phpMyAdmin gives export.php instead of database sql dump - mysql

Environment
Wamp server 2.5 x64 (MySQL 5.6.17, phpmyadmin4.1.14) on Windows 10 Enterprise x64 (Fresh installation, no major changes since yesterday total installation)
Full control access to C:\wamp\tmp\ folder for windows everyone group, and the folder is not read-only
Problem
When I try to export my database using Export tab, under my database page, It gives me the export.php file, the body part of which is like this:
<body>
<h1>phpMyAdmin - Error</h1>
<p>export.php: Missing parameter: export_type<a href="./doc/html/faq.html#faqmissingparameters" target="documentation"><img src="themes/dot.gif" title="Documentation" alt="Documentation" class="icon ic_b_help" /></a><br /></p>
</body>
But, I expect the .sql dump file!
My effort
I googled for export.php: Missing parameter: export_type with no success.
I also visited http://localhost/phpmyadmin/doc/html/faq.html#faqmissingparameters for any useful notes, with no success.
In config.inc.php, the $cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] directive is empty.
In php.ini the arg_separator.input directive has value ;&.
Edit
Screenshot added, right before pressing Go button

I tried to use my browser's (Google Chrome 47.0.x.x) console to see If there is something wrong with it and I noticed this warning there:
Resource interpreted as Document but transferred with MIME type text/x-sql
Then I tried disable my browser's extensions one-by-one where I found this extension was the cause:
Free Download Manager Chrome extension (1.0.23)
I disabled it and now everything is fine.

I had a similar issue on a CentOS Cloud Server with Magento CE installed. My selection was to Export all tables, SQL format, Save to Output File, Add "Drop Table..", Add "IF NOT EXISTS".
Instead of dropping a .sql file, it always dropped a "sql" file without any extension and regardless any filename I was choosing. Inside that "sql" file there was the html source of the current phpmyadmin page!
I solved the issue by uncommenting and increasing the variable "max_input_vars" inside php.ini to 3000 rather than 1000.
Hope this helps!

I was trying to export my Magento database. And phpmyadmin instead of dropping a .sql file, retured a sql named file with no extension. Finally, I solved the problem by navigating to the php.ini file and uncommenting the "max_input_vars" variable and increasing its value. Don't forget to restart your xampp/wamp server after making the changes in php.ini.

Check up "Settings"(from main menu),then "Export" tab. "Save as file" checkbox should be checked.
When you setting up the export options, choose:
"Custom - display all possible options" radio button instead "Quick".
Set "Save output to file" radiobutton in "Output" section.
Set "Format" dropdown box to "SQL".
Then press "Go" button.

I suppose you are running http://localhost/phpmyadmin/export.php on Google Chrome. Switch to some other browser (Ex: Microsoft Edge) and then run http://localhost/phpmyadmin/export.php. Now export the database as usual.

I got same problem, but I solved it after increasing the Disk Space Usage of website.I don't know your probblem will be solved or not but i solve by increasing Disk Space Usage

Hi select custom display option when exporting database and uncheck option
Dump TIMESTAMP columns in UTC (enables TIMESTAMP columns to be dumped and reloaded between servers in different time zones)
This will resolve the issue.

MySQL is only downloading in zip format. How to fix it? Or how to open?

Yesterday I went to download MySQL, and I managed to install it, when the download finished, I double-clicked and the program opened normally. I created an account just for testing, so I didn't save the password, so I deleted MySQL to create another account... However when I go to download, now only the option to download in Compressed (zipped) Folder format appears, and I have no idea how to open any type of download in that format, I've tried following the steps taught in the videos and I couldn't either.
Is there a way to fix this? Because yesterday MySQL was downloading normally (as in the image below) and I had no difficulty opening it.
But now the download is just like this (as in the image), and I can no longer open the program.
Note: I use the 64 bit version of Windows 10.
I assume you're downloading MySQL community server from it's official page here: https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/
If you are, then you can see in the page there are 3 blue buttons
I assume that you are downloading from the "Other Downloads" section (no.2 in image).
could you share the link to the source where you downloaded MySQL?
Usually you should be able to unzip the contents of any .zip file by right clicking the archive in a explorer and choosing extract (not sure what the exact buttons in Windows are called since I don't use it).
Maybe your file got corrupted while you downloaded it (connection issues), have you tried re-downloading it?
I've just searched for the download and started it from the official website
(https://cdn.mysql.com//Downloads/MySQLInstaller/mysql-installer-community-8.0.32.0.msi). This starts the download of an .msi file in my case. Can you confirm that this still starts the download of a .zip file?

'gitlab-runner' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

I'm using Windows 10 and installed gitlab-runner using the Gitlab's doc.
After a successful installation and registration, I try to leave the folderI used to install (C:\Gitlab-Runner in my instance) and try to run gitlab-runner. I get the response: 'gitlab-runner' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
I am able to run without issue in the C:\Gitlab-Runner folder, but nowhere else.
Based on the documentation and tutorials I looked at, I wouldn't expect this behavior; am I supposed to?
Did you check to ensure that it was added to The windows environment. You will likely need to update the path variable to include the path that you are using to run the command.
On windows, you add to the PATH variable with the following steps (yanked from google search page):
On the Windows taskbar, right-click the Windows icon and select System.
In the Settings window, under Related Settings, click Advanced system settings. ...
On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables. ...
Click New to create a new environment variable.
Once you've added C:/Gitlab-runner/ to PATH, I believe you should be able to invoke with gitlab-runner.
The only thing I'll add is that, for setting PATH, the last step above is most likely unnecessary, as there will already be a variable named PATH with a list of directories stored in it. Just click EDIT and add your directory to the end of the list. Be sure to add the separator that is used for the others (I believe it's a semicolon on Windows...)
Solved. I need to call C:/Gitlab-runner/gitlab-runner rather than just gitlab-runner in other directories.
Please make sure the name of the exe is correct in the folder C:\GitLab-Runner
In my situation, I have the gilab-runner.exe.exe, there was an extra .exe in the file name though its not showing in the directory.

Console command for opening files inside already opened project in PhpStorm

I've faced the problem. I use PhpStorm to edit files from FTP server using WinSCP client. In WinSCP client I've set command for using external editor. So, when I try to open php-file from remote FTP server WinSCP downloads this file in temporary file and open it using command provided by me - "C:\Program Files\JetBrains\PhpStorm 2020.1.1\bin\phpstorm64.exe" "!.!"
Earlier, when I used PhpStorm 2019 or 2018, it opened file in already opened window/project. But when I've upgraded to PhpStorm 2020, it started to open file from FTP in separate windows. It's so annoying and some functionality doesn't work in such case (auto suggestions and others).
I know that I can use built-in remote files browser within PhpStorm to view and edit remote files, but I accustomed to use separate FTP client for such purposes.
Does somebody know how to fix this problem? What console command should I use so as to open separate file in already opened window/project?
It's a LightEdit mode: https://blog.jetbrains.com/idea/2020/04/lightedit-mode/
Since 2020.2 you can use the -p (--project) option instead to force opening files in already opened project windows. For example idea -p myfile.txt. IDEA-237118
You can also permanently disable that mode by following these steps:
Invoke Help | Find Action... (or via Search Anywhere: use Double Shift and switch to Actions tab)
Search for Registry... action and select it
Once in the Registry dialog locate light.edit.file.open.enabled entry (just start typing, speed search will narrow it down) and set it to false (uncheck the box).
Not sure if IDE restart is needed (probably not).

SSLKEYLOGFILE environment variable doesn't populate any text file

My operating system is Windows 10 64 bits. I use the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome.
I want to save the pre-master keys in order to use them with WireShark.
For this, I have found many tutorials that all recommend using the SSLKEYLOGFILE environment variable.
However, no matter the path I put in this variable, no file is being created by Firefox (normal and developer editions) or Chrome. This is true even when I restart those browsers or the operating system. This is also true when I clear the cache on the browsers.
I found an alternative way of setting the SSLKEYLOGFILE variable with Chrome by launching the browser with the following argument:
--ssl-key-log-file=PATH
And while this argument does create a log file, it is never populated. It remains completely empty.
What makes this problem even more annoying is that I don't know if there's any debug log that would at least let me know what's happening.
Anyone have ideas on how to solve this issue?
Verified in both Chrome and Firefox
Windows 10 64bit [Version 10.0.17763.379]
I would not use the --ssl-key-log-file flag with Chrome. In my testing, it does not have an effect.
Steps to get SSL keylog file
Change your directory to one that you or your programs have access to. I am using the Desktop folder.
C:\> cd $HOME\Desktop
Set the SSLKEYLOGFILE variable. This sets it for the user (HKCU). To set it for the machine (HKLM), add the /m flag to the end of the command.
PS C:\Users\rj\Desktop> SetX SSLKEYLOGFILE "$(get-location)\ssl.log"
Verify that the variable has been set in a separate powershell window (SetX does not apply to the current window).
PS C:\Users\rj\Desktop> Get-ChildItem ENV: | findstr SSLKEYLOGFILE
SSLKEYLOGFILE C:\Users\rj\Desktop\ssl.log
You can also verify that SSLKEYLOGFILE is a user variable by going to the Control Panel > System and Security > System > Advanced System Settings > Advanced tab > Environment Variables > User Variables. You should see a listing like the powershell example where the value is a directory.
Open Chrome/Firefox and go to an https website like https://stackoverflow.com.
You should see an ssl.log show up on your desktop.

2018-08-17, Wireshark Bugzilla, Add TLS 1.3 support: Has good test pcap/SSLKEYLOGFILE contents for TLS1.3 (See Comment 83)
You mentioned that you are using Wireshark. If you using it to export a file from a TLS-encrypted stream in a capture, this article may help you.
One thing I ran into is: Chrome doesn't always fully close when you close the window. Sometimes it stays open in the background. Use the Windows Process Explorer to list all the processes and make cure Chrome is closed. Also, after restarting Chrome, you can double click on it in Process Explorer and select the Environment tab to list all the variables set in it's environment. Make sure SSLKEYLOGFILE is shown in that list. Then Chrome will be sending keys to the specified file.
First off all the problem is that the browsers are protected better and that flaw is patched, thats why you cant capture no ssl. I dont know the details. But chrome with --no-sandbox(linux) option on ,when running will enable you to capture ssl/tls key without any issues from the first try, so you can play with decription of packets. Never tried on windows btw..
This worked for me...
set the SSKEYLOG env: variable as normal in Linux.
just point it to your pefererd save location of the sslkey.log
windows system/advance/env vars/user variables.
add SSLKEYLOGfile with the path to your preferred save location C:/user/sslkey.log
close and your done here.
NSS_ALLOW_SSLKEYLOG=1 is what's missing from the Booleans in Firefox's advanced options.
its been also removed from the general release but is still in the dev ops version. just not listed.
download and install the dev ops version of Firefox
open a terminal start it from its exe if on Linux.
windows just open it from the icon.
go to the about:config
create a new Boolean with NSS_ALLOW_SSLKEYLOG=1 and set it to true.
quit
now create a new symbolic/icon link to the new dev version fire fox version
when you run Firefox from the terminal in Linux the sskeylog should be created and start populating.
run it from the task bar icon in Linux and it doesn't make or update the keylog (just in case you dont want it populating every time you open the browser).
in windows, you will have to disable the env var or it will keep populating every time you open any browser that supports sslkey logging.
on that note opera and vivaldi should work with no changes to the advanced option.
lastly.. open wireshark go to
edit/preferences/protocols/tls
and put the path to the sslkey.log in the pre master secret log box.
click ok.
close everything..
start Wireshark
start your browser (from terminal in linux).
you should start seeing sslkeylog start populating and see extra options for decryption in the tabs of Wireshark.
have fun :)
1st solution:
Restart Chrome
2nd solution:
Use Firefox

weblogic 12.2.1 config wizard C:\Program is not recognized error

Running the Config Wizard via the start menu (Windows 7) simply fails. Running it from the command prompt shows the infamous
'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file
I know this is due to the space in "Program Files" (dir C:\pro* /x doesn't show C:\Progra~1).
The solution I've found for this is to replace C:\Program Files\... with "C:\Program Files\...".
My question is this:
Since the WebLogic config wizard runs from config.cmd, which is loaded with variables for path names, do I have to update Windows system environment variable PATH and put quotes around all path names that have a space (since I don't know what WebLogic is looking for)?
Update:
I tried this and received Files was unexpected at this time. Which made me think I was off with the quotes, but they are paired properly around every path with C:\Program Files. A search on this error resulted with this advice...basically the double quotes are the cause.
If the lack of quotes causes the first problem, and the presence of quotes causes the second problem, what to do? It's a loop...
I installed another JDK in a location with no spaces (still got the error because I didn't change any environment variables because work site will change them back, breaking things).
The install docs in chapter 4 say:
To begin domain configuration, navigate to the
ORACLE_HOME/oracle_common/common/bin directory and start the
Configuration Wizard.
On UNIX operating systems:
./config.sh
On Microsoft Windows operating systems:
.\config.cmd
Which implied at a command prompt (to me anyways). I was reading another site for help and the guy said to update config.cmd to point it to new JDK location instead of JAVA_HOME.
Instead of right clicking on config.cmd to edit it I double clicked it and lo and behold...this nice domain creator GUI opened up where I could specify which JDK to use. Done! No errors...
If that little tidbit were in the docs it would've save me a lot of time and frustration. And no, I'm not a server admin type, just a dev who needed a local web server for testing purposes.
I hope this helps someone.
