VM Instance Password Expired - google-compute-engine

So, I ignored and then forgot about the notice that my password would expire in 2 days. Now those 2 days have passed, and when I attempt to remote to the instance, I get the error that my credentials did not work. Any way to fix this, without needing to delete and recreate the instance? Lesson learned - next time I'll make it a priority to change the password reset protocol...
P.S. On another forum someone suggested using localhost\ in front of the account name, but that didn't work.

Open your RDP file in Notepad, add the following line and save it.
enablecredsspsupport:i:0
Connect to your server and change the expired password.

Kam - thank you for your suggestion! It turned out that I didn't need it afterall though.
Apparently part of the problem is that I'm using the Chrome RDP extension to connect. So I just created a Windows RDP connection using the link in the Google Developers Console, so I could edit it and add that line. I decided to test it before modifying, and that brought me to a window with the option to change my password, which the Chrome RDP extension did not do.

IBM Websphere security issue - Password reset

I have an issue with IBM Websphere,
We forgot our password and I followed the topic I found here in the forum to reset admin password.
How to reset password for admin account in IBM websphere 6.1?
Issue I have is when I disable security, I get into the websphere console but have NO option to get into security tab. No tab available except "tasks", so I cannot enable security nor reset the admin user there.
Also, after this, I cannot put security on again. I keep getting the login page with no password.
I tried the script with securityon instead of securityoff (sounds logical to me) but now it requests user password to do so...
If I manually edit the security.xml to put security enabled="true", I get a startup error...
UPDATE 1
There was an issue loading applications, so that's the reason why I could not get the menu on the left. However, I could not find any solution to it, and decided to restore the system.
Now I can get the menu list, but face another error when I try to reset the admin user with the wizard, at the last steps here is the message error I get :
SECJ7305E: Found other virtual member manager repository configurations. Only the built-in virtual member manager file-based repository is supported through the wizard
This actually blocks me, and I cannot go further.
I tried to run the wizard without activating security as well, but not working either.
I do not want to mess with user repositories as some repo's are configured... I just would like to reset the admin password :(
Anybody faced this issue? Any help/idea is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

PhpStorm Deployment - asks for login credentials every time

I setup deployment to sync my project code with the project on the FTP server where my website is stored.
However, I always have to login each time when I try to sync.
I even checked remember, but it does not work!
I am using the latest PhpStorm 2017.1.4
I tried it via sftp and ftp, the result is the same.
The Settings page for "Deployment" takes minimum 2 Minutes to load btw!
UPDATE:
I noticed that the credentials are not getting saved!
I've entered a username and password and clicked on save password, then on apply and OK. Then I close the settings menu.
If I open it again, then the fields for username and password are empty again!
Please switch to using KeePass in Settings | Appearance & Behavior | System Settings | Passwords.
Generally, the Native Keychain should work too, but there might be some issues with it that need troubleshooting. If you want, submit a support ticket for PhpStorm, I'll take a look.

Cannot access the Couchbase 4.1.0 Web Console

I'm new to Couchbase and I ran into a problem which I couldn't solve by browsing the web looking for help. I've recently installed Couchbase 4.1.0 Community Edition onto a Windows Server 2012 machine. Everything worked well, I've set up admin password, but I can't login onto the Web Console. I've tried both "localhost" and "127.0.0.1" with identical results. This is what I see when I open the Web Console:
Couchbase Web Console
When I enter correct user name and password and hit "Sign In", the page just reloads and shows blank fields. Nothing else happens. When I enter an incorrect password, I see the following:
Couchbase Web Console - incorrect password
That's it. No action at all. I've tried resetting the password many times (cbreset_password.exe), even reinstalling the whole thing, but nothing changed.
Any help will be much appreciated! Thx.
I now know the answer and it has nothing to do with Couchbase itself. After weeks of inactivity on this task, I wanted to download the Oracle SQL Developer. As with all Oracle software, I had to pass a single sign-on form.
I filled in my username and password, and bang, the form merely reset itself! No error message, nothing. I've immediately had a deja vu. So I started to suspect something has to be wrong with the Internet Explorer's cookie settings. (It's all on a virtual machine which I only use occasionally, otherwise I'd have noticed it way sooner.)
I downloaded and installed Firefox, and both Couchbase and Oracle sign-on started to work! :)

SSRS 2014 I cannot open http://localhost/Reports due to permissions

I've looked at a number of potential solutions to the but nothing seems to work.
Basically, I have installed SQL Server 2014 on my own PC.
Everything works fine with the exception of SSRS
Initially, inputting the URL http://localhost/Reports returned a blank screen.
Then, after a bit of research and playing around, I made a little progress.
Now, despite me been an admin on my own machine!, it's comes back with:
User does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows UAC restrictions have been addressed.
As I say, there are a couple of 'potential' solutions but they require access to the URL - which I simply cannot get.
I feel this is a security related problem but have tried all sorts of potential solutions.
Open the browser with run as Administrator.
If you get any prompt for username and password. Change your intranet browser setting.
I've found the answer and it seems to be a combination of things.
Via Reporting Services Configuration Manager Add an additional HTTP identity for both the web Service URL and Report Manager URL.
Set Host Header Name to localhost
Set TCP Port to 8080
Note, I also found that 80 clashed with Skype causing a 'Page cannot be displayed' error
Although I have amended my Skype setting, I also amended the SSRS port
I'm not sure how crucial this is but it worked for me
Through Control Panel
Search for UAC, select Change User Account Control Settings
Amend to Never Notify
I am still uncomfortable with this but have found no other way of getting this to work.

Check the IE's 'User authentication' settings (refer to screenshot in

Hope your issue is solved now. But I was looking to overcome same problem, and as I got a solution. I thought some other people might get help from this.
I was trying to deploy a report to our production server but it would prompt for user credentials again and again but wont deploy the report, and everything seemed to be alright with the report.
I tried every credentials being used on the server but nothing worked.
Eventually I had a thought that there are .RDL, .RDS files being used to generate report and somehow the same should be uploaded on the server and this time I used the FTP User account credentials and Bingo!, it worked.
Hope this saves time of other people.
IE Settings:
Open Internet Explorer
Go to Tools and click on Internet Options
Under the Security tab, click on Trusted sites and click the Sites button and Add Report Manager/Report Server URL to the trusted
sites.
Then click Custom Level, and check the option Automatic logon with current user name and password
Repeat #3 and #4 for Local Intranet

Login into "Server"/ReportServer
Click on rdl file "drop down"
Select Manage
check if the Data Source's Connection String box is empty
If it's empty, provide the Connection String again
Select the Option Windows Integrated Security
Test and save your Connection String.
This will overwrite your localhost credentials.
