I have an access database with a report that contains several subreport. the problem is that the subreport keeps overlapping. I have used the Can Grow = Yes on all report and nothing works. however, when I'm in print preview the report loads fine but report view is where I'm having the problem. what can i do to fix this? thanks
PS. im using access 2007 and the database format is .mdb
I've found the answer on Microsoft's Website. I needed to install Office 2007 suite Service Pack 2 they have an excel sheet with all the changes under the section Downloadable list of issues that the service pack fixes on this page. :)

I'm hoping someone can help me with this question. I'm using SQL Server 2019, SSRS 2019, developing reports in Visual Studio 2019.
I've created SSRS subscriptions using the MHTML format so I can have show a report in the body of the email. The report is a dashboard with charts that link to sub reports. When the emails are sent recipients can hover over the charts and see the link path, and instructions telling them to select link to open report. However, selecting any of the links only opens SSRS home page.
I don't know why this is not working. Can anyone offer some advice?
Per Alan Schofield below Adding URL
http://sedona/Reports?%2FMIS%2FCopy%20of%20QuickTest&acctnbr=654321&rs%3AParameterLanguage=&rc%3AParameters=Collapsed
So, the root cause of tis problem was the URLRoot setting in rsconfig did not match the web service url. Changing the URLRoot setting resolved the linking problem. Alan Schofield, thankyou for your help and suggestions. Your comments put us on the right path to resolution.
If it helps anyone, I referenced the following about URLRoot
Edit URL Link to Report Server within SSRS Subscription
I'm really new to BIRT report developer. Right now, I need to get the API from my chart, which was created in a report, and past it to another web page. But, I really don't know how to do that, can anyone help me solve my problem?
I'm using BIRT PRO, and the only code I can get is from the XML source. I have to submit the report next week, so I'm very nervous. I will greatly appreciate for any help.
If you want to view content from the BIRT report in a browser you can do any of the following:
Deploy the BIRT runtime viewer with Tomcat - http://www.thegeekstuff.com/2014/12/deploy-birt-viewer-for-tomcat/.
Download the free F-Type server and put your BIRT report there, then you can use the "interactive viewer" web interface to show the entire report or use the JavaScript API to embed the entire report or just parts of the report in a web page. http://birt.actuate.com/products/birt-ihub-ftype
Run the report from BIRT Designer Professional and export the report as HTML content.
I'm maintaining a VBA application in Access and a big part of this program is to make PDF's and email. I've already coded to create a PDF with PDF995, but the problem is that it keeps prompting where to save and a bunch of other questions.
Is there any solution that allows me to create PDF's in the background without prompting the user anything? I know where it needs to be saved, I know how it's going to be named, so that's not the problem.
Which Access version are you using?
In Access 2007 and above you can create PDF files out of the box, without stuff like prompting where to save.
Here's an example:
Execute Access 2007 Report and Export that Report to PDF Programmatically?
Note that in Access 2007, you have to install an add-in in order for this to work!
For Access 2003 and below, there's Steven Lebans' ReportToPDF.
I am trying to use report manager to deploy report. I am newbie on SSRS.
When i opened report manager URL i see something like this.
So I could not find any way to upload rdl/create dataset etc. When I googled I got following image.
Here there are options to deploy report..what could be the reason I am not bale to see this?
First, if you are executing the report locally, you should Run the IE as Administrator and if the folders still are no shown you should configure the Site Settings and add the curent user.
I am using CRM 4 and have uploaded an ssrs report into the reports area. I published this for external use and in one of the entites have an iFrame that points to this published report.
This all works well, the problem is that if I update some of the info that the report is looking at and refresh the page the report doesn't update.
In fact I need to close the browser and re-open it of the report to refresh. This only happens in the iFrame, if I re-run the report in the reports section it updates correctly.
I assume this is because the info is cached somewhere. Does anybody know if there is a way to force CRM/SSRS to get the info afresh every time?
Thanks,
Neil
You need to add an additional parameter to the end of the URL used as the IFRAME source
&rs:ClearSession=true
This forces a refresh of the report each time it is accessed.
