Refresh the top (active) tab with autohotkey - google-chrome

I have never used it, and after few attempts I feel like i will never get this. I feel this little program has potential but after finding out chrome has multiple child windows i don't think i know what's going on so please help...
I need a script that reloads the page on the current tab of chrome whenever i press Ctrl+R without switching to chrome and then little variation of that key to actually switch and refresh. Like lets say Numpad 1 for just refresh and Numpad 2 for switch and refresh.

Adding on to BGM...
Google Chrome - Hotkeys
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/157179?hl=en
Activates the Google Chrome window
WinActivate,ahk_class Chrome_WidgetWin_1
Switches to the next tab.
ControlSend,,{Ctrl Down}{Tab}{Ctrl Up},ahk_class Chrome_WidgetWin_1
Switches to the previous tab.
ControlSend,,{Ctrl Down}{Shift Down}{Tab}{Shift Up}{Ctrl Up},ahk_class Chrome_WidgetWin_1
Ctrl+R : Reloads your current page.
ControlSend,,{Ctrl Down}r{Ctrl Up},ahk_class Chrome_WidgetWin_1
F5 : Reloads your current page.
ControlSend,,{F5},ahk_class Chrome_WidgetWin_1

Here is, basically, what you need to do:
Create a hotkey to run a sub.
Set Chrome as the active window (this will "switch") to Chrome.
Send the hotkey for refresh (usually F5)
If you can scramble a sample script together and post it, I'll help you debug it.

How can I close tabs related to the extension when browser closes

I need to close tabs related to the extension, like tabs with url chrome-extension://<extension-id>/index.html, when a browser closes
In the background script, I tried to close tabs with chrome.tabs.remove function when chrome.windows.onRemoved event fired, but looks like it fires too late when tabs not available. Also, because Chrome doesn't open immediately, I tried to use chrome.windows.onCreated event, but turned out it only worked on my computer with Windows and didn't work on Mac.
Am I doing something wrong or maybe there is another way to close them, like adding a script on every page that will be executed when the browser closes?

How to get warning massage when clicking close(X) button of browser with tabs in Google Chrome

How to get a warning massage if i accidently click the close button of the chrome browser which have multiple tabs opened at that time?
I am a regular user of Crome and having this problem while using it. I normally open multiple tabs inside a single browser but sometimes i accidently click the close button of browser and as soon as the button is clicked crome does't give any warning issue about multiple active tabs and close the entire window.
Is the end user like me is browsing on normal crome window then he can open the websites again by checking the web history but if he is browsing inside private browser then he can't do anything(this happens with me very regularly because i normally browse in private browser). On the other hand if you accidently click the close button in mozilla which have multiple tabs open it throws a warning massage to the user and asks for his wish.
Go find an extension called "Keep One Pinned Tab". It may not be exactly the function you need, but if you search for other extensions, I am sure there is such an extension that does just that. If you can't find one, I suggest to learn how to develop extensions and make one yourself, you can share it with others when it's done.

Don't show run tab after launch in Android Studio

I'm developing apps in Android Studio. But everytime I hit Run button, the Run tab pops up automatically from bottom with messages like Installing com.packagename etc..., Success, Launching
I've already disabled automatic displayin of Android DDMS tab (because I use DDMS from toolbar which opens new window) by editing configurations. But I can't disable this stupid automatic Run tab showing.
Is there any way to do this ?
There is no standard way of achieving this but I found an interesting workaround mentioned below and using the same.
When your run tab is opened, Instead of hiding it using right-top corner button, Drag it till it hides.
Like in picture shown below
Now Run your project run window wont appear, When you want it back click on run button in horizontal bar.
Working perfectly for me .
In case anyone still struggling with this annoying thing, there is a way to disable this annoying popup.
Note: this will remove the run tab altogether.
So basically go to your Run/Debug configuration and Uncheck Activate tool window at the bottom.
This gets rid of the Run tab.

Assign the Shortcut key for Chrome Extension Option page

How can I assign my Google chrome extension option page with shortcut key.
The following works almost as good as a shortcut,
Go to location bar, press Ctrl+L
Type "ce" OR "cs",
Press Enter.
After setting it up as follows,
What I do is, I set them up as search engines on
chrome://settings/searchEngines
Name - Shortcut - URL Chrome Extensions - ce - chrome://extensions/
Name - Shortcut - URL Chrome Settings - cs - chrome://settings/
http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/hqYtz15LrgQ
Hope this helps!
Currently there is no better way other than injecting content script to all pages with keypress listener. As you would imagine this approach not only isn't very effective, but wouldn't work on some pages (chrome://newtab would be the most annoying one).
Unless assigning a shortcut to your options page is crucial, I wouldn't bother doing it.
I think the options page is meant to be open only from the extension control panel links. However, to solve the shortcut part of the problem you can use the new commands API which will free you from having javascript listeners injected on every page. The shortcuts will work even if you don't have a page loaded in your tab.
You could use this autohotkey script:
#IfWinActive, ahk_class Chrome_WidgetWin_1 ; Shortcut functions only on Chrome
^q::Send, ^t chrome://extensions/ {enter} ; functioning script
#IfWinActive
The second line is the script and means that if you press Ctrl+q (^ stays for Crtl) the script opens a new Tab (Ctrl+t), type the address (chrome://extensions/) and press enter.
You can change the shortcut key changing what is before the ::.
Then I suggest you to put the file .exe in the startup folder.

How to remove all breakpoints in one step in Google Chrome?

How to remove all breakpoints in one step in Google Chrome? Using version 11.
[update]
There is now a feature request for this.
[update]
The feature request is closed (Dec 2011)!
This is now possible in Sources tab of Chrome Developer Tools.
Please see screen grab below and right click within the "Breakpoints" section of the left window.
Since recently (Chrome 18), you can right-click any breakpoint in the Breakpoints pane and voila! The "Remove All JavaScript Breakpoints" popup menu item!
Chrome Devtools crashed everytime I tried to access the Sources panel because of a breakpoint on a minified Javascript file.
To remove all breakpoints without access to the interface, you can do the following:
Open inspector-on-inspector : undock first inspector and hit ctrl+shift+i to open the second
On the inspector-on-inspector console, execute the following:
window.localStorage.breakpoints = [];
Close the inspectors and reload the page. Now the breakpoints are gone.
Under Sources, you can click button marked with red on picture below or use shortcut Ctrl + F8 just like tool tip is showing (activate / deactivate breakpoints). A little bit lower under 'Breakpoints' you will see all your breakpoints. If you choose to disable all, they will be grayed out.
solution here.
To purge all breakpoints open inspector on inspector (undock first
inspector and hit ctrl-shift-I to open the second) and run
"WebInspector.settings.domBreakpoints.set([])" in second inspector's
console.
new Tabs; Ctrl+Shift+J to Console; Access URL
Open the Chrome task manager and end the tab page.
Ctrl+Shift+J to Application -> Service Workers (Offiline) -> Refresh
to Sources Cancel Breakpoint
Success
Another option is to de-activate all break points using:
Ctrl + F8
In my case Uninstall and new installation of Chrome was without any success.
Also window.localStorage.clear() did not help.
My "last chance solution" is to remove entire directory where Chrome is storing its data.
First turn off your Chrome.
Then look at this path "c:\Users\ {your_user} \AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage\". Here try to delete all what is in this directory.
You can also clear all inspector settings and reload the inspector. It helped me with fantom breakpoint I could not remove in any other way. Open inspector and go to Preferences -> Sync -> Restore defaults and reload (at the bottom).
Step 1: Go to Developer tools and expand Breakpoint section
Step 2: Right click on expanded area of breakpint and there will be many options lik
