I have one web application. I have to know the Geolocation(Longitude & Latitude) of Clients who are using my web application? As per my understanding, I can do it using Html5 Geolocation Apis. But the problem in this scenario is this that it requires client permission. So is there any way I can do it without client permission?
Please let me know if my understanding is wrong about Html5 Geolocation Apis.

You can load a local database to query geolocation by IP address. No user intervene required because the web server can retrieve the IP address in every connection.

Have you tried the Google Geocoding API? Its pretty much useful and accurate as well.
Also, you can use the Google Maps API for the same purpose. Refer to an example here.
I'm not sure if I understand 100% your question but for geo location ip tracks for web you can use Google Analytics and give you all information you need.

I have a web app and have successfully configured it to access google maps from this URL outside the JavaScript API using this URL:

The app uses the imagery as background in a PDF report that members of the public can download - this is going to be a free service.
I contacted Google Maps support to ask them if this was allowed under their Terms of Services Agreement but they have referred me to here.

I have been reading about Google apikey but I steel have doubts, I’m writing a program where I need to use Google maps and specifically geometry library, I’m going to sell this program. The user not going to use the program so much (just 10 request maximum “thinking about usage limits”), and the program is not for a web, is just intranet! So the doubt is: does I really need to have an apikey? And if so… what I need to do?

I am trying to create an application in HTML5 that attempts to determine a list of Wifi access points in range of the user's device. I've done some research and discovered that Google's geolocation API sends a

I have yet to find, however, any resources that look into if the possibility of obtaining information such as SSID, MAC address, etc for a developer using the API. Is this possible, and if so, could you redirect me to another source or explain how to retrieve them? Even the documentation for the API does not specify how to retrieve the information that Google uses to determine geolocation. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

As far as I know, there is no public API to retrieve the SSID, MAC address in HTML5. It is being implemented inside the browser to pass it to the location service provider.
You can only get the information unless you wrote your own native application.
A team I work with is currently in an unfortunate situation. They've spent a lot of time integrating the google map control on their site but they didn't discover that to run google maps on a https site you must license the control (and it isn't cheap) and the same goes for bing maps.
So my question is do you know of any cheaper/free map controls like google or bing maps?

In version 3 of the API, HTTPS support is now free.
Why can't they put the google maps part on a non-secure page or frame? The google licence says that you must have it on a publicly accessible site to benefit from the free version of the licence, so even on a http site, you may still need to pay for the data.
All other mapping tools are dependant on the expensive map source data, so you'll not find any. The exception is OpenStreetMap which uses community-supplied map data.
MapQuest's API allows SSL usage through the free license.
I was looking into this and found this post - you can use Bing maps over ssl with no problems, and it seems to work fine.
For the danish users I found the following VisKort component on SoftwareBørsen. It looks like it is based on OpenStreetMap, but I'm not sure.

Did you take a look at the Google Visualization API? Specifically, the intensity map and the geomap.
I know there are a few of these services available. Try a google search for 'ip visitor geolocation' and similar combinations.
One that looks interesting is hostip.info as they have a community-maintained IP geolocation database that you can download in full if you wish to roll your own map.
They also provide a service where you can upload your logs to generate a little map image if you don't want to do the work yourself.
We recently added a feature for this to our EmbeddedAnalytics service. It is all based on your Google Analytics data and utilizes Google's Exp API for the data.
