I am searching for a specific keyword in google and from different computers I am getting different results. On one computer, the website I was expecting for is the 3rd on the first page and on other computer, the website is not listed at all in the first page.
Is there some cache that I need to clear in order to have the search returning unique results on all computers?

Google's Personalized Search feature uses search history to personalize your search results. Since all searches on Google Search are associated with a browser cookie record, previous search results and visited websites can be used to provide more relevant results.
See "Step 3" of Google's Search and Browse Privately support page to turn off result customization.

If I am correct, your problem could be in the URL itself. This totally depends on the OS. (this is assuming you search is "keywords" and your OS is Ubuntu -->)If the OS'es are different, then it should be the client part in "https://www.google.com/search?q=keywords&client=ubuntu" (there are more parts to the url, but that's all i need to explain it. Just try taking out the client part from the URL.

I am facing one issue on chrome search engine. Whenever I searched something it shows ads urls why?
Please check below the image. Can I add an ad blocker extension?
These 3 steps should solve your problem:
1. Download adwcleaner from here https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/ and run it. After clean, restart PC.
2. Download free trial of Malewarebytes from here https://pl.malwarebytes.com/ and perform FULL SCAN.
3. Download HitmanPro from here https://www.hitmanpro.com/en-us/hmp.aspx and perform FULL SCAN. This is not freeware, but 30 days are free. Restart PC.
After these steps, your browser should be clean.
And, one for-future advice - before you will download something from the Internet, or install, read carefully while downloading/installing. Problem of your kind are usually because of installing some freeware software with hidden aggrements to install web browser's extensions, which are later hard to remove.

I resigstered a new domain visitsoonvalley.com but now I can see that there is a sub-domain support.visitsoonvalley.com which I didn't create and I can't find in the cpanel too. This page is showing ads and the first advertisement is of the company that I registered my domain with. Is it possible that they created this sub domain? Are they allowed to do this without notifying me?
UPDATE: I just checked going to help.visitsoonvalley.com and same result. Why are these sub domains existing?!
You cannot register subdomains. You cannot really create them. You can only use them.
Most likely there is a "wildcard DNS resolution" for your domain. That would be something your provider has done and it actually does make some sense, since most people want that. Why don't you simply ask them? They will probably remove it from your DNS settings if you ask them.
A "wildcard DNS resolution" means that all DNS resolution requests to hostnames within your domain are resolved to the same IP address, without any specific rule existing. So it is a kind of "fallback".
Why there are ads shown in your page is nothing we can say. Might be some default content your provider puts in as a placeholder until you create content. Or they simply created a DNS resolution as a palceholder until you name an IP address the domain should be resolved to. Again: why don't you ask your provider? You pay them for their service, so usually that means the have to give support...
Certainly that is not exactly a "nice" behavior if that really is not mentioned anywhere in their policy. But on the other hand it does no harm and is only temporary...

An 101 question about whireshark:
I first flushed my DNS and then started capturing my interface with wireshark.
Then I opened google chrome and searched for a webpage.
Finally, wireshark except the first query about the url makes some additional queries for related names/urls.
for example :
Searched for www.aueb.gr and dns makes an additional query for art.aub.gr.
Why is this happening?
Thank you in advance.
Try using console application for DNS resolution (for example nslookup) during wireshark capture, it should give you exactly what you want. Web browsers or other applications can try to resolve some additional DNS entries, which may be the cause of the issue you are seeing.
For example:
nslookup www.aueb.gr
As for the behavior of chrome, web browsers will try to fetch additional resources (like images, cascading style sheets, scripts) in order to be able to display the web page correctly. If it happens that the resource is hosted in some other domain (like art.aueb.gr), the web browser will have to first resolve that domain name - and that is why you see additional DNS queries.

The numbers on online dashboard differs from the downloaded CSV in Google Analytics [closed]

I have a "very simple" problem.. When i make a custom report in a filtered view in my Analytics account, the numbers i see on the online dashboard differs from the ones, that are downloaded directly from that report into Excel .csv.. We do cross-domain tracking, and the purpose of the filtered view is to see the domains in the view (basic, suggested by analytics help).
What could be the problem? Do any of you suffer from the same problem? This is very annoying, because we can't trust our numbers..
Thank you in advance,
Adam
Your issue may be sampleing level
samplingLevel=DEFAULT
Optional.Use this parameter to set the sampling level (i.e. the number of sessions used to calculate the result) for a reporting query. The allowed values are consistent with the web interface and include: •DEFAULT — Returns response with a sample size that balances speed and accuracy.
•FASTER — Returns a fast response with a smaller sample size.
•HIGHER_PRECISION — Returns a more accurate response using a large sample size, but this may result in the response being slower.
If not supplied, the DEFAULT sampling level will be used.See the Sampling section for details on how to calculate the percentage of sessions that were used for a query.
There is no way to test if this is your problem, because at this time you cant set sampling level when extracting as CSV nor can you set it in the query explorer. But I wrote an application that will extract information into CSV and allows you to select sampling level. Daimto - Google Analytics Export you can use that to test if this is the problem or not.

With the myriad of sites available like sourceforge, github, berlios, rubyforge and many others for hosting open-source projects, I've been wondering if there is a specialised search engine out there that catalogues all the projects available on these different sites.
I'm not talking about a search engine to search actual source code like koders or google codesearch, but something that catalogues the projects themselves.
An example would be if I was searching for an open source file comparison/merge utility. I might put "file compare" into this search engine and get a bunch of matching projects back. I might even be able to narrow the search based on operating system, implementation language, license or other criteria.
The closest I can think of is freshmeat, although in that case project owners have to submit the information to freshmeat, it doesn't spider out the info itself. Krugle does have a "Open Source Projects" tab, but whenever I click on it the page reloads, so that's not real helpful...
There is http://www.ohloh.net In a wiki-like manner, somebody has to submit a information about a project. Then their crawler takes over and presents data about the project.
