Wordpress menu gets unlinked from theme randomly. - wordpress-theming

I have a wordpress site.
The main nav menu keeps completely disappearing and this seems to be happen randomly.
I have to go back into appearance > menus > manage locations > and reassign the menu to its theme location.
It's happened about 3 times now and I need to figure out how to stop it happening.
Has anyone fixed this before? When I google this problem all that comes up is posts abouts single menu items disappearing but not about it unlinking from the theme.

How to get a multi-level menu work in hugo with theme "dot"?

I'm currently building a web site with hugo using the theme "dot" and having trouble regarding the menu.
Now I want to have a menu at the top of the page with main menu points and opening sub menus when hovering over the main entries. So far, so good no problem, that is easy using the config file defining the menu in there. But, the main menu points are not clickable when naming the ".md" files after their meaning. When I name the main entry points "index.md" in their specific folder then I get other problems like not properly working sub menu entries.
An appropriate option would also be to have a main menu at the top of the page and when clicking on an item apart from the contents of that specific main menu item, a side navigation menu opens up and shows the menu items of that specific main menu (not just all menu items). I don't know how to implement this as the specific content pages are ".md" files.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Best regards,
Jochen

Menu links can be clicked but do not load

This site is on Shopify and the main menu links are not working consistently.

No console errors.
Links lower in the page work, but not main menu ones.
Any suggestions on how I can identify the issue?

Joomla 3.8.8 sub menu items not displaying on hover on homepage only

I have been ripping my hair out trying to figure this out. So far I have spent about 6 hours Googling and trying different options with no results.
Here is the link to the site:
http://www.postbeam.com.au
I inherited this site so I don't know exactly how it was built. I have updated to Joomla 3.8.8 from 3.7 and updated the JT3 framework plugin. Since then the sub-menu items will not display only on the homepage. The menu works perfectly on every other page.
If you look on the homepage the menu that contains "Building Materials","Energy Efficiency" etc, these all contain sub menu items but the do not display on hover.
If you go to the about page here:
http://www.postbeam.com.au/about-us/about-post-beam
You will see how the menu should function.
I have tried the "rebuild" option in the menu admin panel. I have done the extension > database fix as well. There is no javascript error in the console that I can see. I have Googled the hell out of this to try and find a solution with no luck.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
It could be a problem with your custom template but first I'd suspect a module or plugin that is interfering with the menu, but isn't published or active on the about us page. Unpublish them and republish them one by one to find the source. Create a backup before you do anything, use Akeeba backup.
Note that your home page took >46 seconds to load for me. That me be a symptom or an entirely different problem to solve.

HTML CSS Drop Down Menu

I have a react website that has a custom drop down menu in it that I am doing for a bootcamp. It is supposed to look like the yelp reviews section. The menu almost works correctly but when it drops down the items the whole top section resizes itself to display the menu instead of just displaying the drop down menu on top of what is already there. I tried display, zindex, positioning absolute and relative css but nothing seems to work. Can someone please help me with this?
The github repo for this is https://github.com/hrsf93-welp/welp-review but does not contain the mongo db data.

In DNN 9, Pages Move to End of Menu After Page Settings are Updated

Recently began developing with DNN 9.01.01. I've noticed that any time I update the page settings for a given page, it moves the location to the end of the menu for the level that it's in. For example, I always have a Home page that's the leftmost menu item. After I save the Page Settings, it becomes the rightmost menu item. If it's the at the top of a submenu, it gets sent to the bottom.
I'm not sure if this is a Razor issue, an issue with the skins I've been developing, or if this is an issue with DNN 9. This issue does occur when using the default skin.
Any help is much appreciated.
I can confirm that problem.
I didn't see it in Jira so I reported it. It's DNN Platform DNN-10495, or https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/browse/DNN-10495?filter=-4
