While executing this query i always got the concession result as '0' only, totally i got 2 lakh customer data's, but for all customer's i got the concession value as '0' only, what mistake i did in these query?
-- 4. Concession & Other pre-purchases
if (select count(*) FROM tbl_OrderFoodLog where OrderLog_ID in
(select OrderLog_ID from #MemberOrderLog where Member_MailId=#EmailId))>0
if (select count(*) from #CustTrans where OrderLog_IsFoodOrder='Y')>0
begin
select #Concession=(select SUM( FoodLog_Total) FROM tbl_OrderFoodLog where OrderLog_ID --in ( select OrderLog_ID from #MemberOrderLog where Member_MailId=#EmailId))/
--(select -COUNT(*) from #MemberOrderLog where Member_MailId=#EmailId)
select #FoodAmount=cast(SUM( FoodLog_Total) as float) FROM tbl_OrderFoodLog where OrderLog_ID in ( select OrderLog_ID from #CustTrans where OrderLog_IsFoodOrder='Y')
select #Concession=(#FoodAmount)/#Frequency
end
else
begin
select #Concession=0.00

Mysql On trigger each row

i need help for the below code. My problem is that i want only that code executes once per statement (after i search i checked that expression don't exists anymore only once per row).
So i tried to add:
IF NOT EXISTS
(Select count(*) FROM replay_replays_access WHERE id_game = new.id_game GROUP BY id_game HAVING count(*) <5)
THEN
But didn't work either what can i do, its duplicating sometime triplicating the information?
TRIGGER replay

ON table_replays FOR EACH ROW
begin
IF EXISTS
(SELECT

Find an average age range over a span of ages

I need to find the most occurrences in a 10yr age range that can be Age 2 to 22, 15 to 25, 10 to 20, etc. in a table with name & age
I've created the SQL that returns the average age:
SELECT age, count(age)
FROM member
GROUP BY age
ORDER BY COUNT(age) DESC
LIMIT 1
Thanks for your help!
Create another table ages to hold the age ranges you are interested in with a field for age_lower, age_upper and a display name age_range such as '2 to 22'
Join the tables with a WHERE clause that puts the age between the lower and upper ranges.
SELECT `age_range`, COUNT(`age`) AS age_count
FROM `member` INNER JOIN `ages`
ON age BETWEEN age_lower AND age_upper
GROUP BY age_range
ORDER BY COUNT(`age`) DESC, `age_range` ASC
SQL Fiddle
This might solve the problem. The only thing I added was a table to hold values 1..x where x is your bucket count. The #T can easily be replaced with your MySQL table name. The results are all possible sets the age falls in, for each age. Then count of how many equal sets.

wrong result mysql in function only

I have the following function, mysql query:
BEGIN
DECLARE r float(10,2);
DECLARE var_total float(10,2);
DECLARE var_discount float(10,2) DEFAULT null;
SELECT
sum(x.amount)
FROM
(
(SELECT
student_booking_school_course_price as amount
FROM
tbl_student_booking_school_course
WHERE
student_booking_id=par_student_booking_id
)
UNION
(SELECT
student_booking_school_accommodation_price as amount
FROM
tbl_student_booking_school_accommodation
WHERE
student_booking_id=par_student_booking_id
)
UNION
(SELECT
student_booking_school_insurance_price as amount
FROM
tbl_student_booking_school_insurance
WHERE
student_booking_id=par_student_booking_id
)
UNION
(SELECT
student_booking_school_transfer_price as amount
FROM
tbl_student_booking_school_transfer
WHERE
student_booking_id=par_student_booking_id
)
) x
INTO var_total;
IF var_total IS NULL THEN
SET r = 0;
END IF;
-- discount
SET var_discount = (SELECT
sb.student_booking_discount_amount
FROM
tbl_student_booking sb
WHERE
sb.student_booking_id=par_student_booking_id LIMIT 1);
IF var_discount IS NOT NULL THEN
SET r = var_total - var_discount;
end if;
return r;
END
The values are:
9698.88 course
559.55 accommodation
559.55 insurance
145.98 discount
It seems that the first query inside the function, only sums distinct values, as the result with discount is: 10112.45, so is not summing one value of 559.55, I tried to output different things as concat with a string and only see the result as 9698.88course,559.55accommodation, etc.. and it is fine. So I assume the issue is that is not summing if values are equals. The strange thing is that running this from the console, only the query outside the function, it sums ok.
My question is this a normal behaviour of MySql?If so is there a way to prevent this? is this a bug?
What you need here is UNION ALL clause:
SELECT
sum(x.amount)
FROM
(
(SELECT
student_booking_school_course_price as amount
FROM
tbl_student_booking_school_course
WHERE
student_booking_id=par_student_booking_id
)
UNION ALL
(SELECT
student_booking_school_accommodation_price as amount
FROM
tbl_student_booking_school_accommodation
WHERE
student_booking_id=par_student_booking_id
)
UNION ALL
(SELECT
student_booking_school_insurance_price as amount
FROM
tbl_student_booking_school_insurance
WHERE
student_booking_id=par_student_booking_id
)
UNION ALL
(SELECT
student_booking_school_transfer_price as amount
FROM
tbl_student_booking_school_transfer
WHERE
student_booking_id=par_student_booking_id
)
) x
INTO var_total;
The MySQL UNION Documentation says:
A DISTINCT union can be produced explicitly by using UNION DISTINCT or
implicitly by using UNION with no following DISTINCT or ALL keyword.

multiple select on stored procedure

I'm trying to do multiple selects from one table but it only shown the last select statement.
CREATE PROCEDURE `usp_GetStockCard` (IN Matecode varchar(10))
BEGIN
(select tran_date as tran_date
from TM_matbalance
where Mate_code=Matecode);
(select Mate_code as Mate_code
from TM_matbalance
where Mate_code=Matecode);
(select tran_qtyx as Qty_in
from TM_matbalance
where tran_type='IN'
and mate_code=matecode);
(select tran_qtyx as Qty_out
from TM_matbalance
where tran_type='OUT'
and mate_code=matecode);
END
I've tried to change semicolon to comma after each select statement but it said that syntax error: missing 'semicolon'.
please help.
I look at your problem and I think I solve it.
Basically there is two problems here first one is to pivot your table where your Tran_Qtyx column become Qty_In and Qty_Out based on value in Tran_Type column (IN or OUT)... That part of problem you solve with this query
SELECT Tran_Date, Mate_Code,
SUM(CASE WHEN Tran_Type = 'IN' THEN Tran_Qtyx ELSE 0 END) Qty_In,
SUM(CASE WHEN Tran_Type = 'OUT' THEN Tran_Qtyx ELSE 0 END) Qty_Out
FROM myTable
WHERE Mate_Code = 'MAT001'
GROUP BY DATE(Tran_Date)
NOTE: In your desired result I only see 'MAT001'as Mate_Code so I stick with that in this solution and exclude MAT002 from result.
More about pivot table you can read here, there you can find a link, which is good to take a look, and where you can find a lot of stuff about mysql query's.
The second part of your problem is to get Qty_Balance column. Similar problem is solved here. It's how to calculate row value based on the value in previous row.
So your complete query could look like this:
SELECT t1.Tran_Date, t1.Mate_Code, t1.Qty_In, t1.Qty_Out,
#b := #b + t1.Qty_In - t1.Qty_Out AS Qty_Balance
FROM
(SELECT #b := 0) AS dummy
CROSS JOIN
(SELECT Tran_Date, Mate_Code,
SUM(CASE WHEN Tran_Type = 'IN' THEN Tran_Qtyx ELSE 0 END) Qty_In,
SUM(CASE WHEN Tran_Type = 'OUT' THEN Tran_Qtyx ELSE 0 END) Qty_Out
FROM myTable
WHERE Mate_Code = 'MAT001'
GROUP BY DATE(Tran_Date)) AS t1
ORDER BY t1.Tran_Date;
NOTE: probably only think you should change here is table name and it's should work.
Here is SQL Fiddle so you can see how that's work!
GL!
You will need to structure your query into one, or pass in a parameter to the stored procedure to select which output/query you want, to restructure your query you will need something like:
`CREATE PROCEDURE `usp_GetStockCard` (IN Matecode varchar(10))
BEGIN
(select tran_date as tran_date, Mate_code as Mate_code, tran_qtyx as Qty
from TM_matbalance
where Mate_code=Matecode
and (tran_type='IN' or tran_type='OUT');
END`
Or try this if you have an ID column:
SELECT coalesce(ta.id, tb.id) as tran_id, coalesce(ta.tran_date, tb.tran_date) as tran_date, coalesce(ta.Mate_code, tb.Mate_code) as Mate_code, ta.tran_type as Qty_In, tb.tran_type as Qty_Out
from (select ta.*
from TM_matbalance ta
where ta.tran_type = 'IN'
and Mate_code=Matecode
) ta full outer join
(select tb.*
from TM_matbalance tb
where tb.tran_type = 'OUT'
and Mate_code=Matecode
) tb
on ta.id = tb.id ;
just replace "id" with the name of your ID column if you don't need to return the id column then remove coalesce(ta.id, tb.id) as tran_id

MySQL SELECT Query - Subtract a SUM() value with the combined total of two other SUM() values

I have two SELECT statements that give the values "TotalSales" and "VendorPay_Com". I want to be able to subtract VendorPay_Com from TotalSales within the one MySQL statement to get the value "Outstanding_Funds" but I haven't found a reliable way to do so.
These are my two statements:
Query 1:
SELECT SUM(Price) AS TotalSales
FROM PROPERTY
WHERE Status = 'Sold';
Query 2:
SELECT SUM(AC.Amount) AS VendorPay_Comm
FROM (
SELECT Amount FROM lawyer_pays_vendor
UNION ALL
SELECT CommissionEarned AS `Amount` FROM COMMISSION AS C WHERE C.`status` = 'Paid') AS AC
Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated :)
You can do it as follows :
select (select ...) - (select ...)
In your example, simply :
select
(
SELECT SUM(Price) AS TotalSales
FROM PROPERTY
WHERE Status = 'Sold'
)
-
(
SELECT SUM(AC.Amount) AS VendorPay_Comm
FROM (
SELECT Amount FROM lawyer_pays_vendor
UNION ALL
SELECT CommissionEarned AS `Amount` FROM COMMISSION AS C WHERE C.`status` = 'Paid') AS AC
) AS Outstanding_Funds
Try
SELECT TotalSales-VendorPay_Comm AS Outstanding_Funds
FROM
(SELECT SUM(Price) AS TotalSales
FROM PROPERTY
WHERE Status = 'Sold') t1,
(SELECT SUM(Amount) AS VendorPay_Comm
FROM (SELECT Amount FROM lawyer_pays_vendor
UNION ALL
SELECT CommissionEarned AS Amount
FROM COMMISSION
WHERE Status = 'Paid') t0) t2
