Is there any way to get that exact result:

(without details box, only pointer on map with place icon) but using Google Maps API Web Services v3 and not embed api?

I want to use the google maps javascript API for my project. I am using directions API to show path between two places on the map. My problem is since this app is focusing on a very rural area all the paths in the area still not in the google maps. Can I include those new paths to my instance of google maps and use the directions API to navigate through the paths? How can I do this? Is there a way to add a path to map as a polyline and use it for directions?
Update:
here is a screenshot of the application I was developing.
The white color path, works with directions api. I draw a polygon with coordinates I know of the unknown path, I want to use that path with directions api to show directions.
Trying to implement a search feature for USA cities in my IOS app. My goal is to use Google's Autocomplete API while legally avoiding the use of a Google map.
So, if I use Places Autocomplete API to display a list of suggested cities as the user types do I have to use a Google map if I geocode the chosen autocomplete result through apple with CLGeocoder?
Google says you must use their data in their maps. However, if I geocode through Apple to retrieve the coordinates for display on a map, the map data isn't coming from Google. Is this legal?
I know Airbnb uses Googles places api but they use Apple maps.
According to Places API Policies:
If your application displays Google Places API Web Service data on a map, that map must be provided by Google.
If your application displays Google Places API Web Service data on a page or view that does not also display a Google Map, you must show a "Powered by Google" logo with that data. For example, if your application displays a list of places on one tab, and a Google Map with those places on another tab, the first tab must show the "Powered by Google" logo.
So you can use Places autocomplete without a Google map, but in this case the logo is required.

Classic My Maps on maps.google.com will no longer be available.
Now we must use new maps. I would like to embed them to the website, without iframe that google suggests.
Before this change I used simple kml layer:
var kmlLayer = new google.maps.KmlLayer('https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&t=m&authuser=0&msa=0&output=kml&msid=212840568890456843825.0004c1fba0c8371a81c2b');";
kmlLayer.setMap(gMap);
But during the automatic update of my maps it was broken, if I use the same link - I got empty icons. Here is the new map (converted by google), can I load it using API V3 as I did before?
https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=zhJ_pzBRPGN8.kCI6hT4Kq0Ao
In other words:
I want to create maps here: https://www.google.com/maps/d/
And to embed them using API v3, but where can I get a link to the layer? Central coordinate, zoom level?
Change the KML Layer link to:
https://mapsengine.google.com/map/kml?mid=zhJ_pzBRPGN8.kCI6hT4Kq0Ao&lid=zhJ_pzBRPGN8.kZ0hfyeW-GtI
I grabbed this link from the "Share", "Download KML" URL on the Map that you linked to.
I am using a javascript Google Maps V3 to show the location of places I have on my site, I can only offer a small view on my site so anyone who wants to see the larger map on google should either click on the Google icone on the bottom left, or in some cases I saw a link/button on the map stating "click to show on Google Maps".
So my question is how to show the link/button on my map that can open the same location on google maps site.
Google map provides an option to customize the link by adding some parameters for viewing map.
You can get the list of parameters here:
http://alvarestech.com/temp/routeconverter/RouteConverter/navigation-formats/src/main/doc/googlemaps/Google_Map_Parameters.htm
You'll need to pass the parameters to the link.
Example: https://www.google.com.au/maps/preview/#,,
You can also refer this post for more details: How do I link to Google Maps with a particular longitude and latitude?
I am wondering if there is the option of hiding some information that google shows you by default, as subway stations, or public spaces names. I've been searching the web but few comments I have found. I don't want to display some transports info.
Does google maps api 3 allows you to do that?
Yes, Google Maps API V3 does allow you to remove or change information using Styled Maps:
