When I am configuring Envers with my NHibernate configuration, some of my models have collections mapped as HashedSet<> and when I am calling configuration.IntegrateWithEnvers(auditConfiguration);
I get the exception telling me that I need to define a custom ICustomCollectionMapperFactory.
Where do I need to define that?
That's strange. I assume you are using nh envers 1.x and nh core 3.x? If so, (iesi) hashedset<> should work just fine. What's the error message you get?
Anyhow - if you need to implement your own collectionmapperfactory (which you shouldnt need to, something else is fishy), you can have a look here...

...this example is used to be able to use (bcl) hashset<> as set implementation.
If you use nh envers 2.0 (and nh 4), why don't you use (bcl) hashset<> instead?

I am in the progress of upgrading a legacy application from PrimeFaces 6.2 to 11.0.0 (which is the newest available with maven - https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.primefaces/primefaces). I have had to make a number of changes, including adding Object as the parameter for RowEditEvent and TreeNode objects (which are now generic) and changing instantiations of DefaultStreamedContent to use .builder(). Now, I am facing the following error whenever I try to run the application and navigate to certain pages:
"javax.faces.FacesException: Unable to automatically determine the lazy attribute. Either define the lazy attribute on the component or make sure the value attribute doesn't resolve to null."
It looks like an exception is being thrown rather than a warning as is noted in the conversation here: https://github.com/primefaces/primefaces/issues/8436. It also looks like it was fixed, but for version 12 (which is not on the maven central repository).
I am wondering what my options are, or what could be done about this. Should I go back to an older version?
As a workaround you could create an application factory which sets the lazy attribute to false.

Is it a lazy DataTable which uses LazyDataModel? If yes, just set lazy=true, otherwhise set lazy=false
Im trying to get a definition of our AppSettings and ConnectionStrings.
I would like to be able to "fetch" the following:
Key (Name of setting)
Value (The value of the setting)
Provider/builder (From which provider the setting were "picked from", since we use configuraiton builders, such as the UserSecrets and Environment config builders).
The problem is that the application that "requires" this is using ASP.net 4.8.
If this would have been ASP.net core 3+, I could simply use IConfigurationRoot.GetDebugView, or well.. I could simply have a look at the source code of that method and recreate what I need.

But I cant find anything simulair in .Net Framework.
I have tried to find a way to eaither get all Config Builders and then use the keys from ConfigurationManager.AppSettings.AllKeys and ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings.AllKeys
and then for each ConfigBuilder call their GetValue-methods which takes a key.. this could work, but Im still unable to get all my configured Configuration Builders. Any ideas?
I had my working project written in asp.net core 2.1 for a long time, but yesterday, I was forced to upgrade it to .net core 3.0 (due to 2.1 cannot call Dll' s which are written in 3.0 already).
With that, a lot of functions were obsolete or already removed. I fixed almost all of it, but one problem with CORS.
Like many people before me, I used:

.AllowAnyHeader()
.AllowCredentials());
in Configure function. And services.AddCors() in ConfigureServices function.
I was able to fixed this quite easily with setting WithOrigins() or .SetIsOriginAllowed(_ => true) instead of AllowAnyOrigin() which does not work anymore with AllowCredentials().
After that, I was able to start the application and I thought everything is fine, but then I get stuck until now with problem I do not know, how to fix.
I have DB relation N:N and relation table which handle that, that means I have Admin entity with AdminProject list property, then I have AdminProject entity with Admin list and Project list properties and Project entity with AdminProject list property once again.
When I am listing my projects of certain admin, I am returning in Controller this return Ok(projects), where I just use getAll on AdminProject entity and then with Select return only project.
For that, I have to use[JsonIgnore] in project/admin for properties which I do not need to avoid cycling when creating json.
With that said: NOW IN .NET CORE 3.0 AND CORS SETTINGS IT DOES NOT WORK.
I am getting an error:

I think I tried almost everything with Cors settings etc and I do not know why is this happening now. I also tried to JsonConvert.SerializeObject() before return it ---> return Ok(JsonConvert.SerializeObject(projects)) and this is working, but I am not able (mentally) to do this in every single controllers functions.

The problem was occurring because in .NET Core 3 they change little bit the JSON politics. Json.Net is not longer supported and if you want to used all Json options, you have to download this Nuget: Microsoft.AspNetCore.Mvc.NewtonsoftJson.
After that in your Startup.cs file change/fix/add line where you are adding MVC (in the ConfigureServices method.
So: here is what I did and what fixed my issue:

.SetCompatibilityVersion(CompatibilityVersion.Version_3_0)
.AddNewtonsoftJson(opt => opt.SerializerSettings.ReferenceLoopHandling = ReferenceLoopHandling.Ignore);

A couple other things have changed in .net core 3 and now instead of using addMVC you can use addControllers. So your code might look like the follow:

The Spring ResponseBodyAdvice allows for handling the JSON-Response. I want to write it to the logger but by this would also like to add the name of the RestController being invoked in this transaction.
Can anyone tell, whether the classname is somewhere available in the parameters of the instance of ResponseBodyAdvice.
Got it. The parameter "MethodParameter" supplied to the "beforeBodyWrite"-method contains the attribute "containingClass" which provides the name of the intended Controller (I found this with testing - did not find any docs about the use of this attribute until now). That will do for me

Maybe my Couchbase server does not support this feature, whereas my repository expects it.
I might need to code my repository differently.
It's too bad it doesn't say which method is the invalid one here.
Or it is my using of the CrudRepository in the base class ?
I wonder how to find out which views it expects to find in my Couchbase server.
Repositories in Spring Data Couchbase 2.0 rely almost exclusively on Views and N1QL. A good chunk of the new features in this version are made possible by N1QL, which is now the default mechanism Spring Data uses for things like "query derivation" (implementing a repository method by producing some sort of query that is derived from the method name).
Couchbase Server 2.5.1 doesn't have access to N1QL (which came with Couchbase Server 4.0 and of course also in the brand new 4.1 version).
If you want Spring Data to implement findByUuid for you, you'll have to annotate that method with #View and create the appropriate view that emits uuids from your Answer documents.
View query derivations are heavily restricted and give you more work since you have to write the correct map function:
a repository method based on a view can only query with one criteria.
you have to create your view correctly, emitting the correct keys corresponding to the criteria you'll query with.
you have to create one view per entity class, restricting the view to only emit if the "_class" field in the JSON matches said entity (note: this field can be renamed in the configuration so make sure to use the relevant one).
So that means that your findByQuizIdAndStartTime cannot work either. You may have to implement this (and maybe findByUuid) in the BaseRepository, relying on the CouchbaseTemplate and using its findByView method (or even queryView as a last resort).
The UnsupportedCouchbaseFeatureException is mentioned in the M1 doc chapter 7 (on N1QL based querying).
