So i made this website using joomla 2.5 and my client asked me to add an audio player to the website, so i added an audio player plugin using power.io and it worked fine, except for when i click on any link to navigate the website to another page the music stops and it resets the changes i made on the audio player (progress of the track, which track is playing, the shuffle button..), so i need to press the play button again each time i'm on a new page.
Tell me if there's a better way to implement this.
I am using JWPlayer for a long time but have a problem with playlist not auto loading next tracks in iPhones. I have JWPlayer version 6 loaded with an rss playlist of MP3 files. If the user has the browser open the next track loads and starts playing. If the phone is locked it does not start playing the next track automatically for some reason.

I would appreciate if someone can help.
Update
I have asked JWPlayer support for help but it seems like they are not able to replicate the issue for some reason. I on the other hand have this issue on iPhone 4s/5/6s/7 and iPad, other iPhones I have not tried.
JWPlayer support thread: https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/en/portal/questions/16729726-mp3-playlist-auto-play-next-tracks-in-iphone?new=16729726
If you can help be reproducing the issue, would be appreciated.
I investigated this issue thoroughly and found that this because of iPhone/iPad limitation that apple has put in. The limitation stops audio/video to autoplay without any interaction. The initial trigger has to come from the user.
So due to this, I have decided to allow users to download an m3u playlist to play on an audio player on the device such as Remote Media Manager, it allows an M3U from any URL to stream music from the web.
Thanks for your help.
Not sure know how to create this, I did test some html5 examples.
I was able to sit an audio player in a frame and add an external button that when
clicked triggered the player to start and audio sample, but I don't know how to do this with multiple audio samples and play button for each sample.
I have a joomla portal with addfullajax installed
It's loading articles with ajax,
Above the articles is a frame called drawer (im using gantry framework)
I placed the code for a html5 audio player up in the drawer position in joomla.
Then i put some code for the button into the 1st article that starts the audio player up in the drawer position.
What i'm trying to do is have several articles, each article should have an audio play button,
When you browse to a different article you click play and the player up in the drawer position will play that audio file or sample.
When you browse to a different article, it will have another play button,
When clicked it will start a different audio sample in the same player.
Can someone please show me how to create a nice player.
Thanks
I am playing continues background music in my app in Windows Phone. From the microsoft certification point of view the parallel sound must not be opened if there is already music being played.
What should I do?
Should I:
Detect any background music like song and prompt to user to stop my app background
OR
Detect any background music and prompt to user to stop already played music in the background like any song?
OR
Can I can play both backgrounds at the same time with the user's permission?
It sounds like options 1 and 2 are just a single choice you can present to the user: "My audio or your existing audio".
However the very fact you start playing audio will very likely stop any background audio. So you must go with option 2.
Who would honestly pick the 3rd option?
I need to create a webpage for a family website that has a video section in it. There are about 50 videos that the server will be hosting. I'm looking for an photo album like list where people can scroll through and click on a video and start watching it. Are there any good webpage templates that someone can point me to?
