Displaying a scrolling image inside an iphone border - html

Basically, I want to display a screenshot of a website inside an iphone frame. And I also want this to be responsive.
I have a rough idea but wouldn't know the best way of positioning the image, I'd probably be using the 'overflow-y' css property and set it to scroll, and set the height, so that my long image will scroll inside the iphone frame, however my problem is getting the image to be the right size of the iphone. Is this some javascript witchcraft I'm yet to discover? thanks!
P.S. Don't say that 'this has been asked before and link this because none of the examples actually work so I can't understand it, and don't know if they're trying to achieve the same thing.

Would leave this as a comment, but not enough rep.
You should probably just try it out for yourself and then post your code if you're having any issues.
If you really have nowhere to start go to codepen and search for 'iphone'.

Iframe is wrong displayed ONLY on FIREFOX

Im havin a big problem.
Im programming a website for a company in germany.
Since there are so many sites on the page i took an iframe in my index.html file instead of using a div tag because this would need a lot more time since i need to write the div stuff on every page.
Every Browser like IE,Chrome,Opera and also Safari shows the website like i want it to be shown.
But Firefox shows the iframe part in a small window in the left upper side of the window.
So you cant see any content or even 100x bigger than normally and in a quite small window.
So do I have to change anything in my code or do i need to add something?
The bigger problem is actually that the man who is able to start the server doesnt want to start it for let the website goin online because that doesnt work on firefox.
He explained the problem to me that way. but my program (mirabyte) shows everything in the right way (ALSO FIREFOX) so what can I do now because I need to let him try every small change i will do. So it would be nice if anyone does know the EXACT answer because he or she already had the problem.
Any ideas?
Thank you so much
Sasse
Make sure that if you have the iframe in any sort of container, that container also has the applicable height attribute. Also make sure that the iframe height is applied to both the HTML and the body tags.
Beyond that, we would have to see the part of your code where you're declaring the iframe to say anything more specific.

HTML Wrapper Not Properly Filling Page

I'm putting together a small site for a friend (I'm not really that much of an expert as you can probably tell!).
We're experimenting with some design ideas and have come to a bit of a block.
The page in question is: http://westleemusic.co.uk/concept/epdownload.php
Basically when the window is resized so that the bottom of the viewport is high than the bottom of the content (in this case it's the "iPhone Users Click Here To Download"), the translucent background wrapper decides that it no longer wants to fill the page.
I've been sat here for a few hours trying to figure it out and I'm stumped. As I said previously, I'm a n00b when it comes to this stuff so I'm hoping one of you masters can help!
Let me know if you need more info!
Many thanks
Change the height of wrapper to auto. This will cause it to fill the entire screen even when you start scrolling.

Responsive Background Image

I am currently working on a project that involves a background image that needs to be linked specifically to an element within a container div.
The link is: http://idearevolution.ca/clients/jab/
The challenge I am running into is that as I resize my screen the green circle doesn't stay behind the guy. I've run into issues with responsive background images having to work with elements within a contained area in the past, but I've never been happy with my solutions.
The last thing I tried was using Sass to run a loop, adding a media query to update the position every 10 - 20 pixels. I don't like this solution however because of the code bloat it generates.
I am wondering if anyone has run into this issue before and if so, how do you go about resolving it? I've tried a few things but I'm just not happy with any of the solutions.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Andrew
Semantics would fix this problem best.
The semantics of using an image is this:
If the Image does not add to the content and explanation of the site,
do not use the image.
So, in truth, this image looks like it should only be part of the design.
Therefore, use the CSS3 Feature of Multiple Backgrounds.

CSS Layout Ajustment

I´ve recently started to program all my layouts in tableless CSS, but still prefering the old tables style. Much faster. Anyway, I´m stuck in this layout that is almoust finished, but I need help to one minor detais, which I can´t manage to fix.
Here is the test address:
http://www.syncsystem.com.br/
As you can see, the design and background are almoust complete. Later I´m gonna put the rest of the stuff in, like links and so on. The problem is at the bottom. The ideia behind this is that the background texture stay fixed, as is is. But there´s a white space at the bottom which I can´t get rid of...can anyone help or give a hint?
Thanks,
I'm not sure if that's what you are talking about, but the footer's background image itself has some space in it below the black part.
And the footer has the same height as it's background image, so the whole image is being shown.
Next time use some web development tool such as Firebug, or use a native one pressing F12 in Firefox or Chrome. It will help you quickly analyze the page element's properties

iframe resize issue in firefox

i know this is so basic ,its so basic that it hurts me to ask this question but the issue is starting to make my hair too fall out lol.
i'm making a liquid website so everything resizes,so far so good...my page has a couple of iframes ,they will resize just great in i.e using % for height and width but when it comes to firefox only the width will resize and not the height ,the frame ends up pushing over my tables and making the whole thing look wrong
does anyone have a fix/solution to this please.
thanks to everyone that tried to help ,it was a bit vauge i managed to solve it in the end simply by
putting the iframe i wanted inside a layer/div set the layer to absolute and size it in % and then add the iframe inside the layer worked a treat for all browsers.
