Enabling and Disabling Dragging Markers by Checkbox - google-maps

Can you please take a look at this Demo and let me know how I can make the markers Dragable when the check box is unchecked. Please be informed that all markers has their own associated checkbox it means that user can lock each marker which they want( Not all together). Initially all Markers are unchecked when they loaded to page . And finally I need to change the icon when the marker checked as lock.

As I said in my comment, you need to add checkbox.checked = !marker.getDraggable(); in your marker click event listener. Not in the checkbox event listener.

You could something like:
google.maps.event.addListener(marker, 'mouseover', function(e){
marker.setDraggable(document.getElementById('checkbox').checked);
});
This will set the draggable property to false or true before you start dragging (if you put it on the dragstart event, you will have a slight delay.)
Replace the id checkbox with the one you need.

I would suggest you generalize it, add a member to your array to determine whether to open the marker or not.

How to Zoom In further in google map to show markers clearly

I have got four markers which will be shown when i zoom in till the last .
The issue i am facing is that the markers one and four are overlapping with each other , and i cannot zoom zoom in further to click on them ?
Is there any solution for this without using Marker cluster??

If that is not enough, you could change the zIndex of the markers that overlap when you click on one of them (like this question: allow user to move marker position back (z-index?) in google maps custom map).

Creating Geotagged Marker Alongside a Multiple Markers in Google Maps

I've been stuck on this issue for a while now and could really use some help. In a Google Map, I have a list of markers which are being treated as a markerArray, with their own custom icons. But along with displaying those markers, I would like for it to create a marker which is placed at the users geotagged location. I have tried merging the suggestions I've come across here on stack overflow, and have successfully gotten the users browser to center the map based off of geolocation, but whenever I try to add a marker outside of the standard var=locations, all of the markers disappear. I am providing my working code, which simply lacks the feature to add the "current location" marker. If anyone has any input, I'd be thrilled.

I am looking at two different geocode examples I found and I am looking to get the best of both features. I have not had much experience with geocoding and I find the google docs hard to follow

Disable point-of-interest information window using Google Maps API v3

I have a custom map with an information bubble and custom markers. When I zoom into points of interest such as parks and universities appear and when I click an information window opens. How do I disable the info window?

You can set clickableIcons to false in MapOptions. This will keep the POI icons but disable the infowindows just as you want.

However, if you want it clickable, but no infowindow, call stop() on the event to prevent the infowindow from showing, but still get the location info:

Other option: completely remove the POI-icons, and not only the infoWindow:

You can do this by creating a styled map without labels for the points of interest.
