I know only how to create one folder at a time in my Aptana web project. Can I create multipl folders at a time ? That is, create my project structure in one go ?
You can achieve this task by creating a
batch file or using ant files
For an example crate a skeleton of the folder structure in C:/skeleton and you can copy this structure to aptana's work space y running your batch/ant file
For batch file creation, refer the following link,
batch file
And for ant file creation, refer the following link,
ant file

Using Liquid, I am trying to build a JSON object (skills.json) containing data from all of my Jekyll posts.
When I place this file in my _data folder in my project root directory per https://jekyllrb.com/docs/datafiles/, trying to access the data via site.data.skills with the inspect filter or console log resolves to nothing.
final output section of my Liquid json
When I instead place my skills.json file in the /assets/js/ folder in my root, I do see that the properly populated JSON file is added to my _site folder as expected. Copying this NEW file into the root _data folder successfully populates to my page as intended, and I am able to access all the data with site.data.skills.KEY.
json generated from assets folder at build time
Is there any way that I could specify that the generated skills.json in my /assets/js/ folder be the source for my data call?
Alternatively, is there a way to generate the final data and automatically move it to the _data folder ahead of building the site? I am open to any suggestions for how to automate this. As a warning, I am pretty new to web development in general, so any references or links would be a tremendous help. Thanks!
Following up on this, I believe that the issue lies in how the site is built. The skills.json file gets generated on the first build, and then when it is added to the _data folder, the site gets built AGAIN to update everything that hits that data. With this iterative process, I don't know if it would be possible to both generate the new file and use it as a source to update everything dependent on the data in the same pass.
As far as automating goes, my thinking is that a Ruby plugin to compare the newly generated files against the _data folder and overwrite if the source is different/newer would be the way to go, but I'm still open to any suggestions!
I have a process that I want to create in SSIS. What I have so far is below.
So the scenario is that a number of different file types are downloaded to a specific location - which has been created as a variable "RootFolder"
Within that RootFolder, is a folder called "Archive"
The first part of the process is to create a folder within the variable of ArchiveFolder, which is basically todays date.
Then in a For Loop Container, it copies all the files in the RootFolder to the Archive Folder. So we have a history of the files received.
The next step that I want to carry out in SSIS is to add a header line at the top of each of those text files. So all the files that still exist in the Root Folder get a header added to the top of the file. Is there something direct in SSIS to do this, or would I need a .bat file to do it and have an Execute Process Task, to call that bat file. Either way I have no idea how to achieve this bit. Your help will be appreciated.
I have a main project and an external library. I have added a directory of assets to the external library in src/assets/[50 files here].
When I do that, I go into the external library properties and select the folder and this includes all the files in that directory. Example shown (1 file selected):
In my main application I want to access that folder and copy the files into another directory. How do I access those files?
Note:
I may update these files periodically, copying the files and pasting them into that directory. There may be a few more or less files each time. So I'm against embedding them.
Go to your main project > Properties and select Flex Build Path. Under Source path, choose Add Folder... and enter the following
${DOCUMENTS}\GigaLibrary\src\assets
(assuming your library project is called GigaLibrary, that is)
When I create a new .sikuli file, for example Dummy.sikuli.
It will create a Dummy.py and a Dummy.html file in this .sikuli directory.
If I add new code to Dummy.py, it automaticly updates the Dummy.html as well.
But what exactly is the purpose of that html file?
This html file is only created when you save a script using Sikuli IDE. Originally the intention was so that users can share their scripts on the web (have a look here). Not sure if many users do that however.
I have a directory containing multiple html files. Need to create chm file using all the html files of the directory.
I am trying to create chm file using chmprocessor.
(downloaded from- http://sourceforge.net/projects/chmprocessor/files/)
I have referred http://chmprocessor.sourceforge.net/ and tried following:
I selected html file using "Add file" under Source Files tab. And selected the directory using "Add directory" under additional files tab. But it didn't worked.
Could any one please suggest the steps to create chm file using the directory containing html files?
I have also tried using HTML Help Workshop, but this tool does not provide the capability to directly create chm file by selecting the directory containing html files.
This is really annoying - after installing chmProcessor I have given the tool a longer try and the chmProcessor for (good structered) Word files (*.doc) is really working good.
But testing for HTML with the one selected HTML at 'Source files' makes me crazy as a former Microsoft Help MVP. Only linked files are included in the CHM I added with "Add Directory".
I put a 'Change Request' for more documentation about 'Source files' to SourceForge where you may download my test sample and some snaps of things I tried:
http://sourceforge.net/p/chmprocessor/bugs/29/
HTMLHelp Workshop has a learn curve and creating Table of Contents (TOC) needs a fairly long time.
So, one more thought: You may have your HTML files in a web structure with sub-directories. A tool I have experience with is FAR HTML. Using the Help Wizard makes a CHM in some minutes. These is shown in a Video I uploaded for you. Give it a try - it's free with full working functions for some weeks.
