Google Maps API ban? [duplicate] - google-maps

My website (http://foomap.de/), which features a fullscreen map via Google Maps API v3, suddenly stopped working today. Instead it presents the error message
"Google has disabled the use of Maps API for this application. See terms of Service for more information: http://www.google.com/help/terms_maps.html"
I'm neither aware of any violations of google's terms of service nor did the website reach any usage limits (according to Google's API console).
Any ideas what is wrong?

assuming there are no other problems, you have a daily and per-second limit. You may be over quota.

Looks to be a google error on their end...

For now, remove the key parameter as its not a mandatory:
<script type="text/javascript"
src="https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?sensor=SET_TO_TRUE_OR_FALSE">
</script>
It worked for me, but i still don't know why whats the problem.. I believe Google is doing some changes...

I am using Google map in my website, it gives this error:
This page can't load Google Maps correctly
Also it shows this in the console:
You have exceeded your request quota for this API. See https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/
I have enabled the billing, checked the Quotas none of my quotas currently have usage. I have enabled this service Geocoding API, Geolocation API, Maps JavaScript API, and I also have a valid API key.
What am I doing wrong?
The error might occur if you changed your QPS (Quota Per Second) less than 100.

Google Maps API error: Google Maps API error: ApiNotActivatedMapError

I am trying to use google maps distance matrix api in my project to get distance between 2 places. I have also enable this api in google developer console. But I am continuously getting error ApiNotActivatedMapError.
I am using sample code provided by google as distance-matrix .
When you use a library or service via the Maps-Javascript-API, and use a key, you only need to activate the Google Maps JavaScript API .
When you get the particular error with the linked example you obviously didn't activate the Google Maps JavaScript API for your project.
Update:
since June 22, 2016 you need also to activate the related API(Webservice) for new applications when you want to use the following features:
geocoding service
directions service
distanceMatrix service
elevation service
places library
Old question.. But.. I had n similar issue recently with a ApiNotActivatedMapError using geocoding but Konerak's comment helped me get to this really nice post.
Basically, you can activate your API's here: https://console.developers.google.com/apis/library
Activating Google Maps JavaScript API along with the already activate Geocoding API solved my problem.
Hope it helps someone in a similar position :)
This link is enabled API https://console.developers.google.com/apis/library. For default emulator and in iOS its disabled, but in this console you can active this API.

How to get Google Maps Embed API key? (Google documentation is out of date)

I know this kind of question on Stack Overflow is frowned upon, but... they're also frequently answered, before the inevitable downvoting.
I'm trying to get the Google Map Embed API, but the documentation (located here: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/tutorial#api_key) is out of date, as the screenshot and instruction don't match what I'm actually seeing on the current Google Developers Console.
Has anyone figured this one out?
Visit the Google Developers Console and log in with your Google
Account
Create a project (button at the top).
Under "APIs and auth"- Credentials - create a key.
Under "APIs and auth"- APIs - search for Embed API and enable it.

Integrating Google Maps in OBIEE

I come to you in the hope of finding a solution to a problem I encountered when I embed Google Maps in OBIEE.
Indeed, after following the standard procedure defined on this link:
http://onlyobi.blogspot.fr/2014/03/obiee-11g-google-map-integration-guest.html
I get the following error appears in OBIEE:
"Google has disabled use of the Google Maps API for this application. The key provided is not a valid Google API key or is not a licensed version 3 API key
Google Maps Javascript on this site. If you are the owner of this applicatio, please go to ... "
Thank you for your support,
Have you tried using the maps visualization from Google? More details here:
https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/map
We use this in OBIEE to display certain data on maps.
Using MapViewer, we can integrate google maps with the OBIEE 11g/12c. More details is here:
