Apple Watch OS 2.0 Gyroscope api availability - xcode7

I was wondering if a Apple Developer can clarify whether or not, the API will be available.
There is a bit of speculation going around on the internet and no one has seemed to answer the question.
More or less Apple Watch OS 2.0 has not been the easiest beta to work with or even the release version does not even appear to work well.

They are not available it is unknown whether or not they will available.

They are now available using watchOS 3

Best way to test a web application for multiple versions of browser using Selenium automation?

I have been doing a research for quite a sometime but unable to find a good solution - therefore thought of asking on StackOverflow.
I have automated the testing using Selenium Webdriver for different browser but lately I had seen there were some issues which came for Chrome's older version - now, the question I had was if there is any way through which I could run the script for different versions of browsers e.g. test should run on Chrome 48 - Chrome 59 (covering majors versions only).
The two solution I got from my research was -
1.
Overriding the chrome binary location like the below link:
https://stackoverflow.com/a/16562068/6738995
I then started my research on how to download the binaries for Chrome and I found the official repo also - http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-snapshots/index.html
2. Use Selenium Webdriver on cloud solution provider like BrowserStack or SauceLabs etc who provides multi-version-browser support
Now, I want to exhaust all the options related to the 1st approach i.e. if there is no proper/easy way to implement the solution then I would have go for the 2nd approach.
The reason I am reluctant to go for 2nd approach is that I might loose control(I am speculating that there might be some restrictions on using that platform, I might be wrong and could only find out the try after tring that) and also there will be learning curve associated with this and I would also have to spend time & resources in order to stabilize with the chosen technology.
Thanks in advance.
If resource isn't a concern/constraint for you, then you can use a Virtual Machine, like VMWare and simulate separate test environments with different web browsers. However, if you are looking for the best solution, then you have to use Cloud solutions like SauceLabs or BrowserStack.

Chrome extension development on Ubuntu is like a pain

I am developing my first extension for Chrome and as I am working on Ubuntu, I've encountered two awful bugs.
The first thing is that chrome.i18n.getUILanguage is not supported! (console gives me an error about unsupported method). The thing is that this problem is not listed on any WIKI page, which may become tricky for beginners. Anyone had similar issue? For now, I am using window.navigator.language.
The second bug is about rich notifications that are not supported (anyone knows when it will be released?). As far as I know, when the app will be about to send a notification, the scripts will stop due to the error (similar to the first bug). I am not sure if there is possibility to develop different packages for different platforms, but if I want my extension to be truly multi-platform, I will have to give up development of this feature.
Any suggestions or thoughts?
Thanks,
As i said earlier in a comment, it seems to be not supported with linux mint either where i'm developing the chrome extension.
In this link a member of the chrome team said that they submitted it... but this is not true.
Thanks for the window.navigator.language alternative.

Programming for Windows Phone 8 on Microsoft Windows 7

Using Microsoft Windows 7 and either Visual studio 2010 or 2012, how should I program for Windows Phone 8?
Assuming it is not possible, when does Microsoft plan to fix that?
Asked a different but related question, and got this answer, which if correct gives me the answer I was looking for.
You can't - you'll need Windows 8 64-bit to develop for Windows Phone 8, and additionally you'll want the Professional version of Windows 8 to leverage the emulator.
See http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35471 for details.
I don't think the following is a recommended approach but I don't see any compelling reason for why that is so feel free to read on.
According to this answer it seems that you can make programs that are runnable on Windows Phone 8 (WP8) although it won't have all the features but probably most, and maybe the developer experience will not be the same. Also it does not seem to be an officially supported way ( I am not sure about that point ).
So it seems like you could use SDK 7.1 for example and update it to SDK 7.8. According to the System Requirements it runs on Windows 7. Keep in mind that I don't know if it is officially supported.

Wrapping a HTML5 app into an executable for Windows/Linux/Mac

I'm building a HTML5 mobile app which I'm going to wrap in an Android and an iOS app with a simple web view. However, I have some users that use my current Adobe Air app (which is now unsupported), and I'd like to offer them this new app I'm building.
I've heared that Adobe Air's implementation of webkit is rather old and unstable.
Is there any good tools for wrapping a local browser (preferably webkit) and my app in an executable for cross-platform (PC) use?
I've just seen this http://appjs.org/ and I'm glad to see that Alex's TideSDK sounds great also !
Adobe AIR can do what you want, but I won't support that solution : it's slow and not really crossplatform since they drop the support on Linux if I'm correct.
If someone happen to test the others, feedback is welcome !
Off topic: Moreover I've chosen not to trust Adobe for my technical choices anymore. We've waited Flash on mobile for years, they drop the idea. We've been waiting for optimization on Mac and Linux for years, but nobody cares. The new hype some months ago was expecting compilation to HTML5, it's just some buzzwords mixed together and some old sketchy alpha version as far as I know.
EDIT
AppJS has moved http://appjs.com/
EDIT
node-webkit seems to be definitely a must see now ! https://github.com/rogerwang/node-webkit
Read an article lately about this sdk: http://www.tidesdk.org/ . I haven't worked with it yet - so can't really say if it's worth trying and doing what you want.

Mobile Application in ActionScript 3

Just to be clear ,this is a university project that i am doing ,this is my first time working with flash/AS.i am half way implementing the mobile web application.I have used Flash Lite 4 and Actionscript 3.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Flash_Lite
"Adobe Flash Lite 4 has been released (2010) and integrated in Symbian^3 (Nokia N8, Nokia E7...)"-wikipedia
The problem is only a no of devices are currently supporting Flash Lite v4.my question is would older models able to render it?
Depends! if you are using Flash Lite 4 specific features, it won't run on earlier devices.
Not clear from your question, if you are concerned about specific APIs/features.
I would advise to compare Flashlit 4 API and previous versions:
http://www.developer.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/43ca0681-c8c6-4684-ad71-c4ac41f3ee4f/Flash_Lite_Developers_Library.html
Also check if the SDK supports full-backwards compatibility
Flash, especially FlashLite, is only supported on a very limited selection of devices. The very fact that Adobe does not make a big show of what devices actually support it should give you an indication of its adoption rate.
Apart from hardware capabilities, there are also limitations on a per device basis, based on carrier constraints (some devices which might technically support the FlashLite runtime may have its installation restricted by carriers who block user installation of apps).
