Oracle 6i reports with graphical components - oracleforms

How to use graphical components in 64bit OS with help of Oracle 6i reports. In 32bit machines I am able to run graphs through forms. While using the same report in 64bit machines I am getting the below error,
gobat60.exe has stopped working
I Will appreciate if someone can suggest me a workaround for this.
Thanks in advance.

my database turned into a "read-only" after changing PC

I need Help
I recently just created a program using Visual Studio 2017 with C#, i'm using Microsoft Visual Studio Installer Project Extension to create the installation.
i've tried installing the program in PC i used for programming (I created the database directly from Visual Studio Without sql management studio) and there's no problem there but
i faced a problem where after i Installed the program in different Computer, the Database turned into a fail
Failed to update database "C\... .mdf" because the database is read only.
i don't have sql management studio installed here as well. I've already tried to change the allowance from all the users on this PC but it still happenning.
so if you guys have any idea on what should i do that would be a lot of help.

Visual Studio 2012 Entity Framework don't have MySQL Data Source Type

I'm using visual studio 2012 and installed MySQL 5.7 and all the developer tools. After I added EF 6.0 etc from Nuget and try to link to my database, MySQL is not part of the available data source as depicted below.
I can however, see the selection when trying to add connection at Server Explorer. May I know if anybody knows how to fix it? What have I missed? Thank you.
Update 1:
These are what I have installed.
After trying with my local PC and my VM, I found out the problem. Since I installed mysql-connector-net-6.10.5.msi, it's not supported. At my VM I had installed the mysql-connector-net-6.9.10.msi instead.
After changing the local PC to mysql-connector-net-6.9.10.msi, I'm able to see the data source. Is MySQL trying to phase out the support in the future?

SSRS The 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine

Well, this is a bit awkward. I currently have a set of reports on a 32-bit sql server 2005 instance that references an access database on a network location. I'm currently trying to migrate these over to my new reporting services instance (sql server 2008 64-bit), and i've ran into an issue.
Well, i did a google search on the error and got a bunch of stuff saying to compile to use x86 and use 32-bit, etc., but none of it even touch on if i was getting this in rpeorting services.
My question is, is there a way to "fix" this, or some sort of work-around? Perhaps there's another provide i can use to get to the access database?
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Ran into the exact same problem today, as you alluded to there is no 64-bit Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0 provider available. This impacts reports that attempt to use Excel and Access datasources on a 64-bit Reporting Services instance. Here is the KB article confirming that no 64-bit Jet driver is available:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957570
The solution I found is from this forum post on MSDN:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlreportingservices/thread/9e999fb4-5a39-41c4-8fd7-46193a223673/
It involves creating an SSIS package that reads the Excel or Access data source, running the SSIS package in 32-bit mode, and using the SSIS package as the report datasource. Not ideal, but it works.
I'm afraid this is the nasty workaround to which we're limited.
I ran across this, which worked in a specific case:
http://danielcai.blogspot.com/2011/02/solution-run-jet-database-engine-on-64.html
From that post:
Microsoft has released a 64-bit compatible Jet database engine last year. The following is the procedure that you may use to fix this issue:
Download Microsoft Access Database Engine 2010 Redistributable (of
course you'll need to choose the right bit for your server), and
install it on your server
Change your connection string in your code or configuration file from
Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;
to
Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;

Group .net project: 1 Developer on PC with VS 2005 and 1 Developer on Mac with MonoDeveloper

I'm new to .net but a mac user. I need to team with a friend on a new project. He's currently on a pc using VS 2005. And I'd rather try Mono as oppose to running xp or vista in a VM and install VS there.
If I use Mono Developer. will we be able to share files in the same project? Is the current version of Mono Developer the equivalent of VS 2005 or 2008?
Please advise on the best way for me to do this.
Thanks in Advance
Kevykev
Current MonoDevelop can read and write both VS2005 and VS2008 project files, and do not automatically convert them. There is no problem with sharing solutions between VS and MD.
I am working on such project, where I'm using MD under Linux and other developer is using VS on Windows. There are no problems with it. I prefer this solution then running VS in virtual system, because of the native feel of the application and no barriers between virtual system and my native desktop.
Depending on the nature of your project that could work, but honestly, if you are working on a shared project, having both developers working on the same platform is most likely going to give you the best overall end solution.

NetBeans IDE 6.5 and Microsoft Access

I would like to know if there is anyone who has used NetBeansIDE 6.5 before, also connected a MS Access 2007 database to a system developed with java Application option in the NetBeans platform. i would appreciate help very much especially if it's a tutorial send to me(alanzomo#yahoo.com)
This tutorial on the Netbeans Website shows how you can connect Netbeans to an ODBC data source using the JDBC-ODBC bridge. This will work for Access databases.
Alternatively, you can use this tool on the Sun website to find JDBC drivers for Microsoft Access.
