I'm using ITreeModel of Tapestry4.2,whenever i click on ITreeModel tree structure it refreshes/reloads a page which in turn results in resetting all other fields in html page to blank.I want to avoid this reloading of page so any one help me in this.

This is the kind of use case that prompted the creation of Tapestry 5. In your situation, you will probably want to locate an existing Ajax tree widget and find a way to provide it with data. Without significant more details and time, that's about as far as anyone can help you.

I'm wanting to create a HTML page to be accessed via the kindle browser. I'm wanting to create a puzzle using a form and, when the user solves the puzzle, it will just create a new puzzle. I'm aiming to use cookies to hold the users progress. It can cope with HTML and CSS 3. Can I get a normal web page to redraw itself after the user submits without going back to the server?
Before I get started on the project I just wanted to see whether it was possible doing it this way. Ideally I'd like to put the HTML, CSS and any data into a mobi format but I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask that.

So... I work on a Retail store and we use a kiosk-like app on the laptops with the hardware and price information.
Recently i realized (because it runs 24/7) the lcds are getting burned by the kiosk app and its a major problem to the store.
Since i cannot make changes on the app itself i realized the best option was to create some kind of solution to this problem.
So i thought on creating an offline / local website in HTML that mimics the layout on the kiosk app and use some kind of anti-lcdburn jquery running along. (already have the code for the anti burn jquery).
My main problem is the kiosk app was really user-friendly on the configuration. Anyone on my store could easily change the data showing.
But in the other hand if i want to implement a static html website, anyone without html skills can't easily change the values.
My first thought was to create some kind of config file and find a way to import it. My main issue it i need to make this so that anyone with low-it skills can enter a page , change values and those values would show up on the kiosk page.
Something like a simple CMS but for a local file.
Any ideas?

Can you display the website inside an iframe?
If so, just make a file that loads the website in an iframe, with the anti screen-burn jQuery over the top.
Anything more than that would be overkill and rebuilding something that appears to already exist - have you considered asking the creator of the app to include an anti screen-burn option?
I am a newbie to web development so sorry for my stupidity. I am actually creating a local website and I wanted to make a user profile page on that website. What I want to accomplish is that the profile page should be not be editable in the normal use case but when the user presses the Edit button (like in facebook), the fields become editable and a save button appears (basically a form but without reloading the page or any server side work). The user then updates the fields and saves. The save request will be sent to the server to update the database (can that somehow be done without reloading the page too ? i see facebook page does not reload when you edit and save).
So that is it. Waiting for a reply.
P.S. I think some javascript code will come to my rescue.
This is a very general question, so I can't do anything but give a general answer. I would highly recommend you learn jQuery.
jQuery makes it easy to manipulate the HTML and CSS from Javascript - which you'll need to do in order to show/hide the content and the forms for editing the content (or otherwise manipulate the code on the page in order to achieve what you want - there are various ways to do this, adriano's comment on your question lays out a good solution).
The specific part about sending such requests in the background is called AJAX, and jQuery has support for that too.
I have an html form, which can be used to upload files. These files are deleted when the user navigates away into another section. Unfortunately, I'm not seeing what can be done if the user decides to reload the page or close the browser window.
I was trying to use both jQuery's $('window').on('beforeunload') but all I can achieve is a confirmation message.
Does anybody have a better idea?

This will be pretty hard as it will be browser specific, IE doesnt support many of the events. for the reload you could add a parameter to the form action like ?refresh=true then check for that. if they close the window you dont have many options. Sorry I can be more help
I happen to have inherited a drupal project where a common html validation error seems to occur on nearly every page. The validation error is so minor and easy, I actually only have to open any page up in the editor and the tinymce wysiwig editor will fix the problem automatically and I only need to save the page. Considering I will be needing to do this 30k+ times to apply it to the entire site, is there any way to have it either applied automatically to all pages or automated? Any and all suggestions welcome to help me speed up the process.

Since I'm not the most adept at finding a programming solution, I did find an addon for firefox letting me record et loop a series of actions called iMacros. Started it up in 5 different instances of FF and let it running all night and it's half done already. Certainly not the most efficient way of doing things, but may be a solution for those who, like me, aren't as advanced in programming.
Assuming you can loop through the pages somehow i would suggest to build a page where you include the code source into the editor root html element (textarea or whatever). Then after onInit (see the tinymce configuration options for this (setup parameter and onInit) ) you trigger the submit or save button which delivers the page to the server where it gets saved.
The pages textarea might then get filled with the code of the next page and so on...
The important part here is that your serverbackend is able to loop through the different pages and knows which page comes next when receiving the modified/corrected page code.
