I am trying to use wkhtmltopdf to convert a folder on my pc full of .html files to .pdf files, does anyone know the correct cmd command line to use to successfully have wkhtmltopdf locate the folder where the .html files are and convert and output them to .pdf in the folder of my choice on my pc, also is there a wildcard command so I don't have to put the names of each .html as the folder has over 140k html files. Thank you.
I have tweaked some code in a previous post here and used this before:

for %%i in (*.html) do "C:\Program Files\wkhtmltopdf\bin\wkhtmltopdf.exe"
"%%i" "C:\temp\html\done\%%~ni.pdf"
You can run this from a batch file rather than the command prompt. Replace C:\temp\html\done\ with the folder you want the pdf's to be in and run the batch file from the folder in which the original html's are.

I have used Pyinstaller to pack my script as onedir EXE, then installed to Program Files folder. i used this line to save a json to a file:
json.dump(data, open("data_file.json",'w'))
on some computers the file saved to where EXE is which is what i want, but others save it to different locations.
so when i try to get the file using json.load it says not file found:
json.load(open("data_file.json"), encoding="utf-8")
How can i solve this issue so the script only save files to the same EXE directory?
The cause of the problem is related to writing permission on windows. so instead of writing app data to the Program Files folder which is not recommended, you need to write the data to APPDATA folder.
i have used the code posted by giuliano-oliveira and it works perfectly cross platform.

I use Beaker on Windows and start it up with gitbash with the following command:
./beaker.command.bat
If I want to read a .csv or excel file I have to place it in the same directory as the beaker.command.bat.
How can I just the .csv files directly from their original location where the .bkr notebook script and the files are located?
I figured it out, just use the full directory path instead pointing to the file.
I have a scenario where there are two source file ABC.txt and DEF.txt. i want to make sure that if any files are present in that folder with naming convention as ABC.txt, it has to be moved to the different folder prior to loading to the SQL server, and the other (incorrect file) should be moved to a error log folder (separate folder). Can someone advice what task would i use to do that. i tried it using File system task but it just allow you to move or copy files from one location to other prior to loading the file.can someone advice how to i copy that incorrect file to the different folder ( error log folder)?
try to use a bat file.
move ABC.txt /directory
and after
xcopy "source" "destination_err\" /exclude:%temp%\ABC.txt /y

I am using ssis to zip and rename a folder with about 7 files in it. when it zips the folder and renames it the old folder is inside of the zip folder i would just like to have the zip folder with the new name and the files inside of that.
i have tried

Assuming you use "Execute Process Task" for the 7z.exe call:
You have to set F:\Extracts\QCExtracts\QCreports\as WorkingDirectory in the Process section of your Task. This should omit the subdirectory in the zip file.
I have a firebreath plugin with installer.cmake script for Mac. Instead of creating a dmg file it creates a package based on pmdoc folder.

Problem is I want to use FB variables in one of the pmdoc file, for example set title to ${FBSTRING_PluginName} ${FBSTRING_PLUGIN_VERSION} Obviously, copy command just copies the file, but how can I replace variables with their values?
Use cmake's configure_file. This will take an input file and an output file; the output file will have all variables replaced. Lots of examples of this in the firebreath codebase.
