Cocos2d-x :Fade in list of items by sequence with different location - cocos2d-x

I'm newbie in Coco2d-x
I have a list of items (could be text)
I want to display them by sequence, one by one per 1 second in different location.
For example i have an array like items[50]
Thanks for all your help.

I have pasted few code below to show you how ccsequence works
CCFadeIn * fadeInText = CCFadeIn::create;
CCDelayTime * Delay = CCDelayTime::create(0.5f);
CCFadeIn * fadeInText2 = CCFadeIn::create;
CCCallFunc * funGame = CCCallFunc::create(this,callfunc_selector(HelloWorld::funcGame));
CCSequence *Sequence = CCSequence::create(fadeInText, readyDelay, fadeInText2, funGame, NULL);
myObject->runAction(Sequence);

Value Calculation issue in Google web HTML App

I have created an HTML web app in google script this works like a calculator, This app works fine if I add the input in descending order however if I skip the order and update in put data numbers randomly in any column then I am not getting the output properly
Example:- update the numbers in box number 4 and 5 then update in box number 1 you will find the differences in total numbers
Please refer the attached sheet for detailed script
Project Name- Project Proposal Form
$("#rTpe1").keyup(function(e){
$("#rFor1").val(this.value * $("#PerHourRate1").val());
$("#rFor3").val( Number($("#rFor1").val()) +Number($("#rFor2").val()))
});
$("#rTpe2").keyup(function(e){
$("#rFor2").val(this.value * $("#PerHourRate2").val());
$("#rFor3").val( Number($("#rFor1").val()) + Number($("#rFor2").val()))
});
$("#rTpe12").keyup(function(e){
$("#rFor12").val(this.value * $("#PerHourRate3").val());
$("#rFor3").val( Number($("#rFor1").val()) + Number($("#rFor2").val())+ Number($("#rFor12").val()))
});
$("#rTpe13").keyup(function(e){
$("#rFor13").val(this.value * $("#PerHourRate4").val());
$("#rFor3").val( Number($("#rFor1").val()) + Number($("#rFor2").val())+ Number($("#rFor12").val())+ Number($("#rFor13").val()))
});
I could be wrong, but I think that's the main culprit:
If your work your way top to bottom, the output in '#rFor3' is not affected. For example, if you enter values in the first field ('#rTpe1'), this statement
Number($("#rFor2").val()))
will evaluate to '0' because '#rFor2' probably contains an empty string at this point and Number("") will get you a zero. Because all subsequent input fields reference the results of previous calculations ('rTpe2' references 'rFor1', 'rTpe12' references both 'rFor1' and 'rFor2', etc), the sum will come out as correct.
Now consider the reverse scenario. For simplicity, let's make all your rates equal to 1. If you enter the value of '5' into 'rTpe12', the value of 'rFor3' will be
Number("") + Number("") + Number(5*1) == 5; //the first two inputs will contain empty strings at this point
The output of '#rFor3' would be 5. If you go up a step and enter the value of '2' into 'rTpe2', the value of the 'rFor3' output will change to
Number("") + Number(2*1) == 2; the first input will contain an empty string.
The code is not easy to understand, so even if this solution doesn't work for you, consider caching your DOM elements to improve performance and make your code more readable. Currently, you are using jQuery selectors to search the DOM over and over again, which is a serious performance drag. You could also store your calculated value as a variable and simply add values to it instead of recalculating on each input. For example
$('document').ready(function(){
var total = 0;
var input1 = $('#input1');
var input2 = $('#input1');
var input3 = $('#input1');
var output = $('#output');
input1.keyup(function(e){
var value = Number(this.value);
sum += value;
output.val(sum);
});
});

Storing matlab array in MySQL. Again

I have a 3D array in Matlab of uint16(basically it is just an image 1080x1920x3). I want to store it in mysql. Here is what I'm doing:
MySQL:
create table imgtest(img longblob);
Matlab:
% image_data - is my image as described before
raw_im = reshape(image_data,1,[]);
conn = database('test','root','root','Vendor','MySQL','Server','localhost')
x = conn.Handle;
insertcommand = ['INSERT INTO imtest (img) values (?)'];
StatementObject = x.prepareStatement(insertcommand);
StatementObject.setObject(1,raw_im)
StatementObject.execute
The problem is that I'm writing about 600k uint16 values into this blob field. But when I take this field from the DB, I always getting about 1.2 million of uint8 elements(exactly two times more).
So, is there a way to read this byte field as a set of uint16, but not uint8?
Thank you.
I have been doing something similar for one of my projects
basically there was one difference but maybe it would clarify something to you.
I was loading image directly to DB from file with command:
INSERT INTO BaseImage(Image)
SELECT * FROM OPENROWSET(BULK N'C:\co.jpg', SINGLE_BLOB) as image
and getting it back to Matlab required typecasting (just like #sebastian mentioned)
SQL_query = 'select TOP 1 pk_BaseImage,Image from BaseImage order by pk_BaseImage desc';
[data] = SQL_query_exec(SQL_query);
pk_BaseImage = data.Data.pk_BaseImage;
out = typecast(data.Data.Image{1,1},'uint8');
BUT..
it was not enough, I had to do some trick to use 'out' as image
I was forced to write it to temporary file and read it again to Matlab (I know it's strange but it worked very well and I could for example calculate DWT, DFT and so on)
image_matrix = get_image_matrix( out );
get_image_matrix function looks like:
function [ out ] = get_image_matrix( input )
targetfilename = 'temp.jpg';
%wynik
fid = fopen(targetfilename,'w');
if fid
fwrite(fid,input,'uint8');
end
fclose(fid);
out = imread(targetfilename);
delete(targetfilename);
end
I hope it will help you :)
One important notice - I used gray-scale images (uint8 type)
You can most probably typecast the uint8's into uint16's to get back at your original image data:
uint16_result = typecast(uint8_result, 'uint16');
I'm not familiar with the database toolbox - so there might well be a way to tell Matlab to do this on its own.
OK, thank you both. I've summarized your answers and this what I've got:
Since blob field is nothing more than byte array, then we should cast our data in matlab before writing it to the DB. After reading it from DB, we should cast them back.
Minimum working example is:
MySQL
create table imgtest(img longblob);
Matlab
% image_data - is my image as described before
raw_im = typecast(reshape(image_data,1,[]),'uint8'); %! the main string
conn = database('test','root','root','Vendor','MySQL','Server','localhost')
x = conn.Handle;
insertcommand = ['INSERT INTO imtest (img) values (?)'];
StatementObject = x.prepareStatement(insertcommand);
StatementObject.setObject(1,raw_im)
StatementObject.execute
After we can read it back:
res = exec(conn,'Select * from imtest')
array_uint8 = fetch(res);
array_uint8 = array_uint8{1};
array_uint16 = typecast(array_uint8,'uint16').
Hope this will help someone.

Creating a user generated list in flash

I'm trying to create a flash application that will keep track of user generated values. The app should basically allow the user to input the name of the item and it's cost. The total costs should then be added up to show a total value to the user. I can probably figure out how to add the values together, but I'm not really sure how to allow the user to create a list and then allow the user to save it. Can anyone point me towards a tutorial or point me in the right direction?
I am using variables to add user inputed numbers to come up with a total. The first problem is that actionscript 3.0 does not allow variables for texts. I just converted it to 2.0 to fix this. The second problem, is when I test the app and put in my values and click submit, I get NaN in the total values field. Is there a reason why it wouldn't add the values?
Here is the code I used for the submit button:
on (release) {
total = Number(rent) + Number(food) + Number(travel) + Number(entertainment) + Number(bills);
}
Am I missing anything?
Can I give the input text instance names and then give them variables? How are some ways to go about this?
Thanks for the help!
Have an object array, say for example
var stack:Array = new Array();
Then push the item name and it's cost to that array when user inputs, like
stack.push({item:AAA, cost:xx});
So that you can generate the list whenever you want with that array.
You have to see how this works in code. A list in actionscript could be stored inside an array, vector, dictionary or even an Object.
Var myList:Array = [];
myList.push({name: "item 1", cost: 5 });
myList.push({name: "item 2", cost: 7.5 });
If you want to grab the 'product' of "item 1" from the list, you have to create a function for that, lets call it getProductByName
function getProductByName(name:String):Object
{
for each(var product:Object in myList)
{
if (product.name === name) return product;
}
return null; // no match found
}
You can call that function like this:
var product = getProductByName("item 1");
trace(product.cost); // 5
And you can alter the product, so lets make it more expensive
product.cost += 1;
trace(product.cost); // 6
Have fun! If you are using classes, you would create one for the product, with public name and cost, and in that case you'de better use a vector, to ensure working with the right type.
This is what fixed the issue for me in action script 3.0:
myButton.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, addThem);
function addThem(e:MouseEvent)
{
totalField.text = String ( Number(field1.text) + Number(field2.text) + ....);
}
I also had to name the instances appropriately.

AdvancedDataGrid total sum of branch nodes

Introduction:
I have an AdvancedDataGrid displaying hierarchical data illustrated by the image below:
The branch nodes "Prosjekt" and "Tiltak" display the sum of the leaf nodes below.
Problem: I want the root node "Tavle" to display the total sum of the branch nodes below. When i attempted to do this by adding the same SummaryRow the sum of the root node was not calculcated correctly(Every node's sum was calculated twice).
dg_Teknikktavles = new AutoSizingAdvancedDataGrid();
dg_Teknikktavles.sortExpertMode="true";
dg_Teknikktavles.headerHeight = 50;
dg_Teknikktavles.variableRowHeight = true;
dg_Teknikktavles.addEventListener(ListEvent.ITEM_CLICK,dg_TeknikktavlesItemClicked);
dg_Teknikktavles.editable="false";
dg_Teknikktavles.percentWidth=100;
dg_Teknikktavles.minColumnWidth =0.8;
dg_Teknikktavles.height = 1000;
var sumFieldArray:Array = new Array(context.brukerList.length);
for(var i:int = 0; i < context.brukerList.length; i++)
{
var sumField:SummaryField2 = new SummaryField2();
sumField.dataField = Ressurstavle.ressursKey + i;
sumField.summaryOperation = "SUM";
sumFieldArray[i] = sumField;
}
var summaryRow:SummaryRow = new SummaryRow();
summaryRow.summaryPlacement = "group";
summaryRow.fields = sumFieldArray;
var summaryRow2:SummaryRow = new SummaryRow();
summaryRow2.summaryPlacement = "group";
summaryRow2.fields = sumFieldArray;
var groupField1:GroupingField = new GroupingField();
groupField1.name = "tavle";
//groupField1.summaries = [summaryRow2];
var groupField2:GroupingField = new GroupingField();
groupField2.name = "kategori";
groupField2.summaries = [summaryRow];
var group:Grouping = new Grouping();
group.fields = [groupField1, groupField2];
var groupCol:GroupingCollection2 = new GroupingCollection2();
groupCol.source = ressursTavle;
groupCol.grouping = group;
groupCol.refresh();
Main Question: How do i get my AdvancedDataGrid's (dg_Teknikktavles) root node "Tavle" to correctly display the sum of the two branch nodes below?
Side Question: How do i add a red color to the numbers of the root node's summary row that exceed 5? E.g the column displaying 8 will exceed 5 in the root node's summary row, and should therefore be marked red
Thanks in advance!
This is a general answer, without code examples, but I had to do the same just couple of days ago, so my memory is still fresh :) Here's what I did:
Created a class A to represent an item renderer data, extended it from Proxy (I had field names defined at run time), and let it contain a collection of values as it's data member. Once accessed through flash_proxy::getPropery(fieldName) it would find a corresponding value in the data member containing the values and return it. Special note: implement IUID, just do it, it'll save you couple of days of frustration.
Extended A in B, added a children property containing ArrayCollection of A (don't try to experiment with other collection types, unless you want to find yourself examining tons of framework code, trust me, it's ugly and is impossible to identify as interesting). Let B override flash_proxy::getPropery - depending of your compiler this may, or may not be possible, if not possible - call some function from A.flash_proxy::getPropery() that you can override in B. Let this function query every instance of A, which is a child of B, asking the same thing, as DataGrid itself would, when building item renderers - this way you would get the total.
When creating a data provider. Create an ArrayCollection of B (again, don't try to experiment with other collections--unless you are ready for lots of frustration). Create Hierarchical data that uses this array collection as a source.
Colors - that's what you use item renderers for, just look up any tutorial on using item renderers, that must be pretty basic.
In case someone else has the same problem:
The initial problem that everything was summed twice, was the result of using the same Array of SummaryField2 (sumFieldArray in the code) for both grouping fields(GropingField2 tavle and kategori)
The Solution to the main question: was to create a new array of summaryfields for the root node(in my intial for loop):
//Summary fields for root node
var sumFieldRoot:SummaryField2 = new SummaryField2();
sumFieldRoot.dataField = Ressurstavle.ressursKey + i;
sumFieldRoot.summaryOperation = "SUM";
sumFieldArrayRoot[i] = sumFieldRoot;
Answer to the side question:
This was pretty much as easy as pointed out by wvxyw. Code for this solution below:
private function summary_styleFunction(data:Object, col:AdvancedDataGridColumn):Object
{
var output:Object;
var field:String = col.dataField;
if ( data.children != null )
{
if(data[field] >5){
output = {color:0xFF0000, fontWeight:"bold"}
}
else {
output = {color:0x006633, fontWeight:"bold"}
}
//output = {color:0x081EA6, fontWeight:"bold", fontSize:14}
}
return output;
}

Correlate 2 columns in SQL

SELECT ica.CORP_ID, ica.CORP_IDB, ica.ITEM_ID, ica.ITEM_IDB,
ica.EXP_ACCT_NO, ica.SUB_ACCT_NO, ica.PAT_CHRG_NO, ica.PAT_CHRG_PRICE,
ica.TAX_JUR_ID, ica.TAX_JUR_IDB, ITEM_PROFILE.COMDTY_NAME
FROM ITEM_CORP_ACCT ica
,ITEM_PROFILE
WHERE (ica.CORP_ID = 1000)
AND (ica.CORP_IDB = 4051)
AND (ica.ITEM_ID = 1000)
AND (ica.ITEM_IDB = 4051)
AND ica.EXP_ACCT_NO = ITEM_PROFILE.EXP_ACCT_NO
I'm trying basically say since the exp account code is '801500' then the Name should return "Miscellaneous Medic...".
It seems as if what you are showing is not possible. Have you edited the data in the editor??? You are joining using ica.EXP_ACCT_NO = ITEM_PROFILE.EXP_ACCT_NO . Therefore, every entry with EXP_ACCT_NO = 801500, should also have the same COMDTY_NAME.
However, it could be the case that your IDs are not actually numbers and that they are strings with whitespace (801500__ vs 801500 ). But since you are not performing a left-outer join, it would also mean you have an entry in ITEM_PROFILE with the same whitespace.
You also need to properly normalize your table data (unless this is a view) but it still means you have erroneous data.
Try to perform the same query, but using the TRIM function to remove whitespace: https://stackoverflow.com/a/6858168/1688441 .
Example:
SELECT ica.CORP_ID, ica.CORP_IDB, ica.ITEM_ID, ica.ITEM_IDB,
ica.EXP_ACCT_NO, ica.SUB_ACCT_NO, ica.PAT_CHRG_NO, ica.PAT_CHRG_PRICE,
ica.TAX_JUR_ID, ica.TAX_JUR_IDB, ITEM_PROFILE.COMDTY_NAME
FROM ITEM_CORP_ACCT ica
,ITEM_PROFILE
WHERE (ica.CORP_ID = 1000)
AND (ica.CORP_IDB = 4051)
AND (ica.ITEM_ID = 1000)
AND (ica.ITEM_IDB = 4051)
AND trim(ica.EXP_ACCT_NO) = trim(ITEM_PROFILE.EXP_ACCT_NO);
