I am developing Win 8.1 Store App, I am integrating the pubCenter Ads as instructed by Microsoft in this link pubCenter Integration with Visual Studio 2013 - Windows 8.1, but on clicking OK on Step 10, this error occur. I have properly signed-in with my Microsoft account. How to get rid of this.
see the pic.
That's because you cannot create new application and adunit in PubCenter for now. PubCenter has been integrated into Windows Dev Center.
Note: You will no longer be able to create ad units or new app promotion campaigns in pubCenter. For information on how to create ad units in Dev Center, see Monetize with ads. For information on how to create app promotion campaigns in Dev Center, see Create an ad campaign for your app.
Please see https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/mt186437.aspx for details.

I have recently finished working on an App for Windows Phone 8.1 and 10 - I have successfully been able to deploy it on both type of phone by using Windows Phone Application Deployment 8.1 tool.
I am now trying to load the app into the store and create a flight package so my develop phone should be able to see, download and install the app from the Microsoft Store on the device.
I am having 2 'problems' right now:
+ the App is not showing on the Store
+ using the app URL from the store, I am able to find the app but it is only available for downloading on the Windows 10 phone and it comes back unavailable on the Windows Phone 8.1
Here is some screenshots which should give an idea of my set ups:
Apart from the above, I would like to mention that I have added my Microsoft account to the devices so ideally I should be able to see the App!
Let me know guys if it makes sense and if you need further details to help me
Thanks
Like this many desktop software have external link to their download pages in Windows Store. So we bought access to Windows Store and until Windows Store allows desktop applications (which will happen with Windows 10 I think) we want to have link to our download page. But we can't figure out how to publish download link only. Because it require package which require Metro project in Visual Studio I think? So are we need to create empty project in Visual Studio or something like that?
See Windows Store onboarding for desktop apps for the official docs and step-by-step
As a basic summary, you'll need to create a desktop dashboard account and certify the app by passing the desktop Windows App Certification Kit tests
You'll also need a Windows Store company account. This will let you log into the Windows Store dashboard and submit the certified app for submission.
Add in the metadata (name, description, link, etc.) and submit!
We paid a developer account in Windows Store (enterprise).
We created a Cordova 3.7 app for Windows Phone 8.1 and even we could test directly on a phone with Windows 8.1 from Visual Studio 2013 and everything worked in the hardware.
therefore, We begin to fill in the details for the App We need to publish in the store.
There is a section in which we are asked to upload a packaged App so here We have the chance of selecting it on the disk.
Our problem is We don't know how to create the pack and where in the disk Visual Studio left it.
We started to search in msdn.microsoft.com and these are the ideas we could get (but still couldn't make a pack):
1) Every where in MSDN they talk about a STORE option on Visual Studio. We can see this option in the ppal menu but all its options are disabled.
But in a forum, after searching a lot, We could figure out that this is normal for Cordova Apps on Visual Studio 2013 because they are considered as Silverlight Apps.
Then We find out again a doc in MSDN about uploading Silverlight Apps to Win Store. They say this kind of Apps must be packed and uploaded by hand.
2) So We focused in find out how to prepare a Windows Phone Silverlight 8.1 app for publishing.
This is a link in MSDN :http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/dn655122(v=vs.105).aspx
But a new problem comes out, We don’t have any Package.appxmanifest.xml file in our project but only have aWMAppManifest.xml file.
We finally find out only Windows Phone 8.1 projects on Visual Studio have the Package.appxmanifest.xml file and it seems that my Cordova Project was generated like a kind of a Win Phone 8.0, what is not that bad because we want our App to be supported by Windows P. 8.0 and 8.1 devices.
But at the end of all this journey, we are stuck at the first step again. So we realized we don't know how pack a Windows Phone 8 (Cordova) App in order to be uploaded to Windows Store.
How and where Visual Studio 2013 make the pack and what is the extension name of this file.
The App, as I said, is ok and can be deployed and executed OK in a real phone from Visual Studio (run button)
Sorry, We know the question is large but We wanted to clear what We had reached so you know What We are asking and What We could have done bad just in case.
Thanks in advance, We think a lot of people could profit of the answer of experts in this matter because a summary is needed, the info in MSDN seem disperse.
You cannot upload a Windows Phone Silverlight xap to the Windows Store, only to the Windows Phone store. To upload to the Windows Phone store you won't need the Package.appxmanifest for a Windows Phone 8 app (only for a Windows Phone 8.1 app).
You'll upload the xap file created when you build for release with the normal build process. You don't need to do any further modifications for a Silverlight app.
You can create either Windows Phone or Windows Store apps with Visual Studio Tools for Apache Cordova
Use Project->Store->Create App Packages.. from visual studio menu.

I'm using MonoGame to create a Windows Store game based on sprites but when I right-click my project and try to add pubCenter integration in as a connected service it doesn't have the option to add any connected services.
That being said, how would you add pubCenter Windows Ads in to MonoGame applications?
I am using Windows 8.1 and Visual Studio 2013, with the latest Advertising SDK extension installed correctly on my machine.
Whoops, looks like I forgot to set my project's Target Platform Version to Windows 8.1! Hope this helps other people out; the latest build (as of right now) enables your platform to only Windows 8 by default.
Could you please guide me on how to deploy windows phone 8 apps on other windows phone for testing without phone developer account or any other means . Just deploy the .XAP in any other windows phone and test or for giving demo.
there can be many ways to deploy app on phone..
1. by launching a beta version of the app and giving microsoft account of the people you want to send it. it will be a 90 days trial and then app will be removed. while this you can also update your app for testers.
by using SD card. put your xap in sd card and then deploy on phone ...

Take a look at this article, it describes the process. You need to register the phone, this process is now free. After the phone has been registered you can deploy apps to it using Visual Studio.
