CSS full screen website page - html

I am trying to make a full screen website that has on the right a fullscreen image and on the left an vertical menu and a logo.
The html & css code that I managed to build so far is this, but I do not know how to make the whole website to be fullscreen:

var fullscreen = false;
var viewFullScreen = document.getElementById("fullscreen");
var exitFullScreen = document.getElementById("roadmap-fullscreen-exit-button");
addFullscreenEventListener(viewFullScreen);
addFullscreenEventListener(exitFullScreen);

if (elem) {
elem.addEventListener("click", function () {
if(fullscreen){
var docElm = document.documentElement;
if (docElm.requestFullscreen) {
docElm.requestFullscreen();
}
else if (docElm.mozRequestFullScreen) {
docElm.mozRequestFullScreen();
}
else if (docElm.webkitRequestFullScreen) {
docElm.webkitRequestFullScreen();
}
}else{
if (document.exitFullscreen) {
document.exitFullscreen();
}
else if (document.mozCancelFullScreen) {
document.mozCancelFullScreen();
}
else if (document.webkitCancelFullScreen) {
document.webkitCancelFullScreen();
}
}

can i let a fixed text dissapear after the banner?

At the moment i have a fixed text, and a fixed navbar in my banner.
i would like the text to dissapear after the banner image. the navbar is alright to stay fixed for the entire page. but i would prefer the text to disappear after the image! is there a way to set a boundary for a fixed element. or else is there a way to get the fixed text on the background so it will not appears over my main content but rather behind it. Thanks guy's!!

Hyperlink image link boundary

I have three social media images in a div at the bottom of the page. I have them placed center of the div but when i add the link to the image it pushes the other images away and the area around the image is linked as well.
On other sites I have not had this issues so I am not sure what is going on
Thanks

Try remove padding attribute you added for link at line :

Btw : please reformat your code. It's to bad :(

Can't get text to float over background image

I need the text "Relax.Revive.Renew..." to be on top of the background image, right under the header. At the moment it stays at the bottom of the image. I was able to place it there by putting inside the header tag, but the header is sticky, and I need it to scroll with the background.

Sorry, it won't let me post an image.
Thank you!
You're not using your image as a background image, you're using an inline-image:
<img src="images/homePic.jpg" width="100%" height="592" alt="Big Image" />
I swapped it into the background of your section (named the class background) and did a tiny bit of styling: http://codepen.io/anon/pen/gbXrYv
Try using the z-index CSS attribute. This basically sets the layer on the page that the element is on. Once you set that, you can do one of two things:
position: absolute
top: -(x)px
or...
margin-top: -(x)px;
I hope this helps :)

Setting height and width of image to be viewed in firefox only

I am making a fluid layout for a website. All elements on the home page of the website look correct when I view it on Safari or Chrome but when I try to view it on FireFox, the logo and the container for the logo become very big and it takes up more space than what I have set for it.

How do I get the layout to show properly in Firefox?
Try to put double quotes around the 100px in the img tag and remove the px:
<div id="logoBlock" class= "grid_4">
<img width="100" src="../img/IshiharaPlate3.svg" alt="Logo" />
</div>
EDIT: Thanks #RichardB
The width of your block and image are both set to 100%, and so are filling the full width of the browser window.
Your inline style says you want the logo to be 100px.
If that is the case then change
#logoBlock img {
width: 100%;
to
#logoBlock img {
width: 100px;
If it is supposed to be a more responsive in its size, then you may want to look at max-width, which allows it to expand only up to a specified point.
As to why it was working in Chrome - my guess is that they are choosing the inline style over the css one (Rems code fix should also be applied).
