Non Rectangular Layouts - html

I want to create HTML layout like this
https://dribbble.com/shots/2136656-Minions-Promo/attachments/393961
I tried to use some css codes to make elements non rectangular, but no luck so far :).
I saw this post:
How can i Create This Non-Rectangular Layouts?
But couldn't find answers there :)
Anyone have an idea how to build this thing?
Thanks

You can use :pseudo element to add a background and use skew property
* {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
box-sizing: border-box;
}
.red {
padding: 15px;
position: relative;
color: white;
margin-bottom: 50px;
}
.red:after {
content: '';
position: absolute;
bottom: 0;
top: 0;
right: 0;
left: 0;
background: tomato;
z-index: -1;
transform: skew(0deg, 2deg);
}
.blue {

Scroll DIV content instead of browser window

I created a modal window which has a Header, Body and Footer.
Instead of scrolling the browser window I need to scroll the Modal's Body.
Note that the Modal's Header and Footer should be fixed, e.g., not scroll.
How can I do this?
div.cover {
background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.4);
bottom: 0;
height: 100%;
left: 0;
overflow: auto;
padding: 0;
position: fixed;
right: 0;
top: 0;
width: 100%;
z-index: 200;
}
div.modal {
background-color: white;
border: solid 1px blue;
margin: 10% auto;
max-width: 400px;
padding: 0;
width: 80%;
z-index: 400;
}
div.header, div.body, div.footer {
padding: 20px 0;
}
div.body {
border-bottom: 1px solid red;
border-top: 1px solid red;
}
p {
float: left;
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
}
a {
float: right;
display: block;
padding: 0;

.clear:before, .clear:after {

display: table;

There are two things you need to do. First set body overflow when your modal is open:
body{
overflow: hidden; // inherit when modal is closed.
}
This will ensure that your content "behind" will not move with the scroll.
Secondly, you need to ensure the wrapper around your modal permits overflow scroll.
.modal-content-wrapper{
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
overflow: scroll;
....
}

My class=float is not floating within the code, and the whole html does not appear on the site via Google Tagmanager

I have copied and paste the following code and I want to apply this to my website. It should float at the right bottom.
I'm just a noob, I haven't tried anything, since I just don't know.
<div class="float" />
<div class="dot" />
<div class="at-about-fab">
<div class="at-about-fab__thumbnail">

</div>
<div class="at-about-fab__meta">
<h2>Call us now!</h2>

</div>
.float{

I want just everything floating at the right corner, i cannot seperate css and html since its going via tag manager.
By the way, I also please want to blur the background of the class=float, but do not know how.
Can someone help me?
So I checked your code and there were a few typos. First there is a </div> too much. And in your css you use opacity, change the = to :. Also the dot position has to be fixed and not absolute. And for the blur you can add this backdrop-filter: blur(10px);
.float{
position:fixed;
width:290px;
height:100px;
bottom:14px;
right:10px;
background-color:4d4d4d;
opacity: 0.1;
border-radius:50px;
box-shadow: 2px 2px 3px #999;
opacity:50;
backdrop-filter: blur(10px);
}
.dot {
position: fixed;
right: 215px;
display:block;
z-index:1000000;
bottom: 30px;
height: 35px;
width: 35px;
background-color: #bbb;
border-radius: 50%;
width: 14px;
height: 14px;
background: #228B22;
-webkit-transition:opacity 0.2s ease;
-moz-transition:opacity 0.2s ease;
-o-transition:opacity 0.2s ease;
}
.dot:hover{
background-color:rgba(100,100,100,0);
opacity:0;
}
.at-about-fab {
z-index: 999999;
position: fixed;
right: 40px;
bottom: 40px;
display: flex;
align-items: center;
flex-direction: row;
}
.at-about-fab:hover .at-about-fab__meta {
opacity: 1;
}
.at-about-fab__thumbnail {
position: absolute;
top: 50%;
left: -88px;
background: #FFFFFF;
width: 78px;
height: 78px;
border: 4px solid #EEEEEE;
border-radius: 100%;
padding: 1px;
box-sizing: border-box;
-webkit-transform: translateY(-50%);
transform: translateY(-50%);
overflow: show;
cursor: pointer;
}
.at-about-fab__thumbnail img {
display: block;
width: 100%;
border-radius: 100%;
}
.at-about-fab__meta {
font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif;

.at-about-fab__meta h2,

Hello #Rick float is the property of the class, not a class. Use following style.
.your_class_name

Why does this css animated Infinite autoplay carousel jump when the items reset?

I'm working to create an infinite autoplay carousel based on the example here: https://codepen.io/jackoliver/pen/qVbQqW
Notice how smooth the codepen example is, it never jumps when the carousel resets from the last to first item.
Mine is less smooth - Mine is jumping on reset and I can't figure out why...

Border can't be set to 50% of element total height. But you can use ::after & ::before to draw some lines on sides
body{
background-color: #f3f3f3;
}
div{
height: 300px;
margin: 10px auto;
width: 300px;
background: #fff;
position: relative;
}
div::before{
content: "";
height: 50%;
display: block;
border-left: 1px solid #333;
position: absolute;
left: 0;
top: 50%;
transform: translateY(-50%);
}
div::after{
content: "";
height: 50%;
display: block;

Apply css ease transitions on hover

I have created box using css and on hover it will show overflow content(text),
Is there any way to apply smooth transaction effect to this hover effect?
I have tried using css-transition but its not working!
I don't want to change the method of doing it! Need only css/Javascript solution.

You'd need to use some css property that can be animated...
In you case, instead of dealing with overflow, you would have to deal with the height, though it's not easy to make a transition from height fixed to auto.
A possible hack, as answered here, is to use max-height, though it's not pretty, as it requires you to use hard coded values...
