The code I am trying to use is below, Ive double checked it and everything and it keeps saying this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function Votifier() , I dont know what the problem is here. This is my last resort to ask here, Ive been googling for 2 hours.. Thanks in advance.
<?php
if (isset($_COOKIE['votfed']) && $_COOKIE['vofted'] == 'true') {
exit();
} else {
mysql_connect("", "", "")or die("cannot connect");
mysql_select_db("")or die("cannot select DB");
$result = mysql_query('SELECT * FROM servers WHERE id = "' . $_GET["server"] . '"');
while ($row = mysql_fetch_array($result)) {
$public_key = $row['votifier_key'];
$server_ip = $row['ip'];
$server_port = $row['votifier_port'];
$username = 'USERNAME';
}
$username = preg_replace("/[^A-Za-z0-9_]+/", '', $username);
if (Votifier($public_key, $server_ip, $server_port, $username)) {
echo 'Success!';
} else {
echo 'Error!';
}
ini_set('error_reporting', E_ALL);
function Votifier($public_key, $server_ip, $server_port, $username) {
$public_key = wordwrap($public_key, 65, "\n", true);
$public_key = <<<EOF
-----BEGIN PUBLIC KEY-----
$public_key
-----END PUBLIC KEY-----
EOF;
$address = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
$timestamp = time();
$string = "VOTE\MC-ServerLists.com\n$username\n$address\n$timeStamp\n";
$leftover = (256 - strlen($string)) / 2;
while ($leftover > 0) {
$string .= "\x0";
$leftover--;
}
openssl_public_encrypt($string, $crypted, $public_key);
$socket = fsockopen($server_ip, $server_port, $errno, $errstr, 3);
if ($socket) {
fwrite($socket, $crypted);
return true;
} else
return false;
}
mysql_connect("", "", "")or die("cannot connect");
mysql_select_db("")or die("cannot select DB");
mysql_query('insert into voters (server_id, ipaddress) VALUES ("' . $_GET["server"] . '", "' . $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] . '")');
}

If you formatted your code correctly, you'd see that the function is conditionally defined, and because of this, its definition must occur before you call the function:
<?php
if (isset($_COOKIE['votfed']) && $_COOKIE['vofted'] == 'true') {
// ...
} else {
// ...
$username = preg_replace("/[^A-Za-z0-9_]+/", '', $username);
if (Votifier($public_key, $server_ip, $server_port, $username)) {
echo 'Success!';
} else {
echo 'Error!';
}
function Votifier($public_key, $server_ip, $server_port, $username)
{
// ...
}
// ...
}
?>
Essentially, you are executing this code:
<?php
if( false) {
} else {
if( foo()) {
echo 'Foo!';
}
function foo() {
return true;
}
}
Which should show you that foo() is not defined until after the else executes, but you call foo() at the beginning of the else block (before it's defined).
Your function should be outside of the if statement, like this:
<?php
function Votifier($public_key, $server_ip, $server_port, $username)
{
// ...
}
if (isset($_COOKIE['votfed']) && $_COOKIE['vofted'] == 'true') {
// ...
} else {
// ...
$username = preg_replace("/[^A-Za-z0-9_]+/", '', $username);
if (Votifier($public_key, $server_ip, $server_port, $username)) {
echo 'Success!';
} else {
echo 'Error!';
}
// ...
}
Alternatively, you can place it at the beginning of the else block, but I wouldn't recommend it from a readability standpoint.

MYSQL Error, what did i do wrong?

If I remove the or die("MySQL ERROR: ".mysqli_error()); from the code below, it gives me no error. But it also doesn't write to the database.

Mysql Clone user account from database

I have a database with aproximately 200 tables. I want to clone a certain user-account in this database. Is this possible in mysql?
With cloning I mean to create a new user with the same 'settings' as the user with id 14.
A quick google search reveals that you in fact can do this. There is a utility called " "mysql user clone", that lets you surprisingly clone a user for mysql.
If you check out the manual I'm sure it provides you with great tips about how to use it, for instance, this quote:
EXAMPLES
To clone joe as sam and sally with passwords and logging in as root on the local machine, use this command:
$ mysqluserclone --source=root#localhost \
--destination=root#localhost \
joe#localhost sam:secret1#localhost sally:secret2#localhost
# Source on localhost: ... connected.
# Destination on localhost: ... connected.
# Cloning 2 users...
# Cloning joe#localhost to user sam:secret1#localhost
# Cloning joe#localhost to user sally:secret2#localhost
# ...done.
since it appears #Nanne's approach, mysqluserclone is EOL / not supported by Oracle, i wrote a similar utility in PHP, usage:
<?php
$db = new \PDO("mysql:host={$db_creds->dbhost};dbname={$db_creds->dbname};charset=utf8mb4;port=" . $db_creds->dbport, $db_creds->superuser_user, $db_creds->superuser_pass, array(
\PDO::ATTR_EMULATE_PREPARES => false,
\PDO::ATTR_ERRMODE => \PDO::ERRMODE_EXCEPTION,
\PDO::ATTR_DEFAULT_FETCH_MODE => \PDO::FETCH_ASSOC
));
Mysqluserclone::clone_account($db, "original username", "cloned username");
and this part of the code may be of particular interest:
if (0) {
echo "the following SQLs will clone this account:\n";
echo implode("\n\n", $sqls_for_cloning) . "\n\n";
die();
}

Amazon Product Ads, is there an API to search for Categories?

I'm building a module that will help seller put their products catalogue in the Amazon Product Ads service. For that, I need to make a mapping between the client's category and the Amazon Product Ads categories.
Problem is, I can't find an API that will help me search for Categories, or a file containing all the existing categories for Amazon Product Ads.
I found that link http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSECommerceService/latest/DG/BrowseNodeIDs.html, that may be a start, but based on their API, it's not possible to search by text (like "Apparel") but by NodeId, which is not what I'm looking for :/
Can anyone of you help me please?
Thank you for your help :)
You have to use Browse Node Id of parent categories and bases on that you can search for sub categories.

Hide mySQL error from invalid URL

I have a site with 300 articles stored in a mySQL database with the URL format of www.site.com/article1.html.
Most invalid URLs redirect succesfully to the main site. For example, www.site.com/article301 redirects to www.site.com, which is what I want.
But www.site.com/article301.html does not redirect anywhere. Instead it loads a blank article template and the following error at the top of the page:
Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home//public_html/site.com/functions.php on line 26
Line 26 and down reads
if(mysql_num_rows($result)>0) {

Probably your query failed, and you have no error handling. Your basic bare-bones query sequence should be:
$result = mysql_query($sql) or die(mysql_error());
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
If you assume the query succeeded and blindly use $result later, you tend to get the type of errors you do, as mysql_query will return a boolean FALSE when something goes boom. That FALSE is not a valid statement handle, so the subsequent num_rows/fetch calls will also go boom.
Never assume a query has succeeded. Even if your sql syntax is 100% perfect, there's far too many other reasons for failure to NOT check.
Try replacing
if(mysql_num_rows($result)>0) {
with
if($result === FALSE) {
header('Location: http://www.example.com/');
}
else if (mysql_num_rows($result)>0) {
// Query was valid, but no rows returned. Take appropriate action.
}

For troubleshooting purposes, what does it display if you change the function to this instead? Please be aware that this will intentionally break your site, but it will provide data that is useful for troubleshooting.
function get_folders_path($id) {
$f=0;
$path='';
while($f==0)
{
$result=mysql_query("SELECT * FROM categories WHERE id=$id");
die(sprintf("Value of id: %s, MySQL Error: %s",
var_dump($id, true), var_dump(mysql_error($result), true)));
// Leave the rest of your function as-is, just insert the line above.
