Creating MySQL database and user to be hosted on one.com - mysql

I'm attempting to create a MySQL database and administrator user to this database and I intend on hosting the database on one.com. I noticed that in other webhosts e.g. bluehost, the option of creating a MySQL database and a user is available but this is not available on one.com.
My question is how does someone using code create a MySQL database and user which can be hosted on a webhost in my case one.com?
Any ideas are appreciated.
Thanks.

Most hosting providers use CPanel or ZPanel for providing services to their clients. Both the panels come with services that allow creation of a database and assigning an user to the database.
It is possible to query MySQL to do the same, but hosting providers always restricts the clients from direct querying of their database servers.

how to create MYSQL User for tableau connectivity only

I want to allow MYSQL connectivity to business users on tableau without creating a DB user i.e. without allowing direct access to the database through the MYSQL workbench.
right now I have a MySQL user with grant access on only one database to connect through tableau. But business users can use this user to explore data through workbench and run queries, which is not ideal.
Is there a way to give MYSQL database access ONLY on tableau and not any database tools like workbench?
There is not such an option for it. But you can create/define user roles with restrictions on DB/table levels in MySQL or you can create two database(on same machine or another machine), one is Main(Primary) and other one for Tableau only, so if any Tableau users access the new(separate) database from any other application, they will have limited data(only which is using for Tableau dashboards).
So I found a solution for this and here it is, in case someone else has this issue.
I just published a live connection to my database table on tableau server, and embedded user credentials in tableu. This way anytime a user wants to use the data source they just need to select from published data sources. But we wont have to share user credentials with them, that resolves the issue and they wont be able to log in using any credentials from any database client.

MySQL database hosted online

So I have created a mysql database hosted at db4free.net, and am able to access it easily from the command line or from java. My concern however, is I can only access it using my own username, password credentials. I tried to create user, but it appears I cannot as I get Access Denied. I'm assuming I don't have privileges to create users from this hosted database.
Now I want to include access to this online database in my application, but I don't know how without having major security issues. The only apparent way for another user to connect would be to include my own username, password credentials for the database but that is very unsafe.
Any ideas on how I can provide database access to users safely ?
From the front door page of the service you're using:
What db4free.net is not
db4free.net is a testing service which means it is not suitable for
production. There can be outages, data loss and security features do
not meet the standards which you expect from a professional data
hosting provider. If you need a MySQL database for production use,
please do not use db4free.net!
This seems pretty clear to me. Don't do what you're hoping to do!
Plus, it's not a good idea security-wise to open up a MySQL server to the public internet without using secured connections. Even then it's questionable. Somebody who reverse-engineers your app can pwn your database.

phpMyAdmin Virtual MySQL Instance

Currently I have phpMyAdmin and MySQL installed on my server. I now want to provide access to phpMyAdmin to a friend of mine so he can setup his own databases and users, however I don't want him to be able to see or modify my databases.
Is this possible to do with a simple privilege account or do I require some kind of MySQL virtualization? I know cPanel installations provide this feature for web hosts, but I don't need or can afford cPanel at the moment.
You should look into MySQL Security Here specifically section 13.7.1.3 Grant statement. You could secure your DB from your friend logging in which will prevent him from seeing anything in that DB on PHPMyAdmin. Or you could create a DB for him to use and allow him access to that DB only.
You never mentioned if he will be on Localhost or will you need to open up MySQL for remote logins from other than Localhost which is the default behavior..

only web application should access and write data in Mysql Database

I have a java web application with a Mysql relational database. I would like that only the web application could access, write and delete data in the database and prevent direct changes to database even by the administrator of the database.
Is it possible?
It's impossible to stop Database administrator to access a database in MySQL. As I know, only Oracle Database Vault can do that.

need to connect my same apps with one database

i have 3 servers for three applications on aws ec2 using MySql database,
now each of the application is having amember that is client subscription app,
it connects with sql databse that is created in each instance
so in this way every amamber app is having diffrent database in each server,
now we are working with a device ROKU we need to pass the XML attributes from amember to it
to varify the user so he can watch online streaming tv.
the objective
now i need to make one database that will be connected with each server using amember
so each server access one database .
Options
my options are aws RDS ,dynamoDb
Now can anyone put me in the right direction, for that.
in simple Words
need to connect my multiple apps (same app) with one database
HELLLLP
If you need to connect to a mysql database, DynamoDB is not the answer. It isn't a mysql database.
RDS is a mysql database. It connects like any other mysql database. You haven't mentioned what language[s] you are using, however. Googling "connect to mysql with [language]" should help.
I think it would be best to stick with relational databases such as MySQL.
Amazon RDS is a managed MySQL solution, but you don't have to use it for your needs.
You can use one of your EC2 instances or a new EC2 instance as the central DB and connect all the other servers to it for quires. There are pros and cons for choosing RDS over your own SQL server. If you have any questions there, feel free to edit your question and add them.
EDIT according to comment
In order to connect your application with the local MySQL. Your are probably using a connection string that points to either "localhost" or "127.0.0.1"... That is the IP of your local machine. You will have to change it to the remote IP of the machine where the DB is stored remotely.
