How to get mod_mono.so in Mac OS X 10.9 - monodevelop

I have installed MONO from http://monodevelop.com/Download and installed the Mono framework MRE and MDK. I am trying to get this to work in Apache on OS X 10.9. I see I need the mod_mono.so for Apache but I can not see it in the downloads section. How do I get or compile mod_mono.so for Apache?

I am a novice with mono but followed some instructions. I downloaded and installed everything from here:
http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html
To get Apache to work with mod_mono.so I downloaded source from this page:
http://download.mono-project.com/sources/mod_mono/
You have to compile it. I went into the unpacked directory and wrote this in termminal:
./configure --prefix=/usr
make
sudo make install
This puts the mod_mono.so in correct Apache dir and the mod_mono.conf file. To include it you must add this to your httpd.conf (I put it at the end of the file):
# mod_mono_configuration
Include /etc/apache2/mod_mono.conf
MonoServerPath /Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/Versions/Current/bin/mod-mono-server2

CUDA 7.5 install on Mac missing nvrtc

According to the documentation, when I install the CUDA 7.5 Toolkit on my Mac (OSX 10.11) I should get the nvrtc files with it. I do not. Where do I pick up the nvrtc header files and libraries? Were they supposed to be in the bundle and left out? Were the deprecated or replaced with something else?
So the trick is:
1) Install XCode (from the App Store) FIRST. After the App Store is done installing it, you have to go into your Application menu and actually run it and accept the license.
2) Use the Homebrew version:
$ brew install Caskroom/cask/cuda
3) Lastly, you can update your PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH to find the new code:
$ export PATH=/usr/local/cuda/bin:${PATH}
$ export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/cuda/lib:${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}
For some reason, simply downloading the package from NVidia and installing it does not get you a complete installation.

How to installing Pygame for Python 3.5 via pip?

I'm trying to install Pygame for python 3.5 32bit. I have learned that I can open the .whl files provided on the site by using the pip command. The problem is I've tried multiple ways doing this but with constant error.
python -m pip install pygame-1.9.2a0-cp35-none-win32.whl
'python' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
The file I'm trying to install: pygame-1.9.2a0-cp35-none-win32.whl
My python program is located in my programs folder and everything else works fine.
You need to add python.exe to your Windows PATH variable.
The is the system variable that the operating system uses to locate the needed executables from the command line or Terminal windows. [1]
Actually there are many methods to set the PATH variable on windows. One way is to type
set PATH=%PATH%;location path of Python.exe
into the windows command-line interpreter (cmd):
set PATH=%PATH%;C:\Python35-32
Now -- before running the pip command -- you need to make sure that either
your working directory is set to the same folder where your pygame-1. ... in32.whl file is located
or
you supply the full absolute or relative path to the pip command.
Now you should be able to run your python -m pip command after restarting the cmd.exe.
if you get trouble when install pygame error about missing visual studio 10+. I have the answer: the problem is not about have or not have visual studio, because I try many version but it not work. The problem is file: between tar.gz and .whl so, this is the solution:
1) download file:
http://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#pygame go here and download your pygame version, notice about x64 or x86 and python version. my system is x64 and python is 3.4 so I choose: pygame-1.9.2a0-cp34-none-win_amd64.whl
2) put it in some where to install:
I put it in "C:", so open cmd: and type: cd C:\ (this changes the location to C:)
3) install
pip install C:\pygame-1.9.2a0-cp34-none-win_amd64.whl
done !

Building a C project on Ubuntu linux has error 'mysql/mysql.h no such file'

I know it's a stupid question but I'm new to Ubuntu. The C files in the project build ok but then I get the error
mysql/mysql.h no such file or directory.
I've tried installing mysql server using apt-get but I still get the same error.
is there something else I should install to see the mysql files ?
You need to install the libmysqlclient-dev package.
On Windows eclipse mingw32, the include path mysql/mysql.h is not working either. I have to use mysql.h without path but with Properties > C/C++ General > Path and Symbols > Includes adding the exact directory where mysql.h resides.
Its probably a problem of path delimiters on windows though I have tested both \ and /.

location of octave header files

I am trying to use Octave as an external solver in my C/C++ code.
I read here that one needs to include the octave/oct.h header file. However I am not able to find it on my computer. I have searched everywhere including the octave root directory version 3.0.5.
What should I do?
I found it in my Octave 3.2.2 installation in Windows: C:\Octave\3.2.2_gcc-4.3.0\include\octave-3.2.2\octave.
Are you using another operating system? If so, you may need to install the headers separately. For example, Ubuntu 10.10 has a separate octave3.2-headers package.
If you are using Windows and your Octave installation does not have the headers, you could try upgrading to 3.2.2 or greater. I got the Windows installer from Octave-Forge.
For newer versions on Ubuntu, e.g., Octave 3.8.1, the package you must install to get the headers is now called liboctave-dev
The include folder of the Octave 4.0.0 installed on Ubuntu can be found at /usr/include/octave-4.0.0/octave.

APE Install Missing File

After installing from the RPM and then trying the Binary versions of APE (AJAX Push Engine) I am getting this error (on both versions) when I try to run the APE server:
[Module] Failed to load ../modules/libmod_spidermonkey.so [Invalid library] (libmysqlclient_r.so.15: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
I am using Fedora Linux, with MySql and apache installed. How can I get this libmysqlclient file? I have found this RPM: http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/12471829/dir/fedora_4/com/mysqlclient15-5.0.67-1.fc4.remi.i386.rpm.html
And it says it includes this file, so I downloaded it to the box, attempted to install and tells me that it's already installed.
Any advice would help thanks!
Inside the ape.conf there's a module working directory which must be altered.
