I used a video as background for my site, the problem is that it's refreshes itself everytime a other page is clicked.
On which way do i prevend this?
This is the kind of video background plugin I use: http://syddev.com/jquery.videoBG/
Till now I believe it's the best option. Try giving it a chance, it will solve your problem, since the plugin prevents that from happening.
Any other doubt feel free to ask in comments!

I am not really a programmer, merely an HTML coder who has been cannibalising scripts for many years without really being able to quite understand what I'm doing. I have finally hit an impasse.
I am using Fancybox 3 to open a responsive iFrame into which I am loading an HTML5 video which is set to autoplay. All works great except that the iFrame is a) initially cropped at the bottom (a fault which is instantly fixed by slightly resizing the browser window) and b) does not adjust to the size of the content when the window is reduced in size. I get white space opening up under the video.
The Fancybox 3 documentation suggests using this piece of script in order to achieve what I'm after but no explanation of how exactly to implement it. I guess the author assumes I know more than I do about these things, which seems fair enough.
This is the snippet of script:
parent.jQuery.fancybox.getInstance().update();
I'm guessing this would solve all my problems. Can anyone show me how to implement it?
The page in question is here: test page.
The Fancybox 3 documentation is here.
If I have asked this question badly please let me know as I am a newbie here.
Thanks for looking.
The Iframed page demo on homepage does exactly what are you looking for. See source code of http://fancyapps.com/fancybox/3/iframe.html for clues.
For example, this link would close fancyBox:

Im pretty new to html5, im learning at school.
I have a credits button (image) and what i want is when i click on the credits picture. a video should overlay everything thats on the Website.
I thought about redirect to another page with that Video on it. But i want it to happen flawless. Maybe with something like Video.
Someone has an idea?
I think this is going to be pretty hard to make in HTML only.
What you are trying to make is called 'Lightbox', if you have a little bit of Javascript knowledge you can try using this jQuery plugin. it's pretty simple to use and it has support for Video.
Can i move video element without restarting the video. I've tried sevaral ways without any success. Any ideas. Maybe some hacks.
Its not possible. I've tried a little bit with javascript as well. No solution.

Maybe something like this will help you:
HTML5 Dynamic Video Loading
You just have to adjust this loading with a buffering....maybe it'll work
But maybe you could tell us what exactly you want to do this sounds interesting :)
I want the visitor to see the loading GIF as soon as he enters the website, until the the website has completely loaded and ready to go.
HTML:
<img id = "firstLoadedImage" border="0" alt="title" src="Pictures/loading.gif" />
There is no CSS associated with this.
And I loaded every other image through my javascript document.ready call. This is the only occurance of declaring an image in HTML or CSS, beacuse I know that all the images are loaded together if I do that, but I only want this gif to load first.
But the problem still exists where in CHROME only, that there is a very noticeable delay before my gif image actually loads and starts to animate. I've extensively researched this and found the best matching solution, yet I tried their ways to find that it's somewhat a slightly different case from mine. - Loading GIF (Preloader) gets stuck only on Chrome -
The difference being that I'm using the GIF before the entire web page finished loading. I've tried dataURI with base64 already. It didn't work for me, as the same reasons from #amiregelz OP stated in his comments. So the only other solution is deleting the delcaration:
background-attachment: fixed;
But the only problem is that I never even used that code anywhere. So I guess the problem is now, what should I try next.
Any help from Guru's would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
This issue should be fixed now in the newer versions of chrome.
i got this requirement, i need to show my Flash Menu into the index page and i want to change to other pages without refreshing my flash movie. its possible do that ? i tried to use frameset html tag. but want to have a unique scroll bar.
Can you please give me some tip in order to solve this.
Thanks in advance,
You could load the content via AJAX... But that is a workaround I won't consider, it's a poor hack in my eyes.
It'd be better to try to save the flash menu's state over different requests.
