I am developing a grails application which will use external config file with data needed for grails data source connection. I would like to show in GUI (at first access as a warning message or whatever similar) that credentials written in config file are invalid. Currently i've got no idea how to implement it cause the error is thrown before accessing the controller and the application fails to start.
I would appreciate any help :)

came back to an application based off of this reference app after a little time away from it, but I'm now unable to run the application locally.
With both my version, and the base reference app, trying to connect to localhost:9000 throws me a screen saying "This site can’t provide a secure connection" and the error "crbug/1173575, non-JS module files deprecated."
According to this Stack Overflow post the crbug/1173575 error could be related to the port the application is trying to run on.
Regarding the Hyperion Reference App, we're currently in the process of simplifying it to a "leaner" app using just vanilla HTML/JS/CSS: https://github.com/autodesk-platform-services/aps-iot-extensions-demo. I'd suggest that you give this one a try.
I am able to get into SharePoint site using browser but not able to connect it using SSIS ODATA Connector. I have admin rights in that site. We have multiple imports successfully running using same SharePoint Server right now. Using SSDT2012. I tried another site successfully to confirm I don't have issue with SSDT. Any idea what I am missing.

What is the Service Document Location URL, you are giving in your case? Here is mine which works well.
Are you using basic authentication or Windows authentication?
If the former, double and triple-check that your userid and password are correct, and that the credentials have the proper access.
If the latter, check to see what user the package is running as. Also, I've found that when using Windows Authentication, you have to go back and double check what the Basic Authentication settings are, and zero them out before going back to Windows Authentication. It sounds crazy, but sometimes it works.
I'm currently creating a web application through linux OS (debian), using php7, codeIgniter 3, Nginx and Mysql.
Few months ago, all my PHP errors used to be reported in the default nginx log error (located at : /var/log/nginx/)
But recently, I have configured CodeIgniter in purpose to report those errors inside the folder of my application.
It seemed to work, because I noticed that my current errors were repported in this new log file.
However, "some" errors don't seem to be reported. For example, I have a form in my web application, running aswell with Javascript (ajax use). Once I send the form, I can notice in my browser's console an Error 500 (internal server error). However, this error is not reported in my error log file ! (and I already checked in the former log file belonging to Nginx, there's nothing too)
What am I supposed to do ?
Thanks you.
I have a problem with configuring standalone custom registry in WebSphere Application Server (Cluster environment). I have followed all steps from IBM manual:
I have implemented UserRegistry interface in DataBaseRegistry class
I have copied .jar to the lib/ext folder of WebSphere
I have assigned all necessary properties on Global Security page
and while trying to assign Standalone Custom Registry as current I got a following error:
Validation failed: Error occurred in RequiredModelMBean while trying to invoke operation getUsers
The funny part is that I followed all of those steps in a standalone version of WebSphere (not clustered) and it is working properly (so the problem is not in the code). Another thing is that there is nothing in the log files. I can see that getUsers is called and then no Exception or anything.
UPDATE: I resolved my problem. I was propably not 100% focused.
It tourned out that I forgot to copy additional jar with JDBC drivers to lib/ext that allow to connect to MSSQL.

I have a WP8 App where I want to store the crash logs if and when generated.
Is there any way of fetching the crash dump file from Windows Phone 8 programmatically?
As far as I know, you can't retrieve the crash dumps that are automatically sent to the DevCenter. However, what you can do is subscribing to the global unhandled exception event handler, store the exception contents in the isolated storage, then do whatever you need with it (like sending it to a remote server). That's what many applications do, and it's even automated by some libraries (such as Telerik).
You can achieve that by using a logging system as MetroLog. You'll be able to collect these crash logs if you configure GlobalCrashHandler that will ensure that a FATAL log entry is written if an unhandled exception occurs.
You can install it using NuGet
Install-Package MetroLog
Here's an quick example:
using MetroLog;
using MetroLog.Targets;
LogManagerFactory.DefaultConfiguration.AddTarget(LogLevel.Trace, LogLevel.Fatal, new FileStreamingTarget());
GlobalCrashHandler.Configure();
ILogger log = LogManagerFactory.DefaultLogManager.GetLogger<MainPage>();
log.Trace("This is a trace message.");
You can find a tutorial explaining how to add it on your project at http://talkitbr.com/2015/06/11/adicionando-logs-em-universal-apps. Also there is an explanation regarding retrieving these logs.
