Exponare 5.6 zoom & pan no longer works in embedded browser - gis

Previously our clients work on Exponare 3.5. We didn't have any issue zoom & pan in embedded browser. But after they updating to Exponare 5.6 eventhough map is working fine zoom & pan longer works. Any ideas please.

I have manage to rectify the issue. Issue was due to embedded IE version. Exponare 6 doen't work with IE 11 properly. Client machine was using IE 11. In our installer we have change the registry to use IE 11 as well. If I change the value for my application name in following path "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION" either in "HKLM" or "HKCU" to IE 10 (see the image) it works.

What makes Windows Phone 8 Internet Explorer truncate html?

I'm making a webapp which recently broke on Windows phone 8.
https://marvin-brouwer.github.io/QR-Reader/
I've also tried the app on an Ipod Touch 3rd generation, an iPhone 4s and a Samsum Galaxy. The app works as expected on those devices.
To find out why it doesn't show what I expect I attached to my Nokia Lumia with Visual Studio which revealed the html being cut off.
I tried deminifying my html but it just gets cut off at a different part.
Is there any reason why this might happen? And is there a way to fix this? Or might this be a Windows Phone bug?
You have a html comment before the doctype which causes IE to go into quirks mode.
Also you have a xml comment which should be removed, this is html not xml.

Google Chrome on 1440p Monitor on Windows 7

I basically tried everything and searched everywhere, but I can't make google chrome "scale" at the res of 1440p. All the things (Websites as well as UI) are way to small to read and use comfortably. I tried to edit the registry, enable chrome flags that are apparently not available anymore and modify the shortcut start parameters. What am I doing wrong?
(Windows is scaled to a 125%)
(Firefox, Opera and IE scale perfectly btw)

Black boxes all over Chrome for Windows

I'm trying to understand these strange rendering error boxes that are too big to be ignored. This seems to happen on Chrome in Windows 7 (my testing isn't too elaborate) and nowhere else. When I attempt to inspect, they all disappear. This could be some kind of video card issue as I'm using some pretty advanced CSS3 transitions that could mess up memory. In any case, if someone could offer advice on what I could do to fix, I'm at a loss. The site is www.crane-usa.com
Having the same issue with our site using 21.0.1180.89 and 21.0.1180.79. Problem is in Windows 7, Mac OS X latest, Ubuntu and in Chrome frame running in IE9. IE9 with Chrome frame disabled works fine. The problems are intermittent and unrepeatable. Inspect element removes the problem as you say. I tried disabling GPU compositing via chrome://flags but that didn't fix the issue.
We and our users have only been seeing these issues since approx Aug 27, 2012, 3 days ago. I took a look in crbugs.com and found that this seems to have existed for a couple of weeks already. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=143647

HTML open in IE6,8,9,10 and all other browser but not in IE7 in windows 7 64 bit machine's IETester

I have a strange problem in my machine, my html pages are all opens in IE6,8,9 and 10 in my machine which installed XP but on another machine which I have Windows 7 64 bit OS those HTML pages are not working on IE7. I am using IETester for checking compatibility test.
I can't understand what's the actual problem is, please help.
I think it's ietest bug;If you want you open your file eg: E:\test\test.html,you must type E:\test in ietester Ie7 tab adressbar and push "Enter",and it will show all your file in E:\test, and you type E:\test\test.html in adressbar and push "Enter", and it will open.
And I never test IE7 in IEtester,IE has a devTool ,you just push "F12",just like firebug,it will show.It has IE 7 8 9 modo ,but except IE6.

IE 8 emulation on mac

I currently only have macs for development. My site looks good in the Chrome, safari and firefox but not in IE 8. Normally I'd say too bad, use a proper browser, but that is probably not going to work with my user base. Are there ways to emulate IE 8 on the mac?
BTW if somebody wants to have a look: here is the site.
In IE 8 only the 1 first column is displayed. In chrome or firefox I don't see any warnings, apart from some javascript warnings which I fixed locally (but not on world wide web yet).
Install VirtualBox (it's free and good) or another virtualizer (VMWare, Parallels)
Convert and use one of these Microsoft VirtualPC VHDs
Test
The only way I know to do this is to run Windows with a program like Parallels and use IE that way.
I would recommend running Windows 7 and IE 9. IE 9 is not only a competent web browser, it can render pages as IE 7 or IE 8 by using the included developer tools.
Use VirtualBox or VMware with a VM from Microsoft: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/vms/
"Test Microsoft Edge (EdgeHTML) and versions of IE8 through IE11 using free virtual machines you download and manage locally."
Old answer from 2012:
There is CrossOver (proprietary $51). It "allows many Windows-based applications to run on Mac OS X using a compatibility layer". It is based on Wine.
It works OK (JavaScript + Flash). They provide automatic installation for Internet Explorer 6 and 7.
For Internet Explorer 8 one more step is required to get what they call a CrossTie.
You can also try WineBootler (free and based on Wine too) but it does not work very well (no JavaScript support).
