Cell Displayed As a Single Column in Octave - octave

I am working on a .mat file containing different data. The problem is the Cell is shown as a single column, not as 2D form. I already tried full('Cell'), but it is still shown as a single column. Also I tried
size('Cell') and ismatrix('Cell'), the answers were 53*45 and 1.

The easiest way is to change your cell to a dataframe using dataframe('cell'), so that you can read the data in a table-form.

Extract a single row from a table

I’m trying to extract a single row from a table.
I'm using google sheet to create the links and in cell D3 it contains this url.
https://www.wsj.com/market-data/quotes/AAPL/options
I have several links in cell D3 to go through.
The word "Last Trade" appears several times in different tables but I'M ONLY INTERESTED IN THE VERY FIRST TABLE FROM THE TOP.
with this word and once this word is found i'm looking to extract the ROW just above it.
Below is the IMPORTXML, and its needs modification and it should be able to pull that last row.
=IMPORTXML(D3,"//tr[td1/#class='acenter inthemoney'][last()]")
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
For that row you will need:
(//tr[#class='last_trade_row'])[1]/preceding-sibling::tr[1]
And then pick the wright td...it's unclear which td you want. So if you wanted the third td the XPath would be:
(//tr[#class='last_trade_row'])[1]/preceding-sibling::tr[1]/td[3]
Its always the first table that ends with the word LAST TRADE and the row above it that i'm looking to extract, so in this case this is the row that i'm looking to extract, below is the picture.
https://www.wsj.com/market-data/quotes/AAPL/options
In the above case where you want the first td the XPath will then be
(//tr[#class='last_trade_row'])[1]/preceding-sibling::tr[1]/td[1]

How to generate numbers for showing sequence in SSRS also it should get rearrenge when any field inbetween is missing

I am facing problem in SSRS report for showing sequense numbers as given in image.
when I searched for this issue I got solution as -- RowNumber("DataSetName")
but problem with this is, it generate numbers like 1,2,3..., but I want these numbers in following forms- 1.1, 1.2 or 1.1.1, 1.2.1.
And another problem for me is above function will work if I am having multiple rows in dataset and that dataset is bind with table to show its data, but In my case I am getting all data in single row and out of that I am showing values in textbox using expressions and if that value is empty I am hiding that textbox.
so I am not getting any solution to show sequence number in textbox along with text and how I can rearrenge that numbers if my inbetween textbox is hidden because of no data.
Please provide me solution for above probem.
Image for reference -
Example of data is :
From above table values from "Subheading1" And "Subheading2" will show inside "Heading first" and "Subheading3" And "Subheading4" will show inside "Heading second".
You can concatenate row numbers as strings as follows:
=RowNumber("HEADING") & "." & RowNumber("SUBHEADING")
To ensure numbers are consecutive remove the relevant rows in the source dataset instead of hiding them in the tablix.

(SSRS) if cell contains specific text then divide another cell by a number say 2

I'm having trouble trying to divide a cell by (A NUMBER) only if another cell contains specific text and if the cell contains another text i want it to be divide by a different number in SSRS
This is what i have but it is not working.
=IIF(Fields!PARTNO_LOT.Value=("A1001"),Fields!LOCSTOCK.Value/200)
I have added a example but in excel just to show my intent in SSRS.
If the above answer doesn't work, try this:
=Switch(
Fields!PARTNO_LOT.Value="A1001",Fields!LOCSTOCK.Value/200,
Fields!PARTNO_LOT.Value="A1002",Fields!LOCSTOCK.Value/285,
Fields!PARTNO_LOT.Value="A1003",Fields!LOCSTOCK.Value/89
)
Let me know if this helps.
If I understand correctly, you are trying to execute multiple conditions. You can use nested IIF statements:
=IIF(Fields!PARTNO_LOT.Value=("A1001"),Fields!LOCSTOCK.Value/200,
IIF(Fields!PARTNO_LOT.Value=("A1002"),Fields!LOCSTOCK.Value/285, Fields!LOCSTOCK.Value/89))
If your values are only few, this would work. If they are more than 2-3, I would look into creating a function. Reference: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms156028.aspx

How do I insert a dataset value to a BIRT report outside of a table / cube?

okay, this has got to be simple - but I can't seem to find an answer...
I am creating a summary report (using BIRT 2.6.1), and laying out a few specific summary values in a grid (not a table or a cube).
Say it's a simple query:
SELECT decision FROM dataTable
I created a data binding / aggregation (named "sumDecision") on my grid, of a type count, where my expression is:
dataSetRow["decision"]
Now, I've tried to insert this into a grid, either as "data" or "dynamic text" with the column binding:
row["sumDecision"]
But when I run the report, it comes up blank. How would I do this? Using dataSet["decision"] doesn't seem to do anything either.
I would create a Text Item (not Dynamic Text, just Text) and use the "Value Of" tags on the text item. This will give you an expression editor and as long as your grid is bound to the data set in question, you will be able to choose your data element there.
Since you just want to see the text in the grid, make sure and choose "HTML" for the format of the text item.
One solution is to create a table of 1 column, 1 detail - then delete the detail & header rows, and create my grid inside the footer of the table.
From here, I can add a dataset to the table, and create aggregations that work to my hearts content.
Is this the right way to do this, or am I missing something?
