Please help how to run angularjs project in ie-8 and onward?
we have venueSvc angular service that are working fine in other browsers(chrome,firefox,opera etc) but not working in ie-8 and onward.
it is giving the following error.
Unknown provider: venueSvcProvider <- venueSvc
Looks like your service is not being included properly. Ie8 has some issues with directives being used as elements without being specified, however it should work in general. That error looks as though the program cannot find the provider, so make sure it exists in your source.

For some reason, content is not being displayed on the website if viewed from the microsoft edge browser. The background is loaded, which is loaded through HTML, but the parts loaded with Vue do not get displayed and i dont understand why.
I have no idea where to start to debug this.
<div class="nk-main">
<router-view :key="$route.fullPath"></router-view>
</div>
In the console, i get these errors on Microsoft Edge:

$store is the VueX variable. And the this error I dont understand.
Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this or how I can further debug the issue?
I think #birdspider answered your question. In your Vue.js templates you referencing to Vuex store like this this.$store.state.blabla instead of $store.state.blabla. This happen because this keyword in template is undefined. When you access your variables in template you have to dont use like {{this.variable}}, just {{variable}}, declared in data() setction.
I'm just starting with web development, and I'm trying to use some polymer elements:
http://embed.plnkr.co/o4OKkE/
I'm kind of half managing the import. The elements display (in some manner). The paper element works well, apart from the margins. The button is good, the paper-input completely fails, same with tabs. The text/formatting is all default. Does polymer dictate the font etc, or is it managed using CSS separately?
I think I'm not attaching the theme correctly. Can anyone point out the errors?
Edit: Thanks to Neil John Ramal, I've got the basics working without any errors:
http://run.plnkr.co/AD3ETQOsMwajnSBt/
I just can't seem to get the elements to import using polygit, just rawgit.
This here:
works fine. However this produces an error:
Redirect at origin 'http://polygit.org' has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://run.plnkr.co' is therefore not allowed access.
Presumably because Plunker is not allowing redirects and that's how polygit works. How it functions with polymer.html I'm not sure...
You are mixing up your imports. You have to make sure you are importing your components from a single source so no variable/name clashing would occur. On your example, you are importing both from your own repository and polygit's.
Evidence is on the error logs:
VM199 polymer-micro.html:363 Uncaught NotSupportedError: Failed to execute 'registerElement' on 'Document': Registration failed for type 'dom-module'. A type with that name is already registered.
This just means that you have imported polymer.html more than once and from different sources. HTML imports only dedupe if they came from the same source.
Also at your index.html:
<script data-require="polymer#*" data-semver="1.0.0" src="http://polygit.org/components/polymer/polymer.html"></script>
Should be:
<link rel="import" src="//polygit.org/components/polymer/polymer.html">
As a newbie in Angular, i am working a tutorial : WEB DEVELOPMENT WITH_ANGULARJS AND BOOTSTRAP via "Packt".
Below is the link in plunker to check the code implementation.
At the moment i am working on the Routing Events, specificly a login form where i added 2 links to change the view from the Login form to Report.
The error i receive is when i click on these links it returns :
{ "statusCode": 404,"error": "Not Found"}
Furthermore the data binding for the "report" template won't work as well.
The version of Angular that is been used in the tutorial is AngularJs v1.3.0, however i am using v1.4.6 and no problem have been occurred so far!
While most of the similar issue posts refer to a version compatibility issue , in my case any version of Angular i used it produces the same error.
Have i done anything wrong in the script.js configuration?
The href's you are using don't include the hash and proper angular path.

I'm trying to change the url in my app from "http://www.test.com/foo" to "http://www.test.com/bar+someVariable" (somevariable is a string that I recieve from an http request inside bar's controller) using history.pushState() . In my routes I enabled html5mode and everything works fine. I'm also using location.path() to switch between views and controllers as instructed in the docs. Now once the app switches view and controller I added history.pushState(null,null,"/bar"+somevariable) to "/bar"'s controller. Everything works and the url is updated but in the console I receive the "10 $digest() iterations reached. Aborting!" error. I suspect that activating the history.pushState function is somehow interfering with angular's $location or $route service.
What is the correct way to use history.pushState() within angular without receiving the $digest error?
By the way I'm using angular 1.0.3
Thanks ahead,
Gidon
Change the path with
$location.path('/newValue')
See: http://docs.angularjs.org/guide/dev_guide.services.$location
It is hard to know for sure without seeing the relevant source, but this is a common issue in older versions of IE (8 and 9 mostly I think). The solution that worked for me a few weeks ago when I encountered this (and may work for you if you're using IE) was changing my anchor tags in my navigation.
I had:
what fixed it:
I have a difficult problem: I always get a Nullpointer exception on my webpace, when I
rapidly click on the same link. Or when I reload the page rapidly.
This is the error I get:

Question: Can someone explain in detail what this acquireSyncToken does? Maybe then I can find the bug...
In my XPages I use
sessionScope.get(key) // same with applicationScope
sessionScope.put(key, value) // same with applicationScope
a LOT ;)
I tried very much, e.g. to wrap my lookups within
synchronize(applicationScope){
// lookups and so on...
}
and stuff like that, but that only made it worse, so I removed the synchronize-stuff...
Environment:
Domino Server 8.5.3 FP1
XPages
testing on modern Browsers like FF, Chrome
MacOS / Win7
Architecture:
I have one BIG xPage, where I basically add some CustomControls and due to the current URL embed another XPage.
Inside the CustomControls and XPages I have more Custom Controls and I added some Views as Datasources and did the wildest things with "repeat controls" and SSJS inside Computed Fields.
The heavy-weight DB-Lookups are cached in the applicationScope.
For more Info, please ask!
Thanks in advance!
This is a known issue. IBM advises to downgrade from FP1 or FP2 to 8.5.3 or UP1.
