I am using ActiveXObject/NameCtrl plug-in to integrate link into my web page (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/tomholl/archive/2013/03/02/integrate-lync-into-your-intranet-sites-using-the-namectrl-plug-in.aspx). Is it possible to add a title to Lync message and subject to email messages when these buttons are clicked from Lync contact card? I have not found a way to do this yet.
No, not using NameCtrl. You'd need to run a client side app using the Lync SDK/Outlook SDK have control over the title and subjects

I am building a Shopify store and have created my own custom Popup with HTML, CSS and JS. I also have an app on Shopify for sending emails, however, I want the app to send an email to a person when they submit their email via the popup, does anyone have any idea how to connect to an app in Shopify through my own custom HTML popup?
Thanks
Assuming the pop up form is correctly configured to post the new contact to your Klaviyo subscriber list, you could accomplish this by having a Welcome Series setup. I did a quick Google search and found this guide to setting up a Welcome Series with Klaviyo.
I want to send an image via the Whatsapp Click to Chat URL. Sending Text is easy.
https://wa.me/?text=LoremIpsum
When I click this link, it opens WhatsApp, and I can select which contact I want to send the message.
Now my question is, if its possible to also send an image through this URL. (maybe with an ?media=https://cdn.example.com/image.jpg parameter). The goal is to send an email to customers and let them click on a link so they can send an image from us to their friends.
Do I need WhatsApp Business for this? Or isn't it possible?
Thanks for any answer.
This is impossible with uri, but you can use Intents on android or use Navigator.share() method on webpages using javascript:
Android Intent: https://developer.android.com/training/sharing/send
Web Share: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Navigator/share
There are similar ways for other operating systems such as iOS, Windows, ...
I'm trying to build a Facebook Messenger bot using the Chatfuel platform but I came to a halt. I can't find anything about displaying the "Buy" button via the JSON API block. I'm trying to use the Stripe version, not the native FB Messenger purchase feature as the users will be outside of US. Now the button works fine when adding it using the Chatfuel's UI but I can't figure out how to show the Buy button via JSON API.
How should the JSON template look like? What tags do I need? I've been trying to use the examples from the official FB Messenger docs but nothing works, I end up getting the An error in JSON plugin has occurred / Unable to parse JSON message.
Can anyone please guide me in the right direction on how the JSON template should look like in order to display a buy button?
Many thanks!
Apparently there is no way to achieve this at the moment. I've got this answer in the Chatfuel FB support group:
"Unfortunately not possible. You'll have to use a Chatfuel redirect to a buy block or use a webview or create a normal buy button with a link to your checkout process behind it."
So I want to create a facebook feed to connect for my facebook, from what I understand all I need is a Like Box, but when I put in what information I want on the like box it says "Include the JavaScript SDK on your page once, ideally right after the opening tag." The SDK wants an "app ID", but I don't want to make an app, I just want facebook feeds to show up on my web site. Is there any way to 'not' make an app and just use the like box on my website?
Visit https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-box-for-pages while logged out. Then you won't be required to have an App ID.
I am developing a web app which I need to open a particular app. I have found this site: http://handleopenurl.com/ which gives some of the app url. But there isn't the app that I want, which is PolyCom RealPresence.
How can I get any app url which is not in that site.
I have tried the following:
99845075 <!-- Works -->
New SMS Message <!-- Works -->
ITunes <!-- Works -->
PolycOM <!-- Do not Work -->
Thanks,
Mark
a Polycom rep says the only way to call in the app is IP dialing only (basic mode), or with alias or IP based (pro mode) - custom URL scheme to open the app and direct a specific call is not supported as of June 2013
see Polycom rep answer identical question here on their forums - http://community.polycom.com/t5/RealPresence-Mobile/Is-it-possible-for-the-RealPresence-Mobile-iOS-to-dial-URL/td-p/13480
Check out Implementing Custom URL Schemes in iOS App Programming Guide: Advanced App Tricks.
If the third party app in question implements a custom URL scheme, you need to figure out what it is and use that. Otherwise, I'm afraid you're out of luck.
