I have a simple '.full-width' class that I'm adding and removing to a <nav> when the user scrolls past a banner. The goal is to gradually expand or shrink the <nav> when the user scrolls above or below the banner. As you can see from the example CSS, the nav has the transition property set.
For some reason, the <nav> is snapping back on the left side when the bar expands. The bar still transitions correctly on the right side, and shrinking the bar works perfectly.
Interestingly, this appears to work fine with Bootstrap 3, but something in Bootstrap 4 is causing the navbar to snap.
Anyone see something I'm missing?

The issue is on first page, in second column i get a weird spacing at top, happens on ly first page. And i also notice some elements get weird spacing in between, usually titles.

I want the Page h1s to be at the top of each colomn regardless of how much text is in each of the colomn. And also I don't want any text overlapping into a foreign colomn. Does anyone know how i can do it?

Let's say your screen height is 75px. On wide screen position fixed works because 50px is less than 75 so you can see whole content. But with narrow screen you loose some content - position fixed is not the solution :(
You will need to apply position:fixed to the short div or the green div so that it always stays in front when you scroll. From what i understood, i made a sample to show you how position:fixed works. You can make changes in the div's class to change to what you want if i did not define the dimensions properly. Run the snippet to check.

I have updated the code. Check now. You have to fix the height of the short div and make it's content to scroll if it exceeds that height. that way the div remains fixed while able to scroll the content in and it does not hide the other page items on small screens. Hope this helps.
