I am using Sublime Text 2 and the SFTP package.
Unfortunately, at work, they use a firewall that blocks a specific port thats required to upload files. Were working on getting that port opened, but for now, i'd like to go through our companies proxy that will allow me to continue using sublime for the time being.
I've gone to Preferences > Package Settings > Package Control > Settings – Default and added my proxy information, but it doesnt seem to work.
Is there anything I need to do to get it working with SFTP?
Thanks
First, add your proxy setting like:
"http_proxy": "proxy.iiit.ac.in:8080",
"https_proxy": "proxy.iiit.ac.in:8080"
in Preferences > Package Settings > Package Control > Settings – User
And restart it!
If it did not work, try following steps:
open your Internet Explorer
tools →internet options→ advanced tag→ Security → Cancel "Check for Server Certificate revocation"
this checkbox
Restart your Sublime Text and it work!
Hope it can help you.

I am using behat+mink. I wrote some features and am now running tests.
How can I enable xdebug to to stop on breakpoints in phpstorm when running behat tests ?
I have not tried this with Mink yet, but this is configuration that allows me to step through debugging of behat (with behat running on a remote server):
Configure your server with x-debug
Of note, since this is commandline, you need to edit the cli config under /etc/php5/cli/conf.d/20-xdebug.ini.
Set remote_host to the ip of the computer you're using PHPSTORM from
Set autostart = 1
Disable connect_back, you will initiate debugging from the server so there is nothign to connect back to
You can also do this without editing your ini by exporting values as env variables, just remember to do this each time you start a new shell (or add to your .bash_profile file):
export XDEBUG_CONFIG="remote_host=<YOUR IP>"
Configure PHPStorm's Debugger
It seems by default, PHPStorm doesn't understand remote-cli scripts, so we need to add a configuration that tells it to expect a CLI script to trigger xdebug
Open the Run Menu and select "Edit Configurations"
Click the Green "+" to to add a new configuration and select "PHP Remote Debug"
Name the Configuration (E.G. MyServer-Behat)
Under the Servers: menu, select your remote server.
If you haven't configured your remote server yet, then do this by clicking the "..." button on the right
Click the Green "+" to add a server configuration. Give it a name (E.G. MyServer) and fill in it's address under Host
Configure it's Path Mappings. This is important if the path to your source files is different on your PHPStorm computer from your server. You can see in my example that i'm relating my local checkout (~/Work/Symfony/) to my server install (/var/www/). I specifically added mappings for src, bin, web, app, and vendor by clicking in the space to the right under "Absolute path on the server" and typing in the path. I had issues just mapping the root's, so I had to add these paths to get my debugger to work.
Debug!
Once that is setup, select your configuration from the drop down in the debugging tool bar and click the bug icon (you can also use the Run menu) to start the debugger listening. This is similar to the default Telephone Button (circled in yellow), but it tells PHPStorm to use your new configuration.
Now simply run behat like you normally would from your server and your debugger should connect and stop on any breakpoints you've placed.
If you're having doubts about if it's working or not, try toggling the "Break on First Line" in the Run menu, as this should make the debugger break immediately when you run behat (in the bin/behat file)
Scenario :
I wanted logging functionality in burp, so just enabled it by going to :
options tab --> Misc tab --> Logging
By clicking the checkbox, the logging functionality is working fine.
My Question :
The next time I open burp, I want the logging settings to be enabled by default.
How should I set the options in configuration file so that I can pass it while starting burp from terminal.
P.S
I am using Ubuntu-14.04 (32-bit) with Burp Pro v 1.6.
There is no burp.conf file created in ubuntu.
Any help is highly appreciated.
By default burp should remember your settings. You can check burp menu > remember settings
Also why don't you use save / restore state. It is very useful for changing settings easily (proxy, auth methods, logging, intercept options etc ..)
I am using Sublime Text 2 for Mac. I have installed the Package Control for Sublime Text 2, following the instructions from https://sublime.wbond.net/installation#st2 without any trouble. However, when I open up Ctrl+Shif+P to search for available packages, it does not show any.
See the image screenshot here
Do you have any solutions for it? I try restart Sublime but it doesn't solve the problem.
Take a look in your user Preferences.sublime-settings and remove the Package Control from the "ignored_packages" list if it is there.
If you use a Linux based system, you may have to check permissions of /home/user/.config/sublime-text-3. Check if the directory is owned by your user. If not, change the owner user for that directory.
Click the Preferences > Browse Packages and check whether Package control file is there or not.
You can manually put package control file there by downloading it from here and get rid of issues.
I had the same problem. I had to restart my computer to properly reset Sublime Text 2. It seems from your comment that you also got the Package Control list to show up after restarting your computer.
Your screenshot image is currently broken, but make sure you have the zipfile "Package Control.sublime-package" in the Installed Packages directory.
Open the console and run this command:
curl http://sublime.wbond.net/Package%20Control.sublime-package -o ~/Library/Application\ Support/Sublime\ Text\ 2/Installed\ Packages/Package\ Control.sublime-package
Then restart sublime.
See this issue: https://github.com/wbond/sublime_package_control/issues/652
I use MacOSX 10.8.5 and PHPStorm 7. I try to set Show line nubers globaly, for all projects. I checked Show line number in Preferences > [IDE settings] Editor > Apperance and all is ok until I turn off application. After restart are old settings.
In PHPStorm 6.x everything was ok.
What doing wrong?
Please disable EditorConfig plugin if you have it installed and enabled. It does not seem to be fully compatible with v7: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-115224
On Windows Users follow this steps:
Click on File->Settings->
In the Settings dialog box Expand Editor under IDE Settings.
Click Apperance - > select Show line numbers.
Click Apply->Ok.
I have just setup hudson and have begun playing around with it.
I have downloaded the email-ext.hpi into the the folder $HUDSON_HOME\plugins
I have restarted hudson post-step1 ( i am following this manual method as i am unable to use (for proxy setting reasons) the automatic way of installing plugins via the "Manage hudson" page.
I dont see any errors when hudson starts. In fact i see the line
INFO: Started all plugins
BUT:
When i start a project configuration page, I do not see the promised option "Editable Email Notification".
FYI:
1. I am able to setup and run few basic test builds and they run fine.
2. I am also able to configure and receive the default hudson emails for failures and subsequent successes.(This confirms the SMTP settings)
3. I was also aboe to setup the subversion tag hpi in the same way as detailed above and that works fine as well!
What am i missing? Thanks in advance for any help!
EXTRA INFO:
Hudson version - 1.379 running on Windows XP
OK - i figured out a workaround (although i still need to dig into why this is a problem). Recording here for anyone else tha tmay face this issue.
The plugin when copied into the $HUDSON_HOME\plugin was somehow not really being activeated/recognized. But when i copied it over also to C:\Documents and Settings\mylogin.hudson\plugins and restarted hudson service, voila! it worked.
If anyone knows why this might have occured, kindly record it here for reference. Thanks.
To install a plugin you should use the easy route. In Hudson, go to 'Manage Hudson' -> 'Manager Plugins' -> 'Advanced' (its a tab) and use the 'upload plugin' option.
Than follow the instructions. Usually you have to restart Hudson to actually get the plugin.
Way saver than messing around with the file system. In general the approach you had should have been correct, but there seems to be an issue with your $HUDSON_HOME. Have a look at the "Manage Hudson" -> "Configure System" page. What is the Hudson Home directory displayed on the top of the page? I don't know what Hudson does if it can't access the Home Directory? My assumption is here that Hudson runs as a service with a user account rather than the local system account and that you used a different account to copy the hpi file.
Install Maven Legacy and Maven3 plugins .
