Windows Phone 8.1 app won't run in Emulator - windows-phone-8

I am getting this error
Package could not be registered.
When I try to run my 8.1 Silverlight app in the emulator.
I have no errors in any of the event logs for AppxDeploy either.
This was a 7.1 app I upgraded to 8.0. Then upgraded to 8.1.
I am using Visual Studio 2013 (V12) Update 2 RC.
I will be active on this post and will return if more information is needed.

Wrong Product ID and Publisher ID in the WMAppManifest.xml file for the project.
Use the ones found in your App and Account summary pages in Dev Center, and it should work fine.

Have you updated the capabilities in the WMAppManifest.xml? You need to make sure that you update the namespaces in the existing manifest with the update namespace from Windows Phone 8.1 SDK.

How to get store certificate for Win phone 8.1 app?

i have a question about certificate for windows phone 8.1 Universal app.
I passed these steps but certificate wasn't appeare in project:
I open it in Visual Studio 2015.
Right click project and choose Store=>Associate app with store
I log in my microsoft developer account and choose app from the list
I checke information about Publisher, Package and so on and press next
After these steps Package.StoreAssociation.xml is created, but AppName_StoreKey.pfx isn't.
Please, help me. What should I do to get AppName_StoreKey.pfx certificate.
(I don't need test certificate).
Thank you.
For my experience, only Windows 8.1 app project will contain a TemporaryKey.pfx file. If you create a universal Windows 8.1 app, it will include an AppName.Windows_TemporaryKey.pfx file under the Windows 8.1 project but not Windows Phone 8.1. This should also apply to the _StoreKey.pfx.
But it won't make effect on your package submission. Just make sure you have associated your app with the Store, the identity info will be aligned automatically. You can still manage to upload your package:

Also, you can check the two Windows universal 8.1 package manifests in designer.
The Windows 8.1 package manifest have the choose certificate option while Windows phone 8.1 does not:

How to port Windows Store 8.1 apps to Windows 10?

I have developed few apps in windows store 8.1 and i want to port them to windows 10.
Previously when windows 8.1 has released, In Visual Studio when you open the windows store 8 app code, in the solution we had an option called target to windows store 8.1, then it takes care of everything.
Now how to Port Windows store 8.1 apps to Windows 10 using C# and xaml
Any help or any article on this please?
Thanks in advance
The best way to do this is to create a new Windows 10 project based on the universal template and then copy all the source files and assets to it. There's a detailed description on MSDN here:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/dn705768.aspx
and here:

0) Install Win10 RTM
OK? =)
(But, If you just want to bulid the UWP project, Win8.1 is also ok. But you can't use the xaml designer, inspector, etc.... I can't recomend this way)
1) Install VS2015 RTM and Win10SDK RTM.
By default, Win10SDK is NOT installed. You should select the Win10 SDK from installation option dialog.
1.5) Update NuGET 3.1.
You can see the Flag Icon on the top-right corner of VS2015 Window. Click it to install Nuget Update.
2) Migrate your solution and project.
You should modify your .csproj manually with this guide.
Migrate apps to the Universal Windows Platform (UWP)
After that, you can build your app with VS2015.
Note - if you got the thousands of compile error, try Installing following nuget package from nuget console.
Microsoft.NETCore.UniversalWindowsPlatform
3) Modifying your app to suit for UWP manner
Following pages helps you.
Move from Windows Runtime 8 to UWP
Porting Windows Runtime 8 XAML and UI to UWP

Visual Studio Error: DEP6250

everytime I try to start my app on my Lumia 1020 I get this error:
Error: DEP6250 : The Device runs on a not supported version of the OS
(I translated it from german...)
I "unlocked" my phone a few minutes ago so I think that this won't be the problem.
I also searched for an update but everything is fine...
I used the free Visual Studio express 2013 for store developers
Does anyone have ideas?
Your problem is that you are probably trying to deploy a Windows Phone 8.1 app to a device running Windows Phone 8.0. That is not possible. You need to Either create a Windows Phone 8.0 app and run it on the device or update your device to Windows Phone 8.1 in order to run WP8.1 apps. Windows Phone 8.0 apps will work on WP8.1 but the other way around will not happen.

Windows phone 8.1 app deployment error :Error-package failed updates, dependency or conflict validation

This is what exactly is did:
Installed windows phone 8.0 SDK.
Installed windows phone 8.1 SDK(By first installing VS 2013 professional edition and later installing update R2).
After that 8.1 application xap deployment is failing
Unable to deploy xap on windows 8.1 phone using 8.1 deployment tool “Error-package failed updates, dependency or conflict validation”
The phone i am using is 8.1 updated
Can you please let me know if iam missing something?
Thanks in advance
Using Windows Phone Application Deployment (8.1), I just ran into same issue. I had tried to install an appx package which was built for Store in Release Mode.
I then realised I was trying to install an ARM build onto the emulator which needs an x86 build to run.
So instead I deployed the ARM Release Mode .appx to a physical device so I could test what I needed to test.
Hope this helps!
Not a real answer but an un-explained work around. I've recently started developing against windows phone. I am working on a Windows 8.1 machine that was previously a Windows 8 machine, previously using VS 2012 to develop against WP 8 and now using VS 2013 to develop for WP 8.1.
At intervals I start to receive the same error as reported by the question, both when deploying our WP 8.1 app to an emulator and when trying to run or debug our WP 8.1 unit tests. So far it's been resolved each time by restarting VS 2013 (and the emulator). Restarting the emulator alone has sometimes been sufficient but not always. I have not checked whether it works against a concrete device. More significantly I have no idea why deployment breaks or stopping/starting resolves it...
Our application and unit tests are WP 8.1 silver light projects and use SQLite.

How do you set up Windows Ads in Windows 8.1 MonoGame Store apps?

I'm using MonoGame to create a Windows Store game based on sprites but when I right-click my project and try to add pubCenter integration in as a connected service it doesn't have the option to add any connected services.
That being said, how would you add pubCenter Windows Ads in to MonoGame applications?
I am using Windows 8.1 and Visual Studio 2013, with the latest Advertising SDK extension installed correctly on my machine.
Whoops, looks like I forgot to set my project's Target Platform Version to Windows 8.1! Hope this helps other people out; the latest build (as of right now) enables your platform to only Windows 8 by default.
