing before, but joining the cohort actually made me to sit down and devote time to the video editing. Ask any member of the cohort, The two classes that Martin took for sound design were the best. All three mentors were really helpful, from taking lectures to clearing up doubts in zoom chats. The remedial classes were organized for the beginners to cope up with the softwares, really appreciate that. By the end of the cohort, I'm capable enough to edit different types of videos and I feel I'm applying lot of stuff I learned while designing into video editing I received several placement offers, and Ocus assisted me in sorting out all my queries regarding the placements with a quick personal call. The networks I was able to create through the community are also absolutely priceless, and I'm so happy that Aevy and the team organized this cohort to inspire this community to learn together and form wonderful relationships. I just want to thank you Ocus, Martin and Varun and everyone from the aevy team to make this cohort possible.</p>

<div>
<h5>Dileep Reddy - Cohort 2</h5>
<p>I had the privilege of joining the Cohort and I can say with certainty that it has been a game-changer for me. The network I've gained access to, which includes India's top editors, content creators, and freelancers, has been invaluable. My life took a turn for the better when I was offered an internship at Aevy, made possible through the mentorship of great leaders like Varun Mayya, Kuntur Sir papa ocus, and Martin. Their guidance continues to shape my present and future. This investment has been life-changing and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to take their career to the next level.</p>

<h5>Tushar Agarwal - Cohort 1</h5>
<p>Hey Shirsh! I just wanted to tell you that I got my first stipend as a "video editor" credited today and I really want to thank you mentors and the aevy team for giving this
opportunity to us to learn the skill. TYSM!</p>

<p>I joined this cohort because I just wanted to learn something new, didnt expect it to be so great. I had never edited before on premiere. <p>Hey bro, first of all i would like to thanks you for this cohort, if you wouldn't have called me, to main cohort main part nhi leta but u told me the benefits and all and so i decided to take part. And now yesterday i got hired by a agency, which works with like 15 big FIFA Youtube creators. 2:44 PM First two months will be internship with stipend of 15k and after performing well in intership they'll offer me a full time role with base pay of 30k and with more time and experience it will be 50k and could go upto like 70k too.</p>

<h5>Sumit - Cohort 2</h5>
<p>I'm glad to inform you that, I'm hired by Swarup Rao as a Full time Video Editor at High Income Tribe. Offer letter just came in. I'm going to be moving to Bangalore and be there by Next Sundav. Grateful for all the opportunities and offers you helped me with. Because of which I was able to choose the best. A big big thanks to you, mentors & Especially all Fellow community members from cohort who helped in everything to be the best version of myself. Grateful for Everything ✨🙌</p>

<h5>Harshith Burjurkar - Cohort 2</h5>
<p>This cohort was the YouTube industry break-in for me, it not only turned me into a professional editor but also
taught me how content industry actually works. Before this cohort I struggled with editing as the tutorials on YouTube were unstructured and the Return Of Investment I got from this cohort is at least 100x. Now I am not only good at editing, but also got to know how to
curate a good video, hook the audience better, mimic editing style of top YouTubers. Now I understand the power Visual storytelling which was taught by best in industry mentors Like Ocus, Martin, Varun Kuntoor.</p>

This might not be very useful, but I will still post it here.
Something is overflowing, and if I remember correctly overflows cause scrolling. I have found that it seems to be something about your div element with the class first_section, It's likely the cause is the H1 element within.
Hope this helps a little.
EDIT: It seems that most of the sections overflow.

No background in IE and Firefox

I've recently designed a website and have realised that some of the background of the content, when you scroll down is transparent and so the fixed div that is beneath the content displays on IE and Firefox. Please see my website for a live view of the problem. The HTML is below. Please see below an image of my problem as you can see the text "Get In Touch" is being displayed. I want the background of the content to be above this. Please find attached the fiddle.

I am currently working as an event organiser at <a href=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spire_Healthcare>Spire Healthcare</a>. I hope to integrate events within marketing strategy more. I like to ask the <a href=http://stackoverflow.com/users/1923610/kadeem-laurie target=_blank>right questions</a> and find solutions from different perspectives. My academic interests lie in the regions of city branding and <a href=https://www.academia.edu/14690454/The_Commercial_and_Political_Implications_of_Events>events management.</a> <p>My favourite book is <a href=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Prince>The Prince</a> by Nicolo Machievelli. You have an empty P tag inside your post-container that is causing this gap. Remove it and it will fix everything accross all browsers. Also, once the empty tag is removed, you could give the last P element (with the "My favourite book" text) a padding-bottom of 45px to push the container down correctly.

Social media buttons in set into header

I am designing a blog by modifying an existing Jekyll theme where the header containing the title is one colour and the rest of the page another. I would like to insert a number of round icons (social networks etc.) in a line that are indented into the header. I feel it is easier to explain this with a picture:
where the blue dots are round icons or buttons. How can I achieve this in HTML/CSS?
EDIT:
AwokeKnowing gave me some tools to do what I want but they move when I resize my window.

why use role attribute in html5 [duplicate]

This question already has answers here:
What is XHTML role attribute? What do you use it for?

Closed 8 years ago.
I have created a web page using html5.
I used source code from bootstrap.
For example: role="main", role ="navigation", role = "document" etc.
If I remove these attribute from my code, page didn't any change.
So I want to know: what is the purpose of "role" attribute?

Text, navigation, and tables, oh, my! What's a responsive web designer to do? How can you confine your design to as few major breakpoints as possible? Where and when will you sketching? Is it possible to sketch on actual devices, and what are the accessibility implications of doing so? It provides support for ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) which allows to specify even more semantic richness in documents.
You can add role="search" to your search form, role="banner" to your
masthead, and role="contentinfo" to your page footer. There’s a full
list of values in the ARIA specification at
http://www.w3.org/TR/wai-aria/roles#role_definitions.
Basically you don't have to add them, but its better if you do as it provides more context for your page. More discussed at A List Apart.
The new structural elements in HTML5 will be very useful to assistive technology. Instead of creating “skip navigation” links, all we need to do is use the nav element correctly. This will allow screen reader users to skip past navigation without us having to provide an explicit link.
Twitter Bootstrap uses like <nav role="navigation">. So Bootstrap take consider not only normal browser but also take care of screen reader browsers.
Note: By including Role attribute you are making your website more accessible and its good practice to use this Role attribute.
