animate speedometer needle with pure css - html

I have tried my best here Jsfiddle. Now I want to animate the center needle point slowly to fastly from left to right. I have heard about css keyframes and tried it. But, it goes left and right. I didn't get the expected result. How do I animate this needle using just pure css?

CSS Rotating Animation Stops for half a Second

I have this loading animation.but after every rotation it stops for a split second.is there a way to make it more fluid...im using after and before pseduo elements and animating the parent circle with animation-iteration-count to infinite.i am rotating it 405deg=45deg(intial value)+360deg

It's not completely stopping, but it's easing (the animation-timing-function). If you set it to use linear instead then it is continuous.

As another option if you want to keep the full div, just make the borders that you don't want transparent. The only caveat is that it will appear 45 degrees rotated, so just transform it with a transform: rotate(45deg).
Note that I'm unsure what the support for this is.

You can use border-top-left-radius and border-top-right-radius properties to round the corners on the box according to the box's height (and added borders).
Then add a border to top/right/left sides of the box to achieve the effect.

Rotating a div from the top left, transform-origin isn't working

I am trying to simulate n amount of boxes rotating from the bottom-right position of the preposition div.
So, basically, I want the top left absolute position of n, be the same as the bottom right absolute position of n - 1. I really hope I explained this well enough, I just don't want there to be a gap, and want the boxes to rotate from the top left without moving to the right or to the bottom.
I tried adding transform-origin: 0 0; but it still won't work.
I appreciate any help, thank you in advance.

To calculate the start point of each new rectangle you need to use some trigonmetry to calculate the end position of the last one. Since this is not included in SASS/CSS you have to write your own functions.

How to create a triangle in CSS3 using border-radius

I am using border-radius property to acheive rounded corners. But I am not sure how to get rounded corners of this shape. I tried giving same dimensions from either sides but they just dont give me the exact shape. Am I missing some CSS3 property here.
Just wondering if clip css property is the answer.

The effect is achieved by creating a square, rotating it with a CSS transform, rounding the corners, and clipping it with an outer box. The inner element can be adjusted as desired, so it is somewhat flexible.

Alternatives
SVG images support shapes of this type and are supported in all modern browsers. Simple SVGs can be coded by hand as XML, and there are a variety of free/paid editors for working with them.
