I currently have a free nitrous.io account with a single box that runs off of N2O I acquired simply by signing up and getting other people to sign up. If I start on the $10/mo pay plan (so that I can avoid having my box automatically shut off) and after a few months decide I don't want the pay plan, will I lose my box and/or N2O, or will I just revert back to the situation I have now?

This question is out of scope for StackOverflow support and should probably be locked, but as it hasn't been yet, here's the answer:
You do lose your N2O. In their help area under Billing/N2O Renewal it says the following:
The N2O you acquire through your subscription is yours to keep while you remain subscribed. You will only lose purchased N2O capacity if you cancel your subscription.
That being said, it's not clear if you also lose boxes that would exceed the free level of N2O. I suspect it might let a box linger but they'll probably catch on quickly and ask you to remove a box before they do it for you.

My Google account was hacked, and my popular (~200k users) extension was stolen and transferred to a malicious account. The extension was updated with new code and my users are being automatically updated.
I've tried to contact Google 3 different ways, but no response so far. What's the best way to quickly shut down the stolen extension, and get ownership back to me?
I don't want the extension listing and id to be just deleted, because I want to retain all my existing users and thousands of positive reviews.
Has anyone had success with a particular method of contacting Google? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I want to set up a honeypot type trap to catch out and secretly record a tech support scam firm that conned my Grandparents out of a lot of money for a non issue on their computer. Like many such scam firms, they occasionally change their web address and phone numbers and are partially based in India.
I was thinking about running Windows 7 inside a virtual machine and using a SOCKS proxy for the VM's internet connection to hide my true Static IP.
I am then planning to make a video about the scammers and put it on YouTube.
The thing is though, I am doubting whether that I can legally record a conversation in a covert manner and then put it on YT. (In UK)
What I really want to know is whether the scammers will be able to get my private license key, or any other identifiable information from the VM when they have control of it? Also does them having the product ID (including them going through Microsoft) put my license/copy of Windows in jeopardy?
I ideally want to bring them to justice and spread the word about them so that they get closed down. In other words, I want to get my own back on them.
Side Note: If this forum is not appropriate for this question, where would be?

they can easily know that you run on a VM. Just with simple command about your hardware. But, I am sure they will not check if it is a honey pot.I dont know how you are planning to record them. I dont believe that you can record something interesting visually. The first step for them is to have a rootkit on your pc. After that is just about command line. There will be nothing good to record visually other that text line in your honey pot software. And You dont know when the attack you will come. Your Vm must be up all the time and the Ip and Mac address the same. Like the others say dont waste your time.No one in history a been put in jail for hacking a honey pot.

I've come across the phrase multiple times the past month or so, usually when talking about functionality. Is this any different than saying 'built-in', or carry with it any specific connotations?
From dictionary.com:
a. (Computers) to incorporate (a feature) as part of a
system or piece of software or hardware while it is still in
development: The location-tracking service is baked in the new app.
Security features come baked into the operating system.
b. To include
as an inseparable or permanent part: Baked into the price of the
product is the cost of advertising.
Your assumptions are correct. It pretty much means that you don't have to do anything special to install this functionality. It's built in. Already there.
Other variants are:
Rolled in
Built in
Native

What is the effort to migrate an Access 2003 Application to Access 2007? Are there any problems converting mdb to accdb? Which modifications must be done?
This would be entirely based on the application being migrated, and is impossible for anyone to answer. It's like asking "How much will it cost to modernize the kitchen in my house?". Without knowing a lot more (what needs to be done, what kind of new appliances you want, the selection of cabinets, countertops and flooring you'd like, the labor and material costs in your area, the condition of the existing structure), it's impossible to predict.
Just migrate it, and deal with issues that come up. Make sure to back up the original application completely; if everything gets ruined, just restore from the backup and start over (or leave it as an Access 2003 app).
While it's true that it's a bit of an open question, there are some guidelines that will help you decide on how difficult it will be. Take a look at this:
http://www.sagekey.com/support_forum.aspx?g=posts&t=393
Since none of my DB's that I have upgraded involve the major pitfalls described in that article, I have had very little issues. One I did just last night took me about 30 minutes.

I am slowly starting to build myself a small game engine using openGL and C++ and I thought it would be kinda nice to make it open source for the time being, problem is that I may want to eventually market it once I add in more unique or detailed features. I know most licenses for open source software state that future versions must also be open source, but given that it would be my program, would I be allowed to eventually stop making it open source?
Depend on the Open Source License you use and the way you set up your project. You could use the BSD/MIT licence and then you don't have the viral problem of the GPL/LGPL (but not the advantages either). You can also leave your main engine Open & Free and just sell your unique features.
There is many ways!
