I am relatively new to windows phone app development. I am building a twitter based application and trying to read replies to a specific tweet.Been trying to do it hard without any luck :( i am using hammock api.
a discussion at this link https://dev.twitter.com/discussions/293 shows that we can do it with version 1 of twitter api which is now deprecated.
Replies to a particular tweet, Twitter API this link also shows a similar solution in version 1 but nothing for 1.1. I am able to post, retweet but not able to read replies.Looking for any version 1.1 solutions. Thanks.

I have built an indoor location ios app using Estimote SDK and its working fine. Now I want to see all the users in same location to be able to see each other in App.
Any suggestions on how to do that. Please comment and let me know if anything is not clear about the question
Here's one example how we did it using IndoorAtlas & PubNub service. Does not require any logic on the server side and allows you to tap into the location stream from several different types of clients such as mobile or browser. You should be able to do it in similar way using Estimote.

I would like to use Telegram API for Windows Phone 8. Though unlike other platforms, Telegram doesn't provide source code for Windows Phone. This is unfortunate because it creates a lot of problems for those who want to use it. From my research people mention using REST Service to accomplish that. Though no one showed any exact solution for how to accomplish it. I also read about using RPC calls to accomplish it. I don't know how to do that and I would greatly appreciate someone who could explain step by step to how to implement Telegram in ones app. Big Thanks!
If you need to see source code of an app using the Telegram API you should take a look at github.
There are a lot of apps there using this API:
API, Protocol documentation
Documentation for Telegram API is available here: http://core.telegram.org/api
Documentation for MTproto protocol is available here: http://core.telegram.org/mtproto
Take a look at this one https://telegram.org/apps#telegram-for-wp
You can browser their source code there downloading the zip. Unfortunatelly Stackoverflow does not permit we post a step by step walkthrough of using an API.
Is there a way to get the following data from the windows phone store without having to parse whole HTML page (I got the app ID)?

I am in big dilemma for last few days while studying paypal API for creating an HTML5 based hybrid app that needs to use paypal api for carrying out some transactions.
What I need is I want to use some Paypal API in HTML5 based mobile app, that will finally get bundled into some native app, say for example .apk files.
The problem is :
I have not found a single link that explains that if the paypal provides any api for hybrid app.
I have read their new buttons, name value api, etc. Will any of these will work in my current application when they get deployed as an .apk for android? The thing that makes me worry is that paypal needs redirectURL, so what it will do incase of single page app?
Any links or references are welcome!
I would highly suggest you try Cordova for your App. It does HTML5 in an app format and works very well.
I don't know that you would want to make API calls but your HTML buttons would definitely work. Paypal also has a plugin that would work as well (Cordova is also called Phonegap).
PhoneGap/Cordova will be my recommendation for any hybrid mobile apps.
PayPal has an official plugin for PhoneGap with Android SDK.
