I have an issue with one of my designs.
I have created a design which is much like the windows 8 tiles, but there is an issue that arises sometimes.
The .row and .large-* sometimes have some mysterious gaps between the top of their containing elements.
There is no padding or margins anywhere that should be causing it, but it is happening.
I have made a fiddler example to show it in effect.
Please can someone have a look at it and tell me what I am doing wrong:
http://jsfiddle.net/34pk327u/
this is the HTML before it is rendered:
<div class="row">
<a class="back" href="/"><i class="fa fa-arrow-circle-left"></i></a>
<section class="large-4 columns">
<h1 class="column-title">Orders <small>quick search</small></h1>
<form name="orderFrom" role="form" ng-submit="customerServices.orderSearch()">
<div class="row collapse">
<div class="small-10 columns typeahead-icon">
<input type="text" ng-model="customerServices.searchTerm" placeholder="Search" typeahead="item for items in customerServices.autoComplete() | filter:$viewValue" typeahead-loading="customerServices.loading" typeahead-min-length="2">
<i ng-show="customerServices.loading" class="fa fa-spinner fa-spin"></i>
</div>
<div class="small-2 columns">
<button type="submit" class="button postfix">Go</button>
</div>
</div>
</form>
</section>
<section class="tile-column large-8 columns" tile-column>
<h1 class="column-title">Recent orders</h1>
<div class="loading" ajax-loader ng-show="customerServices.recent.loading"></div>
<div class="alert alert-box" ng-show="!customerServices.recent.loading && customerServices.recent.data.length === 0">

</section>

Update 1
I have updated the fiddle and added some borders so you can see the issue:
http://jsfiddle.net/34pk327u/2/
if you look at the quick search, it looks like it's 40px (ish) below the top of the row, but the other columns are in the right place.
I don't really understand what "mysterious gaps" you're referring to, but you can try adding padding: 0; to .row and .large-*

I am trying to horizontally center some text with the search bar using Bulma CSS, but it didn't work out the way I wanted. I tried using columns, but they are usually pulled all the way over at the edge or not placed properly. I also tried using levels but they also had similar results that I didn't want. Please help.
Here is my code:
<div class="container section">
**<p> I want to make this tag to be in the same line as the search box </p>**
<div class="field has-addons is-pulled-right">
<div class="control">
<input class="input" type="text" placeholder="Search competition">
</div>
<div class="control">
<a class="button is-info">
Search
</a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
I want to have some text aligned to the left of the container and the search box located on the opposite right side of the row. Thank you.
Can you describe what issues you were having with the columns? Did you try using the .is-vcentered class on the .columns div?
Make sure to view the following code in a full screen.
<link href="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/bulma/0.7.5/css/bulma.min.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
<div class="container section">
<div class="columns is-vcentered">
<div class="column">
<p style="border: 1px solid #ccc;"> I want to make this tag to be in the same line as the search box </p>
</div>
<div class="column">
<div class="field has-addons is-pulled-right">
<div class="control">

</div>
<div class="control">
<a class="button is-info">

</a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
OR I see that you said horizontally centered. Did you try the .is-centered class on the .columns container and the .is-narrow class on the .columns?
<link href="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/bulma/0.7.5/css/bulma.min.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
<div class="container section">
<div class="columns is-centered is-vcentered">

Everyone I am try to develop a UI in which I have a list of category each category has some options.
The issue is pretty silly but not able find a correct solution for it when I expand a particular widget. the count of widget is changing which is on the left side and number widget is increased on the right side I want to fixed number widgets as shown on document is loaded. Example when widget expands is below
My code is like this given below
<div class="widget-body col-lg-12 no-padding">
<div class="row">
<div class="col-lg-6" ng-repeat="cat in category track by $index" >
<section class="widget " data-widgster-collapsed="true" style="margin-bottom:5px;margin-top:15px; ">
<header class="ui-sortable-handle" style=" border-top: 3px solid orange;">
<h5>
<span class="fw-semi-bold">{{cat.Name}}</span>
<div class="widget-controls" >
<a data-widgster="expand" title="" ng-click="show(cat.Id)" href="#" style="display: none;" data-original-title="Expand">
<i class="glyphicon glyphicon-chevron-right"></i>
</a>
<a ng-click="hide(cat.Id)" data-widgster="collapse" title="" href="#" data-original-title="Collapse">
<i class="glyphicon glyphicon-chevron-down"></i>
</a>
</div>
</h5>
</header>
<div class="widget-body">
<div class="row">
<div class="col-lg-12">
<div class="col-lg-6 checkbox" ng-repeat="opt in cat.option">
<input id="{{cat.Id}}_{{opt.id}}" type="checkbox" ng-checked="{{opt.value}}" ng-model="opt.value">
<label for="{{cat.Id}}_{{opt.id}}">{{opt.name}}</label>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</section>
</div>
</div>
So, on expand I want 5 widgets on left and 5 on right and there position must be fixed.
I have list that I render with semantic-ui and it needs some margin to the top for the first element. I looked in the CSS code and I see margin-top:0!important and I can override it for the first element with margin-top:10px!important; and then the rendering looks good. Is there a better way to achieve it? My code (without the fix) is

This "solution" works, but I don't like it
<div {% if loop.index0 == 0 %}style="margin-top:10px!important"{% endif %} class="item">
By the looks of it I would personally just change the margin on the with the simple line:
.container .nav{
margin-top:10px;
}
Does this answer your question? (I know it looks too simple to be true)
I would suggest adding a custom class to <ul class='nav nav-tabs'>
<ul class="nav custom-class nav-tabs">
and adding margin-bottom to it
.custom-class{
margin-bottom:20px;
}
We are adding a custom class to unordered list <ul> so that changes made to it doesn't effect other elements which are using nav class
On your div.tab-content try adding class ui basic segment
I know it is waaay overdue, but I came across this thread when looking for the same issue in Semantic UI React. My solution was to add a divider above the first container:
<Divider hidden></Divider>
This is driving me nuts....as per this page http://kudosoo.com/twofolio.html
there is an issue with the left nav working correctly.The top part of the menu disappears upon loading. I've tried adjusting the css and html in different ways to solve this but nothing has worked to date.
I believe its linked to the either the #container or how the drop dwon menu is showing on the page, seems to be sitting on top of the menu.
Any help is gratefully received.

So, as I can see it.. really, the navigation shouldn't be showing at all when the page is loaded, correct? As the navigation is shown when the main page content is slid to the right?
z-index is used to order the layers of divs in HTML. The higher the number, the more 'forward' it will be placed on the page (back to front).
Currently, your <div id="content"> has a z-index of 10, whilst your <div id="sidebar"> has a z-index of 2.
This means your Content div will be placed infront of your Sidebar div, causing the top of the sidebar to be hidden.
Changing these values in your CSS file will change the order.
.page-content is on line 9 of your style.css file
.page-sidebar is on line 25 of your style.css file
i think in line 135 you closed the div wrong
remove closing div from line 135 and place in the end of side bar code at line 162
<div class="nav-item">
Close<em class="unselected-nav"></em>
</div>
</div>
Make the Z-index of your sidebar to 11. Your page content has z-index of 10
<div id="sidebar" style="z-index:11" class="page-sidebar">
I actually resolved this by adjusting <div style="height:350px"></div> to

I use bootstrap on my current project, it's working fine but only one glitch:
I have 3 col-sm-6 next to each other, when the second col-sm-6 is longer than the first, third col-sm-6 moves to left and a gap appears between first and third one.
I have 2 points to ask about:
Is it possible / how to remove that gap.
Is it possible / how to fix the third .col-sm-6 .tasks-panel to left.
Here is 2 images demonstrate what problem I have:
Second col-sm-6 is short:

Have you tried to apply "pull-right" to the "col-sm-6" container of "panel panel-primary outlets-panel"?
<div class="col-sm-6 pull-right">

You'll still have to fix the above space of the "tasks list" container, but that should be trivial.
